Dante, the vengeful demon underlord, and his nemesis, Arya, the thief who steals his talisman, his daughter, and his heart. She’s the best thief around. Getting caught is not an option.
One night of scorching-hot passion. One empty promise that he would return in a week.
That’s all Arya had left to remind her of the demon lord who walked away from her that morning – and never came back.
Well, that, and her daughter, Jasmine. The beautiful child, born into two Deviant worlds.
The two halves of her little soul were fighting for dominance – she wouldn’t live much longer without a powerful talisman.
But the only person with an artifact powerful enough to help her little girl, is Dante - the child’s cruel and heartless father, who had shown Arya the ultimate betrayal.
But it doesn’t matter, because Arya is the most talented thief in the sorceress world – and she’s going to steal the Chasm of Guile.
Right. Out. From. Under. Him.
Screw him. And he’ll never know. About the talisman - or his daughter.
The rumors about Dante say that he’s a vicious enemy to have…
So Arya will do anything to protect her daughter - including keeping her little girl’s existence a secret from the child’s cold-hearted demon father.
If you like Gena Showalter, J.R. Ward, or Sherrilyn Kenyon, then you'll love Jacey's style of writing. She loves to create hot and steamy plots of the paranormal variety.
Jacey adores a strong hero who's put up against a witty heroine that isn't afraid to take her own destiny into her hands. Check out her books to see some of the battles between these heros and heroines as they overcome the obstacles facing them (often each other!) to find their happily-and-hotly-ever-after!

While Deviant Protector was somewhat predictable, I enjoyed the characters and the story line. This was a nice read, I'm glad I picked it up and gave it a try.
Actually very good. The characters were likeable from the start and the story progression on point. It was easy to see both PIG and the twist was a surprise.
I had read this before somewhere and couldn’t place it until I checked this authors list. This was originally called THE DEMON TAKES ALL. Review link - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... I can only assume the author is making this into a series. Enjoyable enough but it all wraps up very quickly, really could do with an epilogue. Doesn’t really say if Dante has been with any other women in the last two years. Gives lip service to him trying to finding Arya but with his resources he shouldn’t have had such a problem. Arya is basically a thief which doesn’t endear her to me. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
Arya had no idea when she met Dante at a nightclub that he would have such an impact on her life. She believed thar he loved her then left her after promising that he would be back. When she tried to contact him she faces the humiliating rejection not realising that it wasn't his fault. Now the only thing that matters is the daughter that resulted from that one night. Readers should enjoy reading this book and finding out what happens between this sorceress theif and her demon lord lover. I would highly recommend this book.
