Not my favorite from this author. Story started out really good, loved the innocence and vulnerability of the heroine and the protectiveness of the hero. That was all swoon. Unfortunately, first love scene was ruined by the hero separating himself from the woman he supposedly wants forever by a layer of latex. Other scenes didn’t have gross condom use so not sure what the point of using one for when he claims her innocence was all about.

And the ending fell flat. It has an epilogue years out and no mention if they had any babies together in those years. Just didn’t do it for me sadly.

Hero has been celibate for 3 years. Heroine is innocent. No ow/om drama, no cheating or abuse of any kind. Condom use for their first time, not used afterwards. No babies in epilogue. This was a failed HEA for me.

This was a very cute and well written novella. It was well paced and kept me engaged. I found myself cheering for the MMC as he made progress with the FMC. I loved the interaction between the MMC and FMCs younger brother.

The side characters (members of the MC) made this novella extra special as well.

I really enjoyed this book!! It is very lighthearted and a fun read. I loved how it was short but not too short and had such a good storyline. Stacy and River were so perfect for each other and I just loved them together! I love an mc romance but sometimes you just crave a story that is on the shorter side but still amazing and this was definitely that!!

They were so cute and I loved how we got a glimpse into their future together aka having a family and getting married. I also loved how he was so sweet and protective with her but such an alpha male when with others. I loved how feisty she was but also such a kind and sweet person. I also loved the chemistry they had and the sexual tension. He just fell in love with her so quickly and could not get enough of her! I loved how she grew stronger in herself and grew as a person.

Everyone go check out Cameron Hart, she is an amazing author!! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!! This is one of the many books of hers I have read and she definitely doesn’t disappoint!

This is definitely a quick BUT extremely wonderful read. I'm so happy to have found this author.

Reset before start another series. That is what Cameron Harts books have become for me. Spicy insta love with sweet endings. A total comfort read. Chasing Stacy was right on target. Grumpy older dominant alpha male and a sweet younger FMC. Stacy is a survivor that hasn’t had it easy but she finds something safe in River. I loved that even though we now it’s a insta love with a sweet ending Cameron keeps you hooked with the journey along the way. Always check to make sure your comfortable with what your reading . Stacy was protecting herself & little brother Todd from someone from their past becomes a waitress in a different town where she meets the President River from Chaos MC he's in love immediately he go above & beyond to get her in his life.
River gets to know very closed off Stacy who had a rough past she's scarred & closed off even though he's grumpy Alpha make he's do sweet to Stacy he'll have her as his for sure & make her feel safe.
I definitely recommend to get this delightful story watch River & Stacy's journey to get their HEA, you'll love how protective she is of her brother Todd at any cost to herself a must read you don't want to miss.

For such a short novella this had a lot of storyline to it. Stacy starts working at a diner and River comes in to eat with his other MC Buddies. Instantly he’s attracted to her and when he sees a little boy with her, he has to know everything there it to know about them. So the story is River getting to know the very closed off/scarred Stacy. The shit that Stacy and the little boy went through makes me so sad. River is seriously an Angel of a man. I’m going to look more into others in this series. I might have already read some now that I think about it.

River was so sweet and swoon worthy, I really loved how protective and loyal he was over stacy and her baby brother Todd, it was heartwarming but what the heck was the point of the condom scene when he takes her virginity if they never use one again. I loved the book up until the epilogue 20 years out like what 💔 when and how did they get married, did they have any babies, what was their life like together?! The epilogue ruined the book for me which hurts because I really like it. The author definitely did themselves a disservice with it.

For me this was the best book in this series. River just melted my heart in this one. He saw Stacy and then pursued her from the get go. She didn't make it easy on him but once he caught her he wasn't ever letting her go.
The only disappointing thing for me was that they didn't have any children of their own. Did they not want them or just weren't able to?

Dnf @16% when I read the heroine had just turned 18. The hero is 30, so this took a predatory turn fast.
