Deviant Daddy much? I think so.
Sophie is trapped in her best nightmare of deprivation and humiliation. Jared sure knew how to push his little girl.
I loved this, not because of the daddy kink; it was fascinating reading about having no control while your captor was the one dictating when you eat, sleep and even when you get to ORGASM! ROUGH!

This is a VERY dark read, not for everyone.

My short review is... This book kept me totally engaged, played with my emotions and drenched my panties. Done.

A more complete review... This book touched on so many things that I like to read about in my "alone time" books. There was a total (I mean total) domineering Daddy Dom that was freaky warped and stayed to his character throughout the two books. He was a major perv through and through and for some reason it created love/hate feelings for him with both the h in the book and for yours truly.

I love reading books where there is a true TPE and does not deviate. This book scores a 10 on the Total Power Exchange factor...it was absolute. There were scenes with very creative bondage and kinky, punishment scenarios which were fun to read and many were extremely hot. The authors descriptions were so detailed (in a good way) that I could totally imagine (and feel) what the h was experiencing. I love when an author has that writing gift. At times the words jumped off the page and tickled me in all the right places. Smile.

I felt so sorry for the h at times that I nearly cried and at other times I wished that I was in her place. "That there is good reading." I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I enjoyed this 2 book series. (It only covered two days of captivity.) I agree with other reviewers that the ending could have been better, but I can also see why the author may have left it where she did. No spoils from me... Score 5 spank my ass stars and thank Daddy for the ride.

Another riveting book by Felicity Brandon!! Jared is totally obsessed with Sophie. At times I had to stop and do something else because there are some intense scenes in this book but before long, I was picking it up again. I like Sophie, she's a strong woman who is trying to figure all this out. I'm not quite sure how I feel about Jared just yet. At some points, I love him but at other points, I absolutely hate him. This is the second book in this series and yes, it ends on a cliffhanger. Hopefully it won't be to long before we get the next book. While this isn't really a "dark" book, it is very, very intense. And once again, Ms. Brandon took my mind on a wild ride I don't normally go on.

I'm giving this a 3.5. That's mostly because I really, really don't like Jared. I can often find some redeemable characteristic even in the worst characters, but I still haven't found anything like that with Jared.

I mostly like Sophie. There are times when I've wavered with her, but mostly I like her. I think that she is pretty strong to stay herself with everything going on.

It is a pretty intense book. There are some scenes that left me kinda gasping. There were a couple times I had to walk away from the book for a little while just to kinda catch my breath.

Wow I didn’t think the sequel could keep getting better but it just does. I mean holy sh*t this sequel is darker, steamier, more intense and more disturbing than the first. It is hard to put this book down I just had to keep reading. The book is amazing and completely naughty. Idk how Sophie does it sometimes putting up with Jared’s obsessive personality. He can be a little over controlling at times causing Sophie to slowly lose that spark and defiant personality she had.

It seems Jared is mostly concerned with his needs throughout this experience and Sophie is more like his prisoner who seems to enjoy some of the twisted demeaning situations he puts her through. This ending had me on the edge of my seat, what will happen next will Sophie finally break free of will Jared make sure she stays exactly here he wants her.

