Book One, Malice:
"This is Chateau Dahlia. A sanctuary for the twisted and depraved.”
.. This book. Natalie Bennett has an insane imagination when it comes to creative ways on killing off characters
Chateau Dahlia is a sanctuary for people to release their most darkest desires. You are allowed to create the most of vile and disgusting dreams or nightmares that you wish. Real live snuff films.
Enter Julian Andreou.
Our Villian.
Our wet dream.
“They weren’t a mafia family, and I wouldn’t consider them a branch organized crime. They were rumored to have a madness that ran in their blood.”
His family is.. different.
But then we meet Morgana. Who has her own inner demons. She is trying to figure out what happened to her sister Penny who disappeared while also dealing with her own mental health.
She gets tied up with having dinner with Julian. And he sinks his claws and teeth, and I mean physically, into Morgana so quickly that her every breath, he owns.
The more she learns about him and her own family, she unravels. Not knowing what’s real or what’s not, and not understanding Julians mental games he enjoys playing… she does end up running away.
“Keep running if you want to; I have good stamina. What you should worry about is what happens when I catch you.“
❌I’m just gonna throw it out there, if you have any triggers, this book isn’t for you. Snuff films are being made so there’s tons of torture and murder. Self harm, blood play, knife play, dubANDnon/con.. etc.
In true Natalie Bennett style, there is definitely a lot of mindfucking and mind bending.
“Did I willingly stay with a man who’s demons lurked in his eyes, or did I run away in the hope that he wouldn’t make good on his promise to catch me? “
I found the sex scenes to be somewhat graphic in detail. Definitely spicy. Morgana does end up covered in bites and bruises and in pain to even walk a lot. This is not a fluffy read.
The ending leaves off on a complete plot twist. And I am excited for the next book!

Book Two, Obscene:
“My version of a hero was incomprehensible to outsiders. I fell for a man with a pitch black soul and a charm so deceptive he could out with the devil.”
Book to goes forward in time where we meet mason who is Julian’s and Morgana‘s son from book one. He’s all grown up in his early 30s now and has had an infatuation with Katie who he has known since the day she was born. But he never sunk his claws into her until the time was right. And by right timing, I mean he knew that she wanted to take her life again, so he literally kidnapped her. Sounds familiar? This is Julian’s son after all.
“If I had to twist words and manipulate her for me to get what I wanted, and for her to be happy, I was going to.”
Mason knew that he would end up having feelings for Katie. And despite his oddities and “artistic abilities”, I found him to be on the sweeter side of the depravity that happens at the Dahlia. We don’t see much that goes on in the red rooms in this book because this book is really based around the “romance” and figuring out Masons twisted words.
Like Morgana, Katie’s sister also went missing and had a shitty home life.. so it’s a twisted game to figure out the truth and what has happened to everyone who’s gone missing.

Mason it’s charming and seductive and he uses sex as a weapon and tool to manipulate and have complete control of Katie. There is definitely nonANDdun/con involved. She starts off as an innocent and ends up falling down the rabbit hole of complete darkness.
This is a Twitter love story about a man going after the woman that he wants. And will say and do anything to keep her forever.
I absolutely love Mason. There’s just something about him that makes me forget about daddy Julian for a minute and appreciate just how much he loves his woman.

Book Three: Depravity
Helena, Ethan, and Declan.
This was one of the more gory books of the series so far. I definitely dry gagged on a few parts to be honest. But this was actually my favorite book of the series as well. So far.
Helena is completely twisted and mentally unstable. She finds herself needing “fix” people and her way of fixing people is quite unethical. she however finds Declan and Ethan who are two very attractive and dark bisexual guys who are looking for their perfect female to complete their relationship. The filling in their cake.
“Helena was practically begging to complete her metamorphosis. The seed was already there; it needed to be nursed for the beautiful petals of depravity to bloom fully.”
Helena has complete lack of any type of emotion. No one has ever seen her smile. And she’s been kept away from society from her abusive mother so she lacks basic knowledge on almost everything. When she goes and “fixes” her family, her supposed father that walked out many years ago comes and gets her and takes her to the Dahlia. And that’s basically where she meets Declan and Ethan who can see that she has a darkness inside of her that they are so excited to figure out.
These guys are completely drawn to her and absolutely infatuated with her.
“You know what we are? We’re family. Us three, where our own thing. We’re the endgame, we’re unique. We’re the vilest motherfuckers in this entire dinky town.”
Letting Helena have fun with her projects, they form a tight bind with eachother and despite what these guys do.. this is a romance.
You get MM/MFM/MMF.. the scenes are incredibly juicy. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Yes to an HEA. For the main characters at least.

