Rate this book
The name is Charlee. Charlee Coleman. Used to be fun. Free spirited. Lots of friends. Happy. Then one day, I met Chance. He was everything I dreamed of in a man and more. We got hitched after dating for five years. I never recognized any warning signs - even though they were right there in my face. Now, I am married to what I like to call, "Chance the Disaster." A cold hearted, self-centered, narcissistic control freak. I am waiting for my knight in shining cowboy to come rescue me....

And now the wait begins...

Charlee is one hell of a woman. To find love again after a horrid, abusive marriage is a gift. Mitch is a cowboy God, and I could visualize him riding a mighty steed. Now I get to wait to find out what happens next...hop to it A.L, this cowgirls a waiting.

a solid read, quick and easy. I give this 4.5 stars though because....I dont know I just didn't LOVE the characters, I liked them, but I didn't love them. I personally thought Charlee was being over the top with her reaction to a simple text message from her best friend, and she kept going on and on with her over the top reaction instead of calling the woman and seeing if her friend really was actually giving her an attitude ( I dont think she was). Maybe it was the cowboy/country theme that just didnt do it for me (not a country person lol) but I still liked the story. The writing is good and it was a nice read. I will read the sequel.

Another great read from A.L. Norton

Charlee is a sweet blond haired, blue eyed country girl that married a nightmare. She finally got rid of him but he's determined to make her life miserable! She's afraid to let herself fall in love again but she runs into someone from her past that has never forgotten about her. If she learns to let her guard down she just might find out not all guys are the same. Great read!

Chasing Charlie was an emotionally impactful story about an abused women who gets free and eventually finds love again. She still has a long ways to go to heal but things are staring to come together for her. The author did a great job developing each of the characters and the story draws you in, grabs you and keeps you on your toes. Great book.
