These men are falling faster than rain in a summer storm.

Escaping from a bad relationship, Maddie ended up in Tampa, where she met Jack, only to find out they’re both from New York. While Maddie doesn’t think she wants to be in a relationship again so soon, after a week together, she thinks differently. Only, as soon as she makes it back to New York, Maddie finds out her ex is into some sketchy things, and Jack has inadvertently mixed himself in it as well. But he’s working on getting Maddie’s ex arrested and protecting and loving her at the same time. So what happens when Maddie ends up captured by her ex under Jack’s nose?

Jack and Maddie get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.

I loved that as soon as Jack found out what Maddie’s ex was involved in, his first thought was to go to the FBI and get him arrested. I do wonder if they ever figured out what her ex was doing, signing things in her name, and if they cleared her completely of any wrongdoing. It will be interesting to see how the next couple ties to the previous three couples.

Beware triggers

I have read the first 3 books in the series and unfortunately there seems to be the same trend in all of them. We have an unbelievable male lead and a female lead that at some point goes thru a rape or almost rape. What's the thing with sexual assaults on all book? Understand that unfortunately it happens more frequently that we're aware of, but is just too much. Like the female lead for the book but, I'm not interested in more sexual assaults so finishing the series doesn't sound appealing to me.

Maddie is on vacation just out of a six year, loveless relationship, ignored, verbally abused and no relationship at all, it’s time for her life to start. I didn’t think this series could get any better and then in walks Jack Stevens, holy hotness, sex on a stick gorgeous. Maddie didn’t know what hit her when he saved her from falling, she doesn’t need a man in her life, but then Jack appears, he knows he’s no good for her, but he can’t help but want to know her more. One night, maybe two, and then go separate ways, but that never really happens when the connection is so strong. Something goes wrong in the hotel and Maddie spends time with Jack in his room, but when Maddie realizes that Jack is intertwined with Tom and the business, it puts a little damper on things, how can they be in a relationship and work together? Jack has secrets and the biggest one sent him into a tailspin to change his playboy ways, little did he know that her ex was his business partner and had become a criminal. No amount of alcohol will help get rid of those memories, how does he tell Maddie about her ex?

So much has happened in their lives and Maddie has no clue who the man she was with for all those years is not the man she thought she knew at all. Jack is her protector, her saving grace, but will Jack be able to save Maddie from the clutches of her ex Mike before it’s too late? I'm loving this series and I can’t wait for The Lie which is next. This author weaves a tale that sucks you in and grips you to the core, I had no idea what to expect with their story and I couldn’t see it going any other way. I also loved that the characters from the other books showing up to support them. So good! I found this book on Booksprout.

4 1/2 Stars!! I liked it!

This romance had a contemporary feel to it with mafia like undertones. Setting the stage with the prologue, Jack is the good guy who was trying to bring down illegal trafficking exposed by his dealings with his business associates.
By the time he met and fell for Maddie, his dealings with the FBI were a year long and not completed.
I really liked the way the author wrote the dual POVs as it enhanced the storyline and allowed me to see their inner dialogue. I especially liked Jack's response and focus on Maddie which was pretty intense and equally romantic.
Maddie , just getting off of a six year relationship with her ex, was surprised at her deep responses to Jack. Not wanting to jump into another relationship, she tried to slow things down, but her chemistry and connection with Jack was too strong.
Their romance started fast and was really over the top intense and sexy, but it worked in this storyline. Some suspense, intrigue, kidnapping, twists and turns as Maddie's history with her ex connected with her current relationship with Jack.
A very good read full of intense passion and action culminating in a feel good ending.

Another great book by Maggie Cole

Maddie decides to take a vacation after ending things with her boyfriend of six years. She never plans on meeting anyone, or getting into another relationship, and only wants to spend time on herself for a while. Jack is in Florida on business. He’s sworn off casual relationship, which is all he’s done in the past. He wasn’t looking for anything. But then he runs into Maddie. And they both feel a spark they can’t deny. They both wonder if it will be just a vacation fling, or something more. But they realize they are more connected than they thought. And that might ruin any chance they might have at a relationship.

