It's okay. I guess it gives a reasonable portrayal of life in a bad, ethnic neighborhood. It certainly gives the high-school queen bee a bit of payback. Otherwise, it's really just a slice of Andre's life. Good and bad happen. But overall, time simply passes. It had a hard-time holding my attention.

Great world building. Haunting. Realistic. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable.

Good read

Good book to read, Andre is a good teen, his mom, Angie, don’t get it though. Andre better do better with Tiffany, not a fan of Chandra.

Really want part 2 its so great to go back and read childhood novels and still get the feel of being in the story