Book Four: Malevolence
A second chance at love.

Morgana is alive. Like Julian, she survived the crash- The one that she fully intended on killing her and Julian. She however lost many of her memories and did not remember Julian or her son Mason. All these years a doctor, who is also a regular at the Dahlia, has kept her far away from her family. Until he personally felt like it was time to reunite them.
Honestly I think when my favorite part of this book is when he first meets her and before she took off her glasses, Julian said:
“What the fuck is she wearing? Is it homeless?”
Not only did he call her an IT, but this was just all Julian with his smart ass mouth. And it literally made me laugh for a good five minutes.
He has never stopped loving her though. And as twisted as this love story is, he fell right back into wrapping her around his own finger.
“ I wouldn’t let her go this time. And I would find a way to make her remember me and our son. She had loved me before and she would love me again, every tar black inch of my soul.”
And she does. Morgana learns to forgive herself for her past mistakes and also finds her old self with the darkness that lives inside of her too.
This was probably the fluffiest book I’ve read by Natalie Bennett but we absolutely get some scenes from the red rooms….
And of course these to immediately start jumping into fucking like rabbits because that is just who these characters are. And I absolutely loved it.

In Devil's Peak madness and insanity goes hand in hand. At Chateau Dahlia you'll find a place where all your sick desires can be fulfilled. Four deliciously dark novels in one. Malice, Obscene, Depravity and Malevolence will take you into the depraved world of the Andreous family. This is one of my favorite series by this author. If you love your stories pitch black with a side of carnage this is for you. By far one of the best dark romance series I've had the pleasure of reading. 🖤

OMG!! Finally a box set of the best twisted dark romance series is here! This series is so good I love every dark twisted emotional story that Natalie Bennett tells in this series ! From Julian and Morgana to their son Mason and Katie and Declan , Ethan and Helena this family of twisted psychopaths you can’t help but love and want to find out what makes them tick and by the end this author will have you rooting for them ! Read at your own risk this box set is only for those who love dark I mean pitch black dark romance .
Malice ***
This book ! OMG!! What a disturbing dark read this story was and can I just say Julian is hot AF!! I don't care how sick and twisted he is and his dimples gets me every time. And Morgana, poor poor Morgana! What a horribly sad ending . Morgana and Julian are definitely my new favorite twisted couple. This is definitely not a hearts and flowers romance . For those of you who like your reads dark this is the one ! Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

This series is so good ! Another great dark and morbid romance novel from the queen of dark romance ! This book will truly mess with your mind and will keep you guessing page after page ! I literally read this in one sitting once I sat down I did not get up until I was finished . This story was dark and disturbing and kept me off balance at times but was so good I couldn't do anything other than continue reading to find out what happened in the end ! Loved it ! Definitely 5 stars !

Loved it! Loved Declan and Ethan and I think Helena is perfect for them two ! Loved this threesome as a couple and I think they compliment each other in different areas and I think Declan and Ethan are exactly what Helena needs to teach her how to feel and to love and be loved .

OMG! The ending I've been waiting for is finally here! I love Julian and Morgana as a couple and I am so glad they both get the ending they deserve. Morgana finally comes to terms with her life and is reunited with her family that she was once trying so desperately to get away from. This is a great ending for a dark and twisted romance and if you like dark and twisted then this is definitely the story for you! But you have to start with the first book Malice as that is the beginning of Julian and Morganas story!
Definite 5 stars and definitely recommend!

