Fulfilling a prophecy to save the world can drive a young woman mad as the enthralling epic fantasy series continues.

Carol Rafel knows the lengths to which the sorcerer Kragan will go to impede the fulfillment of her prophecy: destroy the wielder of necrotic magic before she destroys him. Never far from Kragan’s evil grasp, she is struck down by his wicked spell.

Carol’s assassin husband, Arn, has no choice but to cast aside his precious weapon to embrace a more powerful one: the clairvoyance he shares with Carol. With time-sights linked, they must now rely on the dreamscapes of their minds to track Kragan into the shadows as he nears his own invaluable weapon: the legendary shattered trident, which will ensure him godlike powers. But Carol and Arn’s visions come at a cost. Pursuit into such abominable darkness is leading to madness.

As Kragan’s armies amass for a raging war between good and evil, Carol fears that the ancient prophecy she’s been chosen to bear out may be impossible to survive.

Carries on in the same vein

Enjoyable but I think this should have been the last one as it is getting dragged out a bit too much now.

3897, Before Year of Record (BYOR) Northeastern Plains, Endar (Continent). Landrel (Endarian, husband/father, eldest son, magician) had went looking for Dailus (10, son).
He had been bitten by a tree adder.
A wolf & her pups had spied the 2 of them.

Landrel had sacrificed becoming a King & was now banished by the Endarian High Council.
415, Year of Record (YOR) Zvejys Fishing Village of Klampyne, Whale’s Mouth Bay, Sadamad (Continent). Carol Rafel (wife, witch, clairvoyant), Arn “Blade” (human, Carol’s husband, assassin, clairvoyant), Princess Kimber “Kim” (Endarian, sister, Carol’s-½), & Prince Galad (Endarian, brother) stepped out of the longboat & climb up onto the dock.
Something came over Carol. Was this where Kragan had a swarm of sea dragons attack their 2 ships?
There were 100’s of corpses everywhere.
It had to have been Kragan (sorcerer) & his form of necrotic magic.
The chore of sorting through the dead bodies’ personal things & putting them into piles began. Then a mass grave was dug.
Slaken protects Arn from Kragan’s mind magic. But Arn & Carol had other thoughts about Slaken & Commander Charna (she-vorg warrior, prisoner).
Klampyne Zvejys Fishing Village, Whale’s Mouth Bay, Sadamad (Continent). Carol heard Alan Rafel (Carol’s brother) yelling orders at the troops.

Kalnai Foothills, West of Rukkumine. Carol, Arn, Princess Kimber “Kim”, Prince Galad, Commander Charna, Alan, Bill Harrison (Alan’s close companion), Quincy Long (Alan’s close companion, longsword), Katrin (female warrior), & Ty (Kanjari horseman, axe-man) continued on their journey.
Kalnai Foothills, SE of Varjupaik. Areana’s Vale. Ty had been killed in battle.
Rukkumine (city-state) port. Kragan (sorcerer) ordered Lieutenant Matas to have the warriors prepare for battle.
High Priestess Vrajitor had summoned her other Temple of Dieve Priests, Priestess, & acolytes.
SE of Varjupaik. Queen Lielisks had been killed & King Trgovec (Varjupaik) was now the ruler.
He invited Prince Galad & Princess Kimber to dine/drink.

Captain Mecevalec escorted them to the palace.
Southern Kalnai Mountains. General Bojevnik (King Trgovec’s C/O) & a 100 soldiers would escort the Endarian royals: Prince Galad & Princess Kimber, & their entourage into the Kalnai Mountains.
Vurtsid. Queen Afacere army had been defeated.
415, YOR, Paradiis. The armies of Jogi, Paradiis, Vurtsid had assembled.
Carol Rafel & Arn “Blade” were observing.
What did she ask him to do?
A character, settings, etc. list with description would have been nice.
Hooah from a Vietnam Vet!

I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written fantasy book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great fantasy movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. Not my normal read but change was good. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

The Endarian Phrophecy series is pure, epic fantasy! On par with the preceding four volumes, The Time Seer ineluctably drew me in. I’ve become a true fan of Author, Richard Phillips’, writing technique, particularly with the tempo. So far, these books, though aphoristic in nature, each construct the next crucial layer in his largo design. An effective, calescent build leaves the reader yearning for more.