Mastered by Daddy is the second installment by Felicity Brandon about Jared and Sophie. You will be shocked and overwhelmed at this raw, dark and gritty story that will have your emotions in overdrive with each page you read. Jared's obsession with Sophie at times is confusing and disturbing as you want to know what has driven him to take Sophie as his captive. Sophie is finding her life will never be the same again as she is having a hard time mentally being a little and calling Jared Daddy. Jared is forcing Sophie to experience his dark desires through manipulation as he is trying to shape Sophie to be his little girl through bullying and depravity. But as much as Sophie's desires take over, the one constant battle she is having during her captivity is that she wants to return to her family. But Jared will never let her go as he is a harsh master with his punishments, humiliations and carnal acts as he wants Sophie to be his perfect toy. Sophie finds she is at war with herself as she can't understand how she could want all of the depraved things Jared is making her do. But with each act Jared is forcing Sophie to experience, her mind and heart is fighting him all the way as she knows that she needs to be free of him or she will be his captive forever, as Jared will never let her go Will Jared finally let his guard down giving Sophie the opportunity to escape? Mastered by Daddy will have you on edge from beginning to end and have your heart racing as you follow the deep anxiety and fear Sophie is experiencing regarding this lifestyle but Sophie still has fight left in her and plans to get her life back. Will she succeed? You are left asking yourself how is this going to end, what will happen to Sophie will she be Jared's captive forever or will she fight him till the end? Once again Felicity has taken her readers into this dark depraved world as only she can. Now we have to wait for the next book to find out how all of this plays out. Oh my, Sophie is caught in a trap. She secretly enjoys all the nasty things her kidnapper Daddy Jarred does to her but she knows she needs to be with her children. Jarred continues to play games with his little girl and keeps her on the edge. Sophie knows she will have to bide her time and when the opportunity presents itself she intends to take it. Ms Brandon has written another great one. This book is dark and not for the faint of heart. I can’t wait for the last book in this trilogy.

Down the rabbit hole...

Jared is wrong in so many ways, twisted, contolling, cruel, delusional, obsessive and more than a litlle crazy. He is like a bad accident that you can't look away from. He keeps you firmly in a grip of horror, fear, suspense, unable to walk away and ashamed of being so captivated by something so wrong.
Sophie is still paying for her original mistake, seeking a connection and "titillation" on line.
Slowly she is being pulled into Jareds version of reality that is supported by his accomplices.
But a spark of Sophie remains, one of courage and daring, but where will It take her and what are the consequences?

What a Great Sequel!

Wow! I can’t wait for Sophie and Jared’s story to continue. What a great Daddy book, lots of great sex, so much chemistry even though she’s not truly his. I actually didn’t see it ending the way it did, it leaves so much more for the next book. I’m so looking forward to more of these two characters and more sex between the two of them. Felicity is such a wonderful Author, you can’t put her books down. Loved it!

All I can say is WOW, the second book in Felicity Brandon’s trilogy Mastered By Daddy sure lives up to its title. I found it dark, sexy and huge compelling read, I was hooked from the first chapter to the end. I’m not sure how Felicity does it but the storyline just keeps getting better and better and I keep falling in love with her characters. Jared is such a Uber Alpha Daddy who adores his baby girl Sophie and I can’t wait to see how the story ends. Will they find their happily ever after, I sure hope so. I highly recommend this book to everyone they won’t be disappointed.

It’s short enough to read on your lunch break, long enough that your not left wanting more, Spivey enough you need to make sure your boss dosnt read over your shoulder and captivating enough to make you forget your at work.
Only issue is, it’s so good you end up buying the next book lol

If you like dark, depraved, and twisted stories than this is for you but read Daddy’s Little Captive first. Felicity Brandon is a master at writing tales that captivate you. Jared is so depraved and disturbed but just can’t help yourself and Sophie just can’t stop fighting.

Gift 🎁of daddy

Daddy is a master of passion, Jared is obsessive with Sophie that he came into her life, and taking her from all the people she loved especially her children who need their mother. Jared had no kids, he can't understand her feelings on the subject. He just want her to be his only 🌎 world, and she do the same for him. He want to love, protect, and worship Sophie. Jared is so intense, and sexy.Jared Skill in the art of desire, seduction, and worship. Fantastic novel.

When is the next one!!!!!

I can't believe I'm still reading this...

It hits a LOT of do-not-read for me ( age play, non-con, real asshole main character without much reedeeming qualities and excuses I can muster) but it doesn't stop me from turning to the next page.

I mean it's a little bit like when I'm watching a horror movie... It hits a good number of my triggers, I can't see how it could evolve into a HEA but I can't help but keep reading... just to see if Ms Brandon can pull it off...

Intense and Steamy HOT. This is both incredibly hot and quite disturbing and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! Jared and Sophie left us on quite a cliff!

