At the boss's pleasure, a series consisting of 3 parts and this book is the first part. Although Zac says he doesn't want a relationship, he has had a sex relationship with his assistant for 2 years and can't get enough of her. even though it was not the intention, April falls for her boss and decides to end their relationship. Only it is not that easy to get him out of her head, certainly not because she is still working for him. When she discovers that she is accidentally pregnant with him, she decides to resign.
A great start to a series. Respectful relationship even though Zac is the boss. Nice to see the story written from both sides and to read how Zac sees that he feels more for April than he has ever felt for another woman. And then insist that he is not in favor of permanent relationships!

Actually, this was a very good short. Well written engaging characters with a lot of chemistry. April has been Zac’s private secretary and right hand for the last five years. She is invaluable to him.
Two years ago, things changed. Breaking his own rule. In two years, no one has figured out what that change is. Yet, April is worried that her feelings are starting to form for Zac. Breaking their agreement of no strings, mainly because Zac doesn’t do commitment.
April, however, is feeling it’s time to call it quits but Zac is not happy you see she has become his drug of choice. See how they work with what they created. Although, who wins you won’t find out in this free book I found on Amazon. You’ll need to buy the next two books to find out. I give this: 4 stars.

Alice worked for Zac for five years as his personal assistant they have start a relationship in secret because the company has a no fraternizing Policy at work.
They keep professional at work but in his office behind doors they can’t keep there hands of each other.
The chemistry between them is hot and steamy but something unexpected changes things between them she pregnant.
I really recommend reading this book can’t wait to read the next one to find out.

This is a story about April Lawrence and Zac Turner. They share a very strong mutual attraction. April works for Zac, and despite his no-fraternisation policy at work, they engage in a secret, physical relationship together. Is there a fine line with mixing business with pleasure? April has been Zac's private secretary for five years and they are strongly attracted to each other so they start a physical relationship with the agreement no feelings or attachments. Two years have passed with their agreement in place but April has feelings for Zac that she knows he does not return and when she finds out she is pregnant it is time to leave. Zac does not intend to let April go even if he does not do relationships she is all he can think about. Enjoyed this short but so hot romance with two professional people who try to keep things casual but they both have growing feelings.

After two years of of having a secret relationship Zac and April learned that secrets have a way of coming weather you want to or not. Having baby is not a small thing and this forces them to think about what they feel and what they mean to each other. I hope they will finally stop laying to themselves and decide what they really want. The story was interesting but I am disappointed that it's a series.

This book had a great beginning to the story. This was my first time reading from author MD Blossom but she's quickly becoming one of my favorites. What is clear in Book One is that Zac Turner and April Lawrence have been having a casuel fling for two years. April is Zac's personal assistant. Zac has a no fraternizing policy in place at work. Yeah...that works out real well! Can't wait to continue this story!

Sadly is a 48 pages book with a cliffhanger. The second book supposedly you can get it for free if you sign to get notify for any new books from the author. When you try to sign up it says the page expired. When yo try to buy the second and third books there is no match. Don't waste your time with this author and book.

Book 1 - Great beginning to the trilogy - meet April and Zac - learn a little background and about their hot current affair. I LOVE good office romance books. My suggestion is get the 3 book set so you can read the entire trilogy at once.

It's a pity that the author decided to go the route of splitting the novel into books when it's obvious that they can be read as one consistent book.
Interested in learning how it ends but not interested in buying chapters masquerading as complete books.
