Cleo is the rebel in her family and doesn't want to shift just because their Alpha demands it. So she is a few years passed when she should've shifted for the first time. When she is at the park with her sister she notices Zane playing football with some other shifters. She's had a crush on him for a long time but never thought he would be interested in her for obvious reasons. However one night during a party they both leave separately and end up in the same spot. They spend some time talking and Zane knows that he wants to know more about her. After going out several times with Zane she decides she's ready to do her first shift on her own terms. However she was never told that she shouldn't do it on her own and when she awakens after shifted she learns that their Alpha was killed nearby where she was. Did Cleo kill the pack alpha by accident? What does this mean for her and Zane?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Cleo has refused to have her first shift to the dismay of her family and pack. Zane is inexplicably drawn to Cleo but is too afraid to talk to her. On the night of the final high school football game they give in to their connection. When the pack leader is killed, it is up to Zane to take over the pack and he wants Cleo to be by his side. However, Cleo thinks she may have been the one that killed his father.

A really quick & spicy shifter romance. 💞💓🐺💞

Cleo is a wolf shifter who has refused to go through her first shift. She doesn't want to just join the "pack mentality" and have to go along with everyone else in their pack. But after she falls for Zane, the pack leader's son, she's not so sure about her convictions. But what happens on the night she finally accepts who she is and shifts no one could've predicted. 💗🔥💕

I really enjoyed this short story, it’s the second book I’ve read by this author and I am really beginning to enjoy how she tells her shifter stories. This one is about a pack of wolf shifters and is filled with intrigue and sees two seemingly very different characters get together. Cleo and Zane’s relationship is far from easy and has a lot of turmoil and drama in it as the author takes the reader to the books conclusion.

Short but, well written story. This story is about Cleo and Zane. Cleo does not embrace who she is and what she is. She is laughed at alot. Zane is attracted to her. They connect at the high school football game. His father is killed and Cleo looks to be the killer. What will happen to Zane and Cleo? Who is the killer? You got to read to find out. I really enjoyed this read.

Cleo and Zane

This was an excellent short paranormal read that pulled at the heart strings. Cleo the strong willed girl who refused to conform and Zane the alphas son who until he ventured to talk to her was in part a part of the pack mentality she despised.
If you like the genre then this is good book to read.

Great Story

I really enjoyed reading about Zane and Cleo. I liked the fact that Cleo didn’t “turn” until she was ready mo matter the treatment she had to endure. I also liked that Zane was understanding and accepting of who Cleo was and didn’t attempt to change her. This was a great love story and showed how opposites attract. I would definitely recommend this book.

These Short Stories Get Me Every Time!
