I want more, more, more...
Its Officially! I now know Jenna Jacob can write red hot rock stars. In Rock Me Harder, I not only loved Tori and Darren, but I am OBSESSED with them. The way they meet (backstage after the concert) is the reason why rock star themes and characters are my catnip.
The way their one-night stand progresses into forever was perfection. Together they fall fast and hard with one another. Living a life only partial fulfilled because the other piece of their heart is missing.
This perfect love story has everything to check on my list of must haves: funny moments, perfect bandmates, and of course red-hot sex.
Darren Ash is tortured and damaged and down right drool worthy from losing contact with Tori. He is determined to win her back despite having his heart broken by her.
What I love about this couple, is they are both strong willed. So, when they finally feed their passion, they become explosive. Tori was a little naïve to think life will be normal again in her small hometown and Darren waited to long to whisk her away from the paparazzi. He should have taken charged of the situation sooner.
Worth a re-read. Yes, absolutely! Plus, I am counting down the days until Book #3 Ozzy’s story in Rock Me Slower….

I've been an enormous Jenna Jacob fan from the earliest days of her incredible career--but I swear by a thousand guitar picks, there's just SOMETHING about the Licks of Leather series that has captured my younger, rock fangirling heart and will not let go.
This beautiful, original take on the hidden baby trope is blended with everything I most want and need from a rock god book. There's an unforgettable one-night stand, a press scandal gone wrong, plenty of horny groupies, and--ohhh yes--in true Jenna Jacob style, a toddler eye's view of a "chest autographing" gone completely t**ts up!
Between all of the fast-paced mania, a love story unfolds between Darren and Tori that had me sighs-deep in their unforgettable passion and "forever" connection. What a wonderful read!! I cannot get enough of these lickable, luscious men and their bold, beautiful heroines!

The second book in the series, but if you haven’t read the first book you will be able to follow the story. The story is about the guitarist Darren and it mostly shows the hard part of fame and that is having no privacy and being harassed by the press and certain fans.
There are no BDSM elements in this story and it is a bit of a slow burn, but it is a wonderful story of two people reconnecting and overcoming difficulties. Showing different lives with a common goal.

Wow this book had HEAT ..from the get go!! I love the way jenna jacob wove Darren& Tori story! Again wounds / guilt kept her from opening her heart in the beginning! Darren made me Luv Dustin even more what an awesome relationship .. Darrens heart is huge to forgive the stab in the back it’s love fantastic read! 💜📖🖤💜📖🖤💜📖🖤

Wow! What a line! The difference, he means it. Darren can't forget his one night stand. He took her virginity, she left him with nothing but lies. This was an excellent second chance romance with a ton of sizzle!

As a fan of rock star romances I found myself quickly captivated by Darren and Tori in a story that stands strongly on its own. Ms. Jacob crafted a hero with a big heart living in a world full of superficiality and introduced him to a strong-willed woman who sees the man behind the fame. Theirs is a journey full of heart and soul and with each turn of the page I cheered even harder for them to reach their HEA.
Darren Ash had a life-altering one-night stand two years ago, an encounter that he still can’t stop thinking about. To the outside world he embraces the benefits of fame, but behind the rock star facade no other woman can match the one who left him without a way to contact her. Finding her now gives him the chance to claim her once and for all, gives him the chance to make his heart whole, but it also makes him discover some secrets that he might not be able to forgive in a romance full of emotional highs and lows. Darren’s a delicious hero who’s not your typical rock god. He’s not interested in groupies as he wants something meaningful in his life and it’s his two year hunt for the one who got away that endeared him to me. Darren often wore his heart on his sleeve too and I liked getting the early insight into his heart as it made him all the more likable. Though Tori’s secret hurt him he didn’t hold a grudge for long and I liked how quickly he was able to embrace the truth and take on a protective role in proof of his devotion.

From the moment she met him she felt their crackling connection, a connection no other man has been able to engender in her since. The glitzy and glamorous world he lives in intimidates her though and makes her feel like she doesn’t fit in. To find their HEA she’ll have to brave that world with him being her support every step of the way. Tori’s a strong-willed heroine, one who cares deeply for family, and her devotion to them made me like her all the more. Though the secret she kept from Darren was big, she didn’t keep it to be hurtful. She made the best decision she could at the time considering the hardships thrown her way and I applaud her picking herself up and dusting herself off in living with this big secret.