DELICIOUSLY DEPRAVED.
This 2nd installment in Felicity Brandon's 'Dark Daddy' series lunges for your throat from the first page, sinks its claws DEEP & never lets the reader go.
Never.
Jared & Sophie's story continues, spiraling down further & further into dark & depraved lust, Jared with wicked glee & Sophie in horrified & shocked semi-compliance.
Jared's lust & excitement grow more intense as he subjects the captive Sophie to more & more of his depraved desires, sometimes nearly out of control with the emotional & carnal highs he experiences.
And Sophie continually seesaws between helpless rage & despair, her deeply submerged carnal desires & loathing at her mind & body's reactions to Jared's possession, humiliations, punishments & physical lust that drives her nearly mad.
Jared's only goal & aim: to possess his 'perfect little Sophie'. FOREVER.
But despite all the horror, trauma, confusion, danger, fear surrounding & encompassing Sophie's mind, there is something primal that lurks underneath that waits for Jared to make a mistake . . . .
The author is superb at yanking readers DEEP into the story, enthralling them with a main male character that did/does heinous things & yet keeps readers helplessly mesmerized. That keeps them on tenterhooks for the captive Sophie who has no chance to physically overcome the huge muscular Jared but does have the intelligence to acknowledge her only & best weapon is her mind. If she can only focus . . . .
This story is intense, loaded with triggers, deeply deeply dark, wickedly depraved, loaded with steam that literally sizzles off the page. It is also superb (for those able to handle the heat & triggers).
I predict once readers start this book they will gasp, wince, bite their lip, reach for a fan & ice cold drink but I don't foresee them being able to pull themselves free until the very last page.

And this intense saga continues... Mastered by Daddy is the second book in this series, the first being Daddy’s Little Captive. There is a third book coming that will complete the story. Reader be aware: this is not a book for the easily disturbed or those with triggers. I don’t have many so this book literally had me sitting on the edge of my seat, gasping aloud and enjoying every minute.

Jared, good lord, I hate and love this guy. He’s NOT a good man. He’s selfish and demanding and appears to be uncaring regarding some of the deeper issues that Sophie is dealing with. Sophie is torn between her desires and her responsibilities. The psychology of this writing is very intense and consuming. I won’t give away spoilers, but there are some things that Sophie cannot give up and if she did, I wouldn’t like her at all. I’m not sure how this series will end... a HEA? Lots to overcome to achieve that.

Felicity Brandon is an excellent writer of dark romance. She sure has my gut in a knot with this book, that’s for sure. I’ve got to see how this ends but I’m not sure my psyche can take it (just kidding). If you like excursions into the shadows, then this series is for you. Ms. Brandon has a masterful touch when it comes to this genre. Highly recommended if this is your “cup of tea.”

Sophie has been abducted from her own home. She is now living as a “Little Girl,” who must obey her “Daddy” at all times, or risk harsh punishments. Who is Sophie? Is this lifestyle her secret fantasy? What does her inner being really desire? Does Sophie abhor what she is forced to endure? Does she somehow crave it? What can she do to change her circumstances---if she wanted to?
I truly thought the denigration, humiliation, torment and even rewards could not accelerate, but I was wrong! They did! And Sophie hated it; or did she love it?
This book took me on a crazy ride full of intense and wickedly depraved experiences and even exposure to new situations. It is dark and erotic and full of conflicting ideas and reactions. OMG! I could not put this story down until it was finished. Felicity Brandon is an author who grabs your soul and takes you to places rife with emotional highs, lows and dense, deep emotional upheavals. I cannot wait for the next book from this author.

What an intense story. And make no mistake this is a dark romance Jared is not an actual daddy dom but a bully and Sophie rarely consents to the things that Jared makes her endure. So if any of that is not your cup of tea this is not a book for you. And because of that I have to give this book four stars instead of five. I like the story line and I don’t have an issue reading dark romance but there was a few scenes like the breakfast scene that just made me really hate Jared and it took me awhile after that to get back into the book and I was definitely routing for Sophie the whole time versus routing for a happy ending for them. That being said the book was interesting and I devoured in in a day which rarely happens. There’s lots of sex scenes that actually propel the story along with is nice as well as so many books often just use them as fillers for added steam. I liked this one better than the first book and judging by the ending I’m guessing there will be another book to come.

