Madeline and Peter 💞

Madeline is left destitute after her father dies , so the local pastor in Boston and his wife take her in. She decides to become a mail order bride to Peter, who is a rancher in California.

Peter is a widower with twin sons and his sister Alice has been helping him with them and the house. He is worried when the time gets close for Madeline to arrive because he didn't exactly tell the whole truth about his twins.

Madeline didn't exactly tell him the whole truth about her debt, either...will it haunt her later on?

Great story......

I've enjoyed reading the story, Two are Better Than One, the authors did a great job of selecting a great cast of characters. The heroine put her trust in God to help her get a new start in the west.

A new town, a new life

It was a hard time in Boston, for ladies with no family, but she made it work. Her faith, her pastor and his wife, filled in, when she was accidentally run over. From there, good things began to happen

A very enjoyable read

Thanks for a most enjoyable afternoon. From dire straits to dearly beloved. A common theme but so well done. Thank you for writing it for us.

Missing pages and parts of the story

What I could piece together seemed like it was good, but it was such a struggle to read. Surprisingly, there were so many missing parts.