Now, for those of you who have been following this saga, but have a prodigious backlog on your “to read” list, you may be considering skipping The Time Seer . I strongly advise you not to! These characters are calling out. You’ll want to know more. Has the yarn come to an end for Carol, Arn/Blade, Alan/Chosen, Princess Kimber and Prince Galad? And the vile, esurient Kragan(I’m snarling!), has he succeeded in obtaining all the fingers of the Shattered Trident? What’s Landrel’s story and his real intention after all? Is there a cost for Blade’s newfound time-sight? Has Alan developed a new romantic obsession? And Kimber wins plaudits as she wields her healing necrotic magic, but what are the consequences? Tune in! A five star rating.

War and Magik like you have never seen before.

This volume of the Endarian Prophecy has brought out heros and their allies closer to Kragen and the spirit of Landral in their quest for the death of Kragen and peace in their world.

The Chosen continues leading the Forsaken into battle and earns new warriors to replace those who have fallen in the last battle.

Arn/Blade and Carol become closer through their shared love and losses. More than these tidbits happen, but I have no more than these to share with you.

Read all of the books in this series in order to enjoy them to your fullest.

I cannot wait for the next volume.

Continuing to read this saga more out of duty than enjoyment

On the one hand this author's Rho series is among the most original and inventive sci-fi worlds I've ever experienced... on the other, this series reached a point of diminishing returns about two novels ago; the author has woven a highly complex web of characters, plot points, flirting around in history and the present tense but I find myself weary of the tale and grateful to get to the end only to realize it keeps going and I don't really care. I wish I'd stuck to his sci-fi side and let him weave his fantasy on his own.

This is the latest encounter between Lorness Carol Rafel, wh0 possesses magical and mind-altering powers, and Kragan, a purveyor of demonic magic, as they pursue artifacts which are critical to the future of the world. Can Carol and her husband Arn link their powers in a way to prevent Kragan from gaining possession of all the elements of the shattered trident, and thereby become ruler of the entire world?

A Whirlwind of Adventure

This installment has twists and turns that add spice and interest to the plot. Many new developments have shifted the battlefield in the book. Questions have been answered while others have been raised. Victories have walked in the front door while obstacles and setbacks come in through the back. The main characters are becoming more interesting and complex. Looking forward to an epic conclusion in the final book.

I received this book through a giveaway. I enjoyed the book and the concept, but it is the start of a series, so an opening at the end for the book to be continued. There was a lack of character development. For me, I like details. Details about characters, the location and the relationships. I wanted more detail to keep me waiting for the next book.

Love the characters

I have enjoyed the series, however this book seemed to be just a filler on the way to the ending. The heroines seemed to be disadvantaged while the villain given more credit than I think he deserved. Anyway having said that I like the world the author has built and want to see how he brings it together on to the next! Hopefully many !

Mostly enjoyed this one. Even kept my focus a bit better. I still can't help but hear Hans Solo's voice (Harrison Ford in Star Wars 4, 5, 6 notably) in Arn's voice. Most notably with flippant comments. Or "one-liners". Adjusts some when he speaks at greater length. Okay. Suppose while I wait for a possible ride I shall start in on book 06. What is it? Prophecy's End? Suppose I shall see shortly.

.Not enough character development and plot development.

Repetitious war scenes and magical destruction caused me to skim huge amount of the book. I would like there to be redemption of Princess Kimber.

It got better

This book is as good as the previous ones. I love the expansive details of characters and situations they find themselves in without over burdening descriptions. I am sure the next book will be as good.

I won this kindle book for free as part of a giveaway. I realized that it was part of a series when I started reading it. It is a little different than the books I normally read but the author has been very thorough on his world building and character backgrounds.

Weak ending

Just a pale imitation of Tolkein with unbelievable characters. Got really bored halfway through.

Plot simply doesn't work. In reality the evil one would have been traced an initio, and if he could bring the dead to life, so could Kim.

Great book

This series has all the makings of a fantasy tale that will stand the test of time and become a classic. On another note, the Rho Agenda is one of the best sci-fi series I've ever read. I heartily recommend it.

Another great entry in this exciting series

Another great book in the Endarian Prophecy series. I've really enjoyed the series and cannot wait until the next book. I am excited to see how this series finishes and each book has only increased that desire.

I enjoyed the book but I think that a series here with more than four books does not quite work.
Think the momentum has been lost.
Still a pretty good read.
But I am reading more to see how it turns out.
Anyway, that's my thoughts.

Not the best

It started interesting but there comes a point where it drags. Also the incest is something that wasn't necessary. It was a struggle to finish.
