Riveting & Intricate

Riveting tales woven with the same thread to inspire and engages the imagination. Each world unique with intricacies amazing to find in short stories!

This is actually my first anthology read. With the subject being dragons I could not turn this away.

Dragons Within contains 12 short stories by 12 different authors. Each story was so unique and engaging but still stuck within the books main theme of Gaurdians protecting what they love. Each author provided a very different twist to this theme of protection and dragons.

I would have liked to speak a little on each story, but alas, that would take me way too long.

What I can say is that all 12 of these stories were very well written and presented. I am not usually a big fan of short stories, as I like the deeper connections to characters but this book drew me in with the unique talent of these authors. And if course dragons helps. I just love dragons.

Some of the tales were not what I expected, but thats one thing I love about fantasy. These short stories definitely surprised me in a good way. You never know who has what it takes to guard their own.

I loved this collection about fierce dragons who were willing to do anything to protect those they cared about!!! Each of these stories was beautifully written and wonderfully unique. I loved how each story grabbed my attention (and kept it!) I’m really happy I picked this up, and I know I’ll be going back for a reread before long! I would most certainly recommend this anthology and all of the amazing authors who contributed to it.

Dragons Within: Guarding Her Own is a beautiful anthology by Balance of Seven is about love, finding strength, knowing what's right and being will to give all you've got to protect those you love.

For me this is something I share with family and our kids. The whole trilogy is worth reading and sharing with those you love.