Did not finish. The first book in the series was engaging. I liked that it was set in England rather than the US. The setting enriched the story and added a nice class undertone. The whole abduction and forced submission had a wicked, taboo edge. Despite Jared's apparent criminality, I was rooting for him to rescue Sophie from her loveless marriage. And the kink was smoking hot.
I'm not sure what happened in this book, but it felt like filler between book 1 and book 3, just to stretch out the story into a trilogy. There was no arc to the characters. At 75% (where I gave up), they were in the same places emotionally as they were at the beginning. The story just felt stagnant. I gave up when I couldn't be bothered to find out where the cliff-hanger landed. I don't think I'll read book 3 because this book just didn't make me care enough about what happens to Sophie and Jared. Disappointing after the strong premise of book 1.

Oh my what a ride completely captivating with never a dull moment as Jared is one obsessed determined Daddy and puts Sophie through every humiliating scene and punishment known even you will second guess his sanity because he is not kidding so buckle up tight and prepare yourself for Daddy Jared.
I have to say he is one hot yummy man not sure if I truly like him but we will see and Sophie struggiling with her inner self is heartbreaking but she's strong and I'm routing for her.
This just pulls you right in with every word and scene and you can feel the intense power struggle, these characters are strong and do not give up and I don't know where it's going but I cannot wait to find out.

I am not a fan of cliffhangers...ever. But Ms. Brandon's books often end on one, with this one falling in that category, and I will GLADLY wait for the next one!!
Mastered By Daddy is Book 2 in The Dark Daddy Series. Jared and Sophie continue into their "relationship" of darkness. Jared continues to push Sophie, almost to her limits at times, but Sophie continues to take it. She is so completely confused on whether she should hate what is happening to her or crave it and desire the man who is doing it to her.
Ms. Brandon is by far one of my favorite dark authors. I will always read what she puts out and anticipate loving every minute. She is a master at weaving words and her readers will always be so captivated by what they are reading.

Sophie has one mission keep it together escape and get back to her family,she misses her children and they must be wondering where she is.
Jared just wants to keep Sophie and he knows in order to do so he must break her,and make her his forever.
Humiliation and his obsessiveness surrounds Sophie smothering her till she can't remember what she must do.
She needs a break a time when Jared is weak or forgetful giving her a small window of time to escape. When that time comes will she make it out or Jared's obsession with her make it impossible. This is a cliff hanger and I can't wait to take the rest of the ride

Jared and Sophie’s story continues but as Jared takes it to more extreme lengthens. Sophie starts to question why she is there and what is happening to her children. Jared at the same time thinks he has finally found his little girl. Who will win this debate will Jared keep his little girl or will Sophie’s thoughts of her children win. You’ll just have to read and find out but be prepared as it will keep you reading until the end well done Felicity

Ok first of all I would like to say that I do love Jared even as mean and dark as he is I still have the hots for him. But do we really have to wait for the next one? Now speaking of mean I'm going that Mrs. Brandon is a meanie just leaving us in suspense on what will happen next will Sophie be free or will she come to accept being daddy little girl? But all seriously it is a very intense and excited read! So I will be patiently waiting for the next.

This is so naughty that it makes you feel like you have to read in the dark with a flashlight so no one sees you. Jared is definitely not a daddy you want to make mad, he is fierce and makes you follow the rules. Sophie's conflicted in her mind and her heart with thoughts of her children and her wants for herself.
You will want to read the first book Daddy's little Captive so that the story flows.

This is the 2nd book in the series and wow... I thought the first one was dark, suspenseful, intense and steamy and this one just took it further. Once again the author sucks you in from the first page and keeps you reading. As with the first it ended with a cliffhanger that leaves you hungrily waiting for more
