She is a normal girl, but she has the "eye of death" and she can see the mortality rate of other people. When he suffered this she tried to kill himself many times, but she could not die! Upon hearing his call, the god of death came. However, even death does not help her. What kind of spark will be the initiation between the girl who wants to die and the god of death who will kill her? What kind of secrets are hidden behind the skill of the girl? ... Dancing with the god of death is a deadly temptation that can not be resisted?
A bit of a slow start, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I enjoyed the story. Grim reaper and a human. The human wants to die because when she touches people, they inch closer to death. The grim reaper shows up to grant her wish, only to lose his sword inside of her body. He can't kill her without his sword and slowly his magic starts ebbing away. Eventually he'll die if he doesn't get his sword back. They fall for each other, which is forbidden, because a grim reaper and human offspring make a demi god that siphons grim reaper magic to stay alike. And guess what she is? Just when she decides that she doesn't want to die, she finds out that she is killing the love of her life simply by being alive. What's a girl to do but something drastic?
Honestly, I didn't like Raven all that much at first, because he felt so one-dimensional. Thank goodness there was at least some growth. The banter is cute, but be warned that there are a lot of heavy themes. Ending is suitable.
But really, what made me like this most is that this manhua is so coherently written. I don't know if I just have bad manhua exposure, but this one flows smoothly per chapter. There are no confusing skips in the timeline (at least, as far as I remember). Also, the art style is IMMACULATE. gurlie is saur pretty
Started it because I LOVED the character designs, and it seemed like a cool premise. However, the plot itself jumped all over the place to the point where I was so confused on what was happening. The characterization is pretty shallow, with generic sad backstories being half-hearted attempts at creating character depth. The real saving grace is the romance, because Raven and Mystie are both good-looking. Raven comes off as a sadist in the earlier chapters, but it was pretty hot ngl.
Love this story. I like how the illustrator depicted the characters with animals. So adorable. The chibis are too endearing as well. 😁😄 There were a few inconsistencies that I could simply let it slide. The only thing that bothered me was, if Mian Lian was born 3000 years ago (chapter 56), then how did she become 18 years old on Earth? Did her father time travel or something?
