Wonderful collection of short stories! I found myself squeezing in time to read this book every second of the day until I could sit down and read the rest in one sitting. I really enjoyed the majority of the stories and I also enjoyed the author notes at the end-giving us glimpses into the background of certain stories. Mr. Peralta certainly has a way with words and I can't wait to read more from him!

Stunning

Samuel Peralta writes with such depth. His words are easy to read and they dive straight to your heart. He paints the most beautiful pictures with his stories. And some times he may move you to tears.

Anything with Samuel Peralta's name on it is worth reading, and savoring <3

Remarkably gripping.

A number of these shorts are incredibly emotionally intense real life (or similar to) situations. It is not easy to induce such feelings with so few words. Possibly because they feel like they are from real life.
And I liked everything else, too, possibly even more.