Darren and Tori both had big hearts, hearts they weren’t afraid to show to the other which ultimately cemented their bond. Their romance was both sweet and sexy and I enjoyed seeing their feelings evolve as I became further invested in their HEA. Surrounding this likable main couple was an equally entertaining cast of secondary characters. Tori’s dad was a loving man, protective of her and wanting her to finally start living her life, and he was a strong support throughout the story. Darren’s bandmates were memorable as well, playful with a bit of crassness that reminds you that boys will be boys as they gave as good as they got in their banter with one another. Ms. Jacob did a wonderful job in depicting the rock star world with all its sweat and sensuality. She also showed the chaos of the fandom, the invasions of privacy, that Tori had to deal with and that brought out Darren’s protective side. On a whole this was an enjoyable romance with characters I cheered for. I also shed a tear or two along the way while Darren’s forgiveness warmed my heart and helped tie the ending up in a beautiful bow. Fans of rock star romances shouldn’t waste another minute in adding the Licks of Leather series to their bookshelf as its charming and sexy bandmates will quickly captivate you!

ROCK ME HARDER, book two in Jenna Jacob's LICKS OF LEATHER series, was every bit as good as the first. Jenna is most certainly rocking my world with these amazing men. This time it's Darren Ash's turn.

It is obvious that the chemistry between Darren and Tori hadn't diminshed over the past two years, but is there more than chemistry that will keep them together?
This is a story of passion, family, love, understanding and new beginnings. It was addictive, one that definitely had me wanting to keep the pages turning. I can't wait for the next book, Rock Me Slower, which is Ozzy's story ... now that one is going to be interesting.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Tori Elizabeth Combs and Darren Ash. On night was all these two had before she was gone and Darren felt like something more like someone was missing from his life for the last 2 years. He has never forgotten that night and will do anything to get back the woman of his dreams. He looks at Burk and Sofia (who we met in Rock me Longer) and knows after seeing them that he can have true love and he deserves it. Now if only he could find the woman who holds his heart. Tori left with more than amazing memories after that night she left with a piece of Darren he knows nothing about. There are so many times she wants to let him know but she believed it was for the best. To bad for her not only did he give her their son that night but he kept a piece of her heart with him. When Darren comes back to claim his woman and finds his child as well will they get that HEA or will it all blow up in their faces.
This author writes stories that not only will get you hot they will grab your heart and not let go but will also have you connecting with her characters emotionally. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Darren Ash is the lead guitarist for the rock band Licks of Leather. On the outside, it looks like Darren has it all. However, Darren is still thinking about the night he spent with a woman that disappeared the next morning never to be seen again. Darren hires a private investigator to find her but nothing has turned up. He also found out the name she gave him wasn't real and he also realized that she betrayed him.
Tori Combs still can't stop thinking about the night she spent with Darren Ash and what she did afterwards. She knows that she needs to move on but at least she has something of Darren's that she treasures forever. She never expects Darren to show up at her door 2 years later! Darren is surprised by what he finds when he gets to Tori's house and is shocked. But he recovers and wants to be a part of her life.
IT takes a while but Tori realizes that she loves Darren and hates what she did to him but she had her reasons. When Darren demands answers, she tries to avoid it but it all finally comes out. Darren spends time with Tori's family to get to know them better but once the paparazzi finds out where Darren is and the secret that he and Tori were hiding, they come out in force to get the scoop. Tori gets to see the real Darren and not the Rockstar and when she meets his family and his band family. But will Darren trust her not to hurt him again.

A swoon-worthy, second chance, rock star romance!
Years ago, due to extreme circumstances, Tori Combs ended up backstage at a Licks of Leather concert and caught the eye of guitarist Darren Ash. They spent an incredible night together, after which Tori virtually disappeared. Neither of these characters ever got over the other and Darren spent years searching for Tori...until he found her.
Although this is the second book in the series, you don't need to have read the first book to enjoy this one. Characters from the first book make an appearance, but you can figure out who got their HEA. As I stated in the review of the first book, I love the guys in the band and their smart ass banter. They completely crack me up and I can't wait to read the rest of their stories!
Also, the author usually writes BDSM romance, but this specific book did not contain those elements. I would highly recommend this to any romance fans - especially those who love sexy rock stars!

A passionate heart! With the second book in her Licks of Leather rock star series, Jenna Jacob brings us Darren's story. This was my favorite in the series so far ... not only does it have a passionate love story, but it has a major case of feels as well.
Darren Ash is the lead guitarist for Licks of Leather and has been laying low mooning over a one night encounter for more than two years now. Ms. Jacob rocks it again with the second book in her Licks of Leather series. Darren and Tori had one night together but it was enough to leave a very lasting impression on both of them. He can't get over her and spends the next two years looking for her. At the same time, Tori has never dated since that night but she also knew she wouldn't fit into his world. Besides, he would hate her if he knew what she did! When he finally finds her, his world is literally rocked to the foundation from the secret she has kept from him. Will this draw them together or drive them apart? Especially when he hears the "whole" story. I loved Tori's father, Ed, and look forward to maybe reading more of him and Gail? There were times I teared up and times I got angry. (really wanted to b#%ch slap a few fans) This series just gets better with each book and I can't wait to see what happens next!!! Well done, Ms. Jacob......I'm hooked on your Rockers.