This book is a TOTAL MINDFUCK!
Seriously, it’s all over the place but in the best way possible. There are so many secrets and twist that is going on behind the scenes that our heroine, Morgana doesn’t even have a clue about but the one person who does is the same person that is running this sideshow of malice, Julian Andreou.
Julian has a fixation with Morgana, a fixation with depths that we aren’t even truly aware of.
He’s the sadist that feeds her inner masochist making the demons in her mind stated, even if only for a little while...
Book #2 Obscene

Obscene centers around Julian and Morgana’s son, Mason Andreou and his “love interest” Katie Cormick.
Although Mason participates occasionally in the “red rooms” His real interest is his artwork. He fancies himself an artist… but the tools he uses and the “models” he uses for inspiration are quite… unique for lack of a better word.

Depravity is by far my favorite book from this series. This is where we meet Declan, Ethan, and their newest addition Helena. This book is an M/M, M/F/M, M/F read and it is SMOKIN HOT!
Helena has certain…desires and urges. She’s deemed “sick” and that sickness inside of her has been fighting to get out her whole life.

A big shout out to the author for giving us dark lovers an epic story of darkness. It sucked me right in and even just typing that has me wondering how can I possibly love a story like this.
I’m not gonna go into the storyline. If you love dark reads then just read this. You won’t regret it....or will you lol I lost track of how many wtf moments I had or wondered about my own sanity as I loved this story.
I seriously am in awe of this author. After finishing a book of hers I can’t help but sit in shock at the storyline she has brought to our lives.
This has just jumped way high into my favourite reads of this year. All I wanna do is go in for a re read and I rarely re read. So so good.

Mercy/Malice
Is it bad that I loved Julian's craziness? Is it bad that I wish Morgana was a little stronger? Don't get me wrong... I felt for her. She was struggling both mentally and physically. And she didn't know to deal Julian. He was always seemed to be five steps ahead. The sex scenes in the story was utterly explosive. Julian was the sadist. While Morgana was the masochist. They feed off each other.
The ending... Damn... The ending had to happen but I wanted more. The author creates dark twisted characters that you hate to love. She creates a story that sucks you in and feeds your dark heart.

Oh my god... Why did I take so long to read this?? I know Mason is crazy and twisted but for some reason I'm okay with his craziness. I loved his dark and wanted to know and understand his secrets. I loved Katie. She was trying to suppress her actual emotions but it kept coming into the surface. It was funny to watch. I was waiting for the happy times to stop and the truth to be revealed. There was no truth coming from Mason's end. He was telling small bits of truth, which was doesn't really count. The ending left me on edge. I'm moving on to book two and hoping for answers. Answers for Katie and myself.

Love Corrupted was quite fascinating. I loved how Katie was no longer fighting herself. She finally realized who she is and what she actually wanted and ultimately needed. Mason was still his twisted crazy self and I loved it. He never tried to change for Katie. He was who was meant to be. If you finished Love Obscene, you need to read Love Corrupted. It is an awesome conclusion for Mason and Katie.

When I saw characters from previous books, I couldn't hep but think that the gang was all here. The cast of characters were utterly twisted. For some bloody reason that made me love them more. They weren't normal. They were unique. They were absolutely sick. Helena was an interesting main character. She had felt nothing but wanted to fix things on a given occasion. Her version of fix... Well... Let me just say she was very imaginative.
Declan and Ethan were lovers as well as partners but they were still looking for the missing piece. They could easily see Helena being their glue. She could be their missing piece. I'm not going to say what did or did not occur between these three... Let me just say this. Once a group of sick individuals come together, anything is fair game.

This is the first time I’ve ever read this type of genre, and understanding it’s fiction, I was ok with that.
What I liked most about the series, is how the author humanised the abnormal traits behaviour of the main female characters.
Morgana was a cutter and a schizophrenic,
Katie-Kat, I don’t know what label is applied to her, but she had deep seated dark tendencies,
Helena has alexithymia, an inability to express emotion and empathy. She is my favourite.
The men in their lives, Julian, Mason, Declan are from the Andreou family, and Ethan. Their family business is streaming snuff. Torture. For the most part, these guys are sane, just slightly off kilter. The women they fall for are “perfect in their imperfections”.
Bennet handled the tragic start of these girls lives and evolved them into strong women who eventually embraced themselves and learned to love their uniqueness. No one more so than Helena. In book 5, not a part of the box set, speaking to Declan, she says ...
“Because of you, I know I can be strange and different, and someone will love me no matter what.”
Declan’s reply ...
“You don’t need to be anyone other than who you are right now. You’ve always made sick look beautiful”

Malice book#1 in the Dahlia Saga. It was dark, twisted and a little disturbing. I really liked it. I loved Morgana. I liked Julian at times but not much. Morgana and Julian had an intense, twisted and obsessive relationship. I was not expecting that ending!
Obscene book #2 - I really liked it. It was dark and twisted. Mason is Morgana and Julian's son from the previous book. I loved Mason and Katie! Looking forward to reading more!