I absolutely loved this book. Maddie is a strong character, and goes through a lot, but remains tough. Jack, is also strong. And puts Maddie’s needs first. This book was written wonderfully, and pulls you in from page one. Once you start you don’t want to put it down. It has laughs, love, tears, and lots of hot scenes, and a happy ever after. This is book three in the All In series, but can be read as a stand alone, but the series is so good, you need to read them all. I definitely recommend this book, and all of this authors wonderful books.

Wow!!! Thrilling!!! Sizzling!!! Super Sexy!!! A Must Read!!!

Author Maggie Cole never ceases to amaze!!! In this 3rd installment of the “All In” series Jack & Maddie are just two people who meet under unusual circumstances and find a connection with each that they’ve never felt with anyone. Not realizing they have more in common than they know they begin a romantic journey together. But can their romance be undeterred without roadblocks? They soon discover the depth of intrigue and horror that unfolds around them and will have to cling tightly to one another to climb the steep challenges that befall them. It’s an added bonus that the 2 previous heroines & heroes from books 1 & 2 are also an integral part of their story - still a stand alone read nonetheless. Totally thrilling story that will have you on the edge of your seat at times as well as swooning, laughing and crying. Highly recommended! Great job Maggie!!! Looking forward to the next book in the 6 book series.
**Disclaimer: Please be advised this story has some brutal scenes that might disturb the faint of heart or someone with emotional triggers.**

Talk about a Dream Man!!

The Crime is Book 3 in Maggie Cole’s All In Series... and what a series it’s shaping up to be.

Fresh out of a unhealthy relationship Maddie is in Tampa for a little R&R. By chance she happens to meet Jack and gets a glimpse of how Romance could be.

“God gave him dimples too”

That line pretty much sums up Jack. He’s amazing!

Jack is a very successful business man, who happens to be on a business trip in Tampa. Right place, right time and his worlds about to change forever.

Fate brings them together but fate also connects them to “The Crime”. Something so horrific it’s bound to destroy them.

I loved this book!! I really connected with Maddie and I think most women will. Her courage to step out on her own is admirable. Jack, Jack, Jack. What can I say about him. I loved his vulnerability, his passion to right a wrong, his willingness to put Maddie first, his determination and loyalty. He’s an incredible character and absolutely makes this story what it is.

Another 5 star read for this series!!

Another great book in this series. This one has some darker topics (no details) and deals with two people who have self esteem issues due to their past relationships. Maddy works for Liv and recently left her emotionally/verbally abusive boyfriend of six years. She literally bumps into Jack while on vacation in Florida. Neither are interested in starting a relationship but their attraction is immediate and powerful. Jack is working with the FBI to turn in one of his business associates who is in human and drug trafficking. That person happens to be Maddy's ex and there is a lot Jack cannot talk to her about because of the investigation. Maddy gets kidnapped and Jack helps save her. They have a lot of therapy to get through but they get their HEA in the end.

OMG! Maggie Cole has done it again ;-) They just keep getting better and better! This is the third book in the All In series and it does not disappoint. Like books one and two, the story sizzles with steam, heat and romance. The relationships are relatable and realistic. The storyline is captivating and interesting. The writing simply brilliant! I love how all of the characters are interwoven between each other....their lives are filling out more. You get to find out more about them, see their own relationships evolve and love them even more. And the new characters to the series do not disappoint and their relationship is off the sizzle charts! This is one of my all time favourite series that I have read. Bring on book four!

Hot and steamy🔥

The third book of the series. I actually like this more than the first two.
Jack Stevens and Maddie Burns met while vacationing in Tampa. Intense attraction at first sight and of course both have swore to no relationship and just casual! Of course it's never going to be casual as their affection had intensified after being together for few days.
I like that Maggie Coles' stories have social issues involved in the plot. It's not all hot and steamy scenes in each chapter ( but it is hot and steamy indeed 🔥) but a realistic and relatable story. It's also great that the characters from than previous series are present in this book. So I highly recommend this book and I suggest you read the series in sequence to get a better grasp of who is who.
Well done Maggie Cole ! Now off to the next one 😄