This is book 2 in the series, and I’m telling you, each one is going to be amazing! This time, it’s Darren’s story, guitarist extraordinaire, and nursing a crushed heart. After a soul searing night with the woman he truly connected with, he woke up to her gone in the morning and no way to contact her. Two years later after much searching, he finally finds her, along with quite a few secrets and a lot more questions. Tori, who has also been nursing a crushed heart every day since she walked out of his hotel room, wants nothing more than to be with Darren and have him be a part of EVERYTHING (see what I did there? That’s a big hint letting you know there’s something big without telling you 😉). I LOVED this! I completely fell for Darren 😍😍😍. He’s loving and amazing and down to earth, not your typical rock star. And Tori, she is fierce and loyal, and will do anything for her family. Again, LOVED this!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Rock Me Harder. It was so easy to be caught up in this love story. It has fabulous characters including an adorable 18 month old who will steal your heart. A fantastic storyline with some angst just to keep it interesting and hot steamy moments that will make you want to fan yourself. It just all works!

This was my first Jenna Jacob book and wow! I loved Darren and Tori. Darren may be a rock star but he is grounded and very real. Tori has been forced to make some tough decisions in her life and as her story unfolds it is easy to see why she did what she did. Jenna created a wonderful story full of forgiveness, hope and love. I had to go back and download Book 1 I want to know all the band members stories. Can’t wait for more of this series.

That one night between Darren and Tori was electric, but who knew that it would give both their lives new meaning. Rocker Darren was betrayed after a night of bliss. Over 2 years he searched for his "Elizabeth". Who knew when he found her he would encounter his mini me. With so many an answered questions Darren needed the truth. Tori has to face the reality that her life would never be the same. She would always be in the spotlight after her night with Darren. This book is amazing. I read it in 2 hours. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended.

Loved loved loved this story! I couldn’t put it down. It was one of those stories where you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop and thankfully it never did, at least not the way you expected. I loved Darren, he’s so cool handsome and sexy, to hear he didn’t want to be with anyone after meeting his soul mate had me tearing up. Tori had done things to save her dad that she wasn’t proud of but if she had to do it again for anyone in her family she’d do it again in a heartbeat. She’s strong and beautiful, this story has it all. I give it five wholehearted stars and recommend it highly.

Loved this book. Darren/Tori and Dustin are great, my new favorites. Licks of leather series is getting so much better. It was great with the first book of rock me longer but now it fantastic with this story. To see that both of Darren and Tori were pining for the other and then to see how Darren is with Dustin. Who could ask for more. I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. Jenna Jacobs has not disappointed.

I struggled with this one at first I really didn't like Darren but he did grow on me lol. Tori was sweet maybe a little naive to think that her life wouldn't implode when people found out about her and Darren. He is definitely a take charge guy but it took him longer than I would have thought to make it there. These two do have insane chemistry and it is almost mindblowing. I will say the 18 month old pretty much stole the show for me.

Jenna Jacob did amazing job with this book. It is amazing wll written. The characters have such a amazing connection. You get wrapped up in your feels and wanting more! I would highly recommend this book!

She left the father high and dry in his sleep and he has no clue as to how to get in touch with her. Until one night he shows up at her door. The rock hottie that she can't forget, the man that every other man can't live up too. Now, he knows the truth, but does this mean that he will forgive her? Can they have a second chance?
This was an ok second chance story. I was a bit more distracted by the fact that the timeline was off, two years since the one night they spent together, and she has an eighteen month old? Add to that, he spoke and acted like an older child, like a three year old. Of course this comes with a fair amount of drama and when they are not interrupted, some nice naughty moments. I give this 3.5 stars.

Sizzling hot rock God Darren Ash meets super sweet and sexy Tori. But, the next thing he knows she is gone and he's spent the last 2 years searching for her. Tori was caught in a hard spot and didn't know what to do. Her father was sick and medical bills were looming. She did something she wouldn't have ever thought she'd do. Never thinking that she'd see Darren again she coveted the piece of him that she had left. But, Darren comes crashing back into her life again. Naughty and Nice collide and Darren finds more than forgiveness in his heart for his sweet Beauty. Absolutely love this series. It is so well written with amazing characters and words so hot they melt off the page.