Natalie has definitely earned the title of Queen of Darkness! I cannot tell you enough how much I enjoy the Dahlia saga. And it’s not over!
It’s dark, its twisted, its mind blowing. You literally fall for the bad guys. There is no other way to put it. You fall hard for the villain. Sure Julian would burn the world down for Morgana but he won’t think twice to run anyone else over and backup just for funzies. Hahaha. This boxset is a delight. You get to know the Andreous family and how they work. Every story, every page…just sucks you into the crazy. I LOVE IT. If you like dark and twisted….this is your story

This series is brilliantly dark and twisted yet still endears the anti-heroes to the reader. There is of course romance and more than a splattering of filthy sex! The stories flow well and there is plenty of intrigue, with well developed characters and great world building. My only criticism would be the editing (hence only 4 stars), as there are typos, missing words and grammatical errors throughout.
A word of warning, these books are not just dark they are pitch black so if you are a sensitive soul they may not be for you.
I will be going on to read further books associated with this series.

The twisted minds of the world of the Dahlia books are amazing!! I get shocked and surprised at every turn. This set includes the first four titles.
"This is Chateau Dahlia. A sanctuary for the twisted and depraved.”
Exactly as Julian says. Twisted and depraved in all four. The work up by Natalie Bennett is the best of all. Character building piece by piece, inside and out. Dark minds are something I enjoy reading and this author does them magically.

What can I say except "All Hail the Queen of Darknesss and Deliciousness". You must have this box set in your series. Julian and Morgana is in Book 1. Katie and Masin are in book 2. And Helena, Declan, and Ethan are in book 3. With this book, you have all three in the same place. Dont get me wrong, each book has it's own sadistic nature. But put all together makes it so much more deeply depraved. I loved it!

This is a deliciously dark series that just hit the spot for me. Once you start with Malice which is the first book there is not putting it down. You will end up on one hell of a book binge wanting to read them all. You love all the characters but Helena is my favorite. Have a read and let me know of you agree. This box set has some of the darkest romances I've read. They're twisted, bloody, and so so good. I am so intrigued by Chateau Dahlia, I get completely sucked in. It's dark, dirty, gory, and graphic and I loved immersing myself into their depraved world.

I absolutely love that Julian is so unapologetic in what he enjoys; he knows right and wrong but chooses his own path. The sadist in him feeds the masochist in Morgana.
Obscene
I love Mason and Katie's story. I really enjoyed trying to figure Mason out; while he is brutally honest, he's not forthcoming with information and has his secrets. He is definitely his father's son.

This is definitely dark and some parts it's difficult to process. But even with all that darkness it was still a very enjoyable reading Mason and Katie story.
Depravity
Oh wow just wow! If the other ones in this series were out of this world. I think I just came across one that it just might be way beyond. In the others the women were fighting what they are but Helena that girl she embrace what she is and in some wierd way it was a beauty.
Malevolence
Love this conclusion to Julian's and Morgana story. It definitely had a happy ever after in their way but it was much better ending then of their first story.
Malice
What a read I had with this two twisted souls. They definitely had a sad and corrupted relationship. it was in some parts difficult to read but at the same time it was a excited, intense and an interesting read.

This is a FREAKING amazing series of utter darkness, depravity and brutality. Not to be missed by dark romance fans.
Each story in this series takes you on an emotional journey of intense wickedness and utter darkness. The characters are fascinating - each with damaged souls. The love between each character is definitely not your typical gushy love story - it's gritty and raw and will throw you down the rabbit hole!
The whole series us utter perfection! This amazing author knows just how to write stories that titillate us and call to our darker sides. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for her next amazing read.
