"Absolutely perfect. No one does angels like Joel Crofoot."Sometimes we are our own worst demons.Tired of being treated like a child by the Archangels, Hamal is searching for autonomy, and he meets a someone that may be able to help him prove himself, but is he really ready for this kind of battle? As an incubus, Ornias has spent thousands of years being viewed as a parasite among other demons. That, and a bad history of angelic encounters make him wary to trust any angel, but this one seems different. He should know better though, shouldn’t he?A new breed of demons is trying to enslave human women in order bolster their demonic race. Can Hamal stop them in time or will Ornias betray him to maintain the security of the life he knows, rather than venture into a love that could be risky?
Joel Crofoot was raised in northern New York state on a large family sheep farm, then left home to join the United States Marine Corps at 18 years-old. After spending four years in Japan as a radio operator, Joel re-enlisted into the bomb squad (explosive ordnance disposal) and was stationed out of California. Two tours to Iraq later, Joel decided to leave the Marine Corps to pursue higher education and graduated with a doctorate in psychology in July of 2017. In Joel's books you can expect a good mix of military experience and psychology wrapped into paranormal tales that will leave you wanting more!
I've been a big fan of this angel series since the beginning. This next installment doesn't disappoint, following one of the younger angelings instead of the older ones like Gabriel and Michael. All of the stories have steamy romances mixed together with great action stories. This m/m romance was expertly written and I loved both characters.
Hamal is young but he knows his own heart. Determined to prove he has what it takes and find his place among the others, he sets out to stop the enemy. When he meets Ornias, there's no denying the chemistry and attraction that instantly ignites. Ornias is an incubus demon with a past. Finding love and acceptance has been a dream he's chased for centuries. Their explosive passion lights up the pages of this novel.
Another amazing addition to the series! Highly recommended.
Wow! Talk about hot and passionate! Who knew Angels & Demons could have such relations? There's a great story to go along with all that heat too! Joel Crofoot is a master at writing intimate scenes whether lustful or love based. A true one-click author for me when it comes to romance!
Well, that was kinda different from what I usually read, but then again, kinda not. I had the sample on my kindle for a while, when I saw it something about it drew me. So it sat there, ignored while I picked other samples, then I decided to give it a try, and I loved it! It’s good to try something new, you never know what you’ll enjoy. The characters were all well written and likeable, especially the two main men. There’s something about a good guy and a bad guy hooking up that’s quite irresistible.
Hamal's Dancer is one of the Best M/M romances I've read in quite sometime. Joel Crofoot is an amazing author, who hooks the reader in from the very first page and doesn't let go, until the very end. I Loved Ornias and Hamal's story! What's not to like about an Angel and a Demon setting aside their differences for, love?
Hamal is tired of being the youngest Angel in training. Everyone treats him like a child! Needing a breath of fresh air to clear his head, he enters a club one night and finally meets someone who just might take him seriously.
Ornias is an incubus who moonlights as a dancer in a gay bar. It's the perfect opportunity for him to suck the very essence out of the patrons who frequent the bar. Until, one night, he meets a man who captures his attention. Now, he will stop at nothing to find him once again.
If you love a fantastic Paranormal Angel romance, then grab this book! Five Stars!!
What greater conflict could there be than an angel and a demon? Despite who they are, Ornias, a demon, and Hamal, an angel, are attracted to one another in a bond so strong they are unable to resist. But their attraction, no matter how steamy, isn’t enough. Ornias carries thousands of years of baggage, including an unpleasant past with the archangels. Hamal has his own “demons,” including the need to prove his skills as an angel. This deep-rooted need puts both himself and Ornias in danger, but in the end, Ornias and Hamal’s angel family save Hamal. Ornias heals and transforms after a visit from an unexpected source.
Hamal’s Dancer is a beautifully written story that reminds us souls are souls (whether human, angel, or demon,) and you love who you love. Highly recommended for those who enjoy angel, paranormal, and/or gay love stories.
I read this book as part of a box set called Prophesy of Magic. I enjoyed the story so much I had to post an individual review for it. If you haven’t read anything by this author, you must. Though the books follow on from each other, each has its own unique tale and concentrates on a different main character. The books are addictive, the characters stimulating and the writing great. The author makes you feel as though the people really exist and you live the stories with them. They also make you go through a number of different emotions as you read. This one is no exception
I really loved this sweet love story between a young angel and a much older demon. It's fast-paced and sweet, and it has all the feels! I love this series, and while I'm reading it completely out of order, it doesn't seem to matter much to the entire outcome or the individual stories themselves, at least not so far. I really love the way the story is character-based, and it flows wonderfully from moment to moment. There's plenty of description, but you don't get bogged down in it, so that it really moves well. I highly recommend this one, along with the rest of the series!
I've read every book in this series so far, so I was excited to pick this one up. Hamal doesn't get a lot of attention in the previous books, so I was glad to see him get an entire book. This one doesn't disappoint. It makes me wonder if Ornias is going to rise later in the series. The beginning of the series followed the older angels and this one follows one of the younger angels. I'm hoping to see more of the younger angels as the series progresses.
Ornius is a sucubus that works as a dancer in a gay club to feed. He is tired of this life but he must feed to stay alive. Hamal is an angel looking for companionship. He finds Ornius after following some men to the club. They end up becoming lovers and Ornius helps with a case the angels are on. This is a complicated, sexy romance between an angel and a demon. Gender doesn't matter when it comes to love. Wonderful and uplifting. If they can unite then the we can too.
I loved this book and now have to go get caught up on the rest of the series. Hamal was sweet and Innocent and Ornias was just as sweet even as he tried to cover that tender heart
Awesome storyline; drama, action, suspense. While Hamal wants to prove he is not a child, he finds love, but with women being taken by gremlins for their nefarious purposes. Orian feels he is not worthy and disappears. Wrll written easy to follow.
I stopped reading this book bc with all due respect the cover is misleading. I went in thinking that I was going to be reading about a romance between a black man who's an angel and a white guy who's an incubus. But as far as I read there was NO black guy described... One guy (Ornais) is supposedly from the Middle East (who might be of mixed ethnicity). And though I suppose he could be from a North African country the distinction wasn't implied and he is described as tanned (but there's a dark-skinned black man on the cover). And the other (Hamal) who's apparently white (I'm only guessing bc he blushed deep red). Why do authors continually do this to get books sold? They market their books as interracial and go as far as to put a black and white guy on the cover when clearly the book is nothing of the sort. I'm getting so exhausted with this ploy.
YES. THAT IS DEFINITELY A BLACK MAN ON THE COVER BUT WHERE IS HE IN THE BOOK?!? AUTHORS: PLEASE STOP RACE-BAITING READERS FOR THE SAKE OF MONETARY GAIN! UGH!!!
This was a good book. I felt for Hamal because he felt out of place, Ornias did too in his own way but these two found contentment together. Ornias made a lot 9f rash decisions because of his past but they are able to work everything out in the end.
I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review