What happens on vacation may not always stay on vacation

The Crime is the third book in the All In Series and it has a lot going on but in all the right ways. This story centers on Jack and Maddie. They have a short fling while both are in Tampa, FL. She is there on vacation and trying to heal after just being out of a relationship that was verbally abusive and loveless. They have a strong connection and there is mystery and danger along with romance and sizzle.
This is another well written and entertaining book in the All In series. The story-line is nicely developed and the characters are wonderful.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

The Crime is the third book in Maggie Cole’s All In series and is a great read. The story includes Maddie, vacationing after a failed and abusive six year relationship, and Jack, who saves her from falling and injuring herself. They are both instantly attracted to each other, but Jack finds out they are connected by Maddie’s ex who is Jack’s crooked partner who he is planning on revealing as a thief. I recommend this book which contains unexpected twists and turns, drama, suspense, intense emotions, attraction, and sizzling romance.

Jack and Maddie!

Love this story of Jack and Maddie. Jack is a billionaire businessman that's been broken by his past and reliving the crimes he's helping the FBI investigate. Maddie is a writer fresh out of a terrible relationship and looking for a little independence and some fun.

What starts as a vacation fling turns into a thrilling ride as secrets are revealed and they learn just how much they have in common. Maddie pushes Jack to come out of his shell and live a little. Jack is trying to protect her from the investigation and the terrible people surrounding them.

There's so much in this book for everyone. Come for the romance stay for the twists and turns.

Jack & Maddie are both broken. Neither are looking for a relationship, yet when they literally run into each other they can't stop thinking about the other. Then chaos ensues and Jack protects Maddie even though he doesn't know her. They both are keeping secrets that could destroy one or both of them. Will the secrets come out in time to save them both or neither of them. WOW. Couldn't put this one down. Stayed up late just to finish it. Love the way Maggie writes..

The Crime is the third installment of the All In series by Maggie Cole. This book reeled me in as did the first two books. I immediately fell in love with Jack and Maddie. The characters are well-developed, and you see them evolve throughout the book. Yes, they fell for each other immediately, but the story continued for many months. As with the previous books, the secondary characters are an important part of the story. There is a sense of family with the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it.

Maggie Cole’s third novel of the All in Series, The Crime, opens with a shocking prologue about the titular event. As the love story between Maddie and Jack unfolds their relationship is tested and the reader is taken on a wild ride filled with twists and turns. The characters are once again well written and relatable, the romance is spicy and the story is a true page turner. Can’t wait to read the next novel in this series!

Maggie Cole takes you on a thrill ride as you follow Jack and Maddie as they overcome challenges to find a love worth fighting for. This book is a page turner as Maddie and Jack have an instant connection, steamy sex and pasts that may ruin their future. Can they each handle the truth? Can they believe in themselves? Will love conquer all? Read the Crime- it would be criminal if you let this entertaining novel go unread.

I keep saying the same thing about Maggie Cole books but it's all true! The third book is even better than the first two! Once again I was brought to tears. Her books have so much emotion! Not many do, but Maggie pulls it off, makes you FEEL it. What I love most is that the male characters are very manly but they also show their softer side and let their emotions out, I feel that it makes them more relatable.

Intense

Jack and Maddie’s story is hard-hitting. It’s a great story: steamy, great plot, suspenseful... it wasn’t like anything I had read before. The subject matter is intense, and while it is definitely relevant to today’s world and needs to be brought to light, some subject matter may be triggering to readers. In no way does this take away from the chemistry and love between these two characters. Definitely worth the read.

OMG..

Get ready for the tear jerking.. Like literally.. Jack is such a sweetheart, that I wish I could run in to him... This is not your love at first sight, hot sex and make up sessions. It's a triggered, dark road that happens to throw you through a loop. Maggie Cole... You are the best Author that has me on the edge of my chair, laughing, crying, blushing and all hot and bothered. I wouldn't have it any other way.. A must read series. You won't be sorry...

My Favorite - So Far

I thought I loved Tom and Collin, but Jack has taken their place! I love him and Maddie better than the other couples and Jack is just perfect. Loved the story, the sexual chemistry, the dialogue and personality of their relationship. Great writing and great friends and relationships amongst everyone. I hope the series remains a good one.
