When the video of sweet-natured, clumsy Kevin getting dumped by his boyfriend goes viral, he decides there is only one thing to do…get revenge. And the best way to get back at an up and coming online celebrity is to build a bigger, better, channel. His goal? Over one million subscribers in twelve months.

Unfortunately, Kevin doesn’t have any real talents or skills, just the freedom of knowing that the whole world has already seen him at his worst, and he can’t be any more humiliated than that. So instead of hiding from his online infamy, he decides to let the world be his therapist, sending him on adventures all across the globe to help him show his ex what a mistake he made. Along for the ride is his best friend and reluctant cameraman, Steve.

When Steve agreed to go on this adventure with Kevin, he thought it would be a few weeks of parties and exotic locations before returning to his regular life. Little did he expect to discover a side of himself, and Kevin, that neither of them knew was there. A side that makes him wonder if there can be more between them than friendship.

Getting dumped online was bad but falling in love with the cameras rolling might turn out to be its own disaster. Can friends become lovers in real life, or is it all just for the views?

***** An amazing, fresh and funny M/M romance.
Barber Kevin, a ginger otter with blue eyes and a beard,

has a very public breakup.
His best friend, Steve, a shop owner,

is there to shake him up.
Always confident Steve gets Kevin back into the world. They strike a deal that Kevin will lose weight, and gain back his life. They begin a vlog to show Kevin's journey, wanting one million followers by a years end, with Steve as his camera man. Beginning with yoga videos, rafting, hiking, camping and more, we see the transformation. Not all events go smoothly, but it makes for fun times, great videos and lots of followers.

Meanwhile, Kevin is becoming his true self. He sheds the pounds and shaves. I like each man. We get their deepest thoughts, find out some surprises and we watch as the adventures slowly go by, just how much they each feel about each other.

A kiss leads to more, and they are so honest, snarky, and fun. It's refreshing, and together they can relax, opening up to more. Their sexy times are inevitable, and are open, intense and uninhibited.

A completely delightful story, with a tech savvy vlog, that is fascinating, expressive and romantic.
ENJOY !

A viral video and consequences

California author Jerry Cole’s publications are now in the range of 90! And as Jerry’s repertoire grows his dramatic ability increases. Keeping in the queue of fine novels UNSCRIPTED LOVE is another Cole winner!

For those who follow Jerry’s many books, his ability to paint a scene we wish to explore is expected. And in this new book he lives up to that expectation – ‘‘Week One -
Zero Subscribers - Kevin blinked slowly. How long had he been laying here? The sun was still peeking in through the blinds in the window so it must still be daytime. Which day? “Was it love at first sight?” The interviewer asked. The blonde beauty guru on-screen wrinkled his nose and shook his head, covering his mouth with his oversized sweater sleeve like a shy schoolgirl. That was during his Japanese anime phase. He was always trying to look like a manga character brought to life. “No, I actually didn’t really like him. But we were like the only two people there who obviously didn’t belong. So, I guess, to avoid staring at the floor all night we ended up talking to each other.” Kevin continued to watch the screen with dead eyes. He’d seen this video a thousand times. It’s one of the few where he’s on-screen for more than a minute by himself. Not as part of a couple. Not as a prop or a disembodied voice from behind the camera. Just him…’

With that subtle opener, this story begins, and is summarized well by the synopsis: ‘When the video of sweet-natured, clumsy Kevin getting dumped by his boyfriend goes viral, he decides there is only one thing to do...get revenge. And the best way to get back at an up and coming online celebrity is to build a bigger, better, channel. His goal? Over one million subscribers in twelve months. This is a fine examination of social media madness – and a hot little novel to boot. Jerry Cole seemingly has endless stories to share. Recommended.

Unscripted Love is the story of Kevin whose humiliating and disastrous breakup leads him on a path of self healing and discovery. When his best friend Steve drops by and alcohol gets involved, we find that Kevin has struck a deal with himself and the world to get one million subscribers on social media within one year. The story is told within a one year timeframe as the reader gets to see all of the adventures Kevin and Steve find themselves in while counting the amount of subscribers Kevin gets to his goal. Unfortunately, what Kevin and Steve didn’t realize is that while they worked together to help Kevin find himself, they would eventually find love as well. I found myself falling in love with the characters because Kevin is such a sweet, lovable oaf. Steve, on the other hand, is definitely that one friend who manages to constantly get you into trouble and always wants to go to Taco Bell at 2 in the morning. We get to see how their friendship blossoms into romance as Kevin and Steve turns the worse thing that has happened to Kevin into the best thing that has happened to the two of them. This was a very cute story. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. For years Kevin had built his life around Lance, when is video goes live of the humiliating breakup. Steve comes over to help his best friend out of the slump of ugly crying and get back out in the real world of taking down the high diva. Kevin and Steve start an anti-Lance Vlog, starting off with yoga which is hilarious from the readers point of view. A wonderful story of friend to lovers.  A self challenge to hit a million viewers just by getting out of your comfort zone, taking a chance on losing your best friend over doubts because of a sleazy ex. Finding happiness totally worth the ugly crying. When reading this book be prepared to laugh a lot and just feel the love bloom.

Kevin gets dumped by his boyfriend in the most public way. Instead of moping and going into hiding he decided to get his revenge on his ex. He is determined to build his own web channel and his goal is to get at least one million subscribers and to show his ex that he has fun after getting dumped and that he is having a great time. With the help of his friend Steve, who also acts as his cameraman, they embark on a series of adventures. In the process they discover more of themselves and begin to fall for each other.
This book is very easy to read and in places funny and very interesting. Well worth reading.

After a humiliating breakup, Keven with his friend Steve set out to make videos to get revenge. This is a great book following the adventures that Kevin and Steve go on to get more and more subscribers.

The antics that Kevin goes through are sometimes funny and you feel his embarrassment but also his achievements.

The way the two men interact is beautifully written and the chemistry burns bright. Jerry Cole has captured the world of internet videoing and the antics that seem to go on with online ‘celebrities’.

I highly recommend this book, a fun romantic story.

Very quick and enjoyable read. I really appreciated the fact that there was no useless drama, no petty revenge but instead something that was just as much for Kevin to find himself. Steve no bs persona was great and I'm glad he stick to it to the very end and that there wasn't any weird misunderstanding just to add conflict because of it.
I also really loved the fact that the getting together was progressive and they didn't jump in bed right away and they actually were cautious to protect their friendship but in the end just decided to go for it.

Okay, but Jerry Cole is hands down the KING of the short, sweet, lovely stories and he keeps proving it!

So, as I said, sweet short story of poor Kevin who got dumped by his asshole boyfriend in a video which went viral and his bestie, hottie Steve who helps him gain his confidence again and gets his life back. I mean, thats what are friends for, right?
BUT the two boys start to go on adventures, things start to get hot and feelings start to butt in. Sweet and endearing, thats what its is and it awaits you!

In this book Jerry Cole delivered us a story about the world today. How social media can create us or destroy us. Kevin got caught on it but found Steve on time and was able to recover his freedom and continue living. A wonderful metaphor for our lives always connected and the loose of privacy. The last dialogue of Kevin is simply brilliant.... Loved it!!!

Kevin's boyfriend destroyed him in a break-up video he posted to get more social media followers. Steve missed his friend, Kevin, and is ready to help him get over the terrible experience and regain his self esteem. A good read with Kevin re-evaluating himself and his future.
