Whoa! This was so freaking hot. So hot.
I'll take a Maxim any day all day. I haven't read many vampire books. I don't have anything against them, I've just never been drawn to them much. But this is Dani Wyatt and you can't NOT read a Dani Wyatt book.

This was sexy, obsessive, one-and-only possessive goodness!
Seleme (weird name) is half human, half vampire and she meets human Maxim days before she comes into her full immortality and powers, and days before she has to marry into the pure blood vampire family that protected her and her family.
When Seleme and Maxim each see each other, they're completely obsessed. And when they actually meet, there is nothing that will come between these two. There is no power struggle, no dominating crap about who is the strongest in the relationship, or even macho shit that happens in most PNR stories when -gasp- the heroine is literally stronger than the hero! This story was the MCs not being able to go I without each other and fighting all the forces that try to keep them apart.
Maxim's complete obsession and devotion to Seleme was panty-melting hot, and my absolute favorite part of this book. Plus, double virgins! Jackpot.
Definitely recommend

Something alittle different in my vamp stories a woman being half vamp and the guy full human..

I raised my expectation too high about Vamp, when it comes to paranormal books, I expect certain vibe. And sadly, that vibe was lacking in this story.

This was a tasty bite of goodness! Maxim is totally OTT! I love he and Seleme together! Seleme is quite sassy, they are perfect for each other. Anna almost stole the show in her scenes. HEA and great future scenes!

This was an awesome paranormal, fast-paced, intense love story by this fantastic author :) I absolutely loved Maxim and Seleme together! Their chemistry was off the charts hot and their ending was beautiful too <3

Delicious smut romance with all the trimmings: obsessed alpha male, gloriously detailed passion, and fated love.
The paranormal atmosphere is rich with prophecy, vampire folklore, opulence and dark dangers. I loved the legend surrounding the mood child that Seleme is, and the protective parents who are also elegant and so in love.
The first encounter with Maxim is filled with intense belonging and barely restrained lust. Which explodes in a scene that is provocative and sensual.
It's a fantastic mix of suspense and forbidden, supernatural love. The writing is fluid and rich to explore the fated connection between a special woman and the human man who taunts her senses away from duty and safety.
Definitely full of hot times and very warm family scenes, yet also exhilarating with dangerous vampires. I loved the characters, the serendipitous cat, and the action scenes. This world could surely breed more stories.

I can't tell you how much I loved his book. Seldom in PNRs are the heroines the stronger of the couple, even if at some point the power levels even out. In that sense, Seleme and Maxim were something new and fresh to me. There was also a stronger plot in this book than I normally find, and none of steamy goodness I expect from this author was sacrificed. The combination of plot, steam, chemistry and great secondary characters (and epilogues!) made this a really enjoyable read.

Who else but Dani could give us double virgins, with an alpha like Maxim who would rival even the scariest of Vampires. I loved that the connection between Seleme and Maxim’s connection was so much stronger then the duty Seleme felt to marry Alberto. Her heart while still human new that it had found it’s one and fought to the very end for it’s Happiness. She knew that she could not live for an eternity without Maxim by her side. Just as Maxim new with just one look that he had found the one that was made for him, and that he would have her no matter what it took even giving up his mortality. I absolutely loved this story, and I couldn’t put this one down until I read “The End” Dani as always thank you for your words, and my New Book Husband as Maxim now holds that place.

This isn't like any vampire romance you've read before!
Wow! I actually have no clue what to say in this review, there is simply just a sense of WOW.
Seleme & Maxim's story does of course include vampires, a vampire/human romance, some vampire coven drama/suspense, and don't worry this IS Dani Wyatt so there is plenty of sexy steamy moments in there too.
I really enjoyed Dani's take on a vampire and human having a connection/attraction to each other because unlike most she had a female vampire and a male human. Don't worry Maxim is in NO WAY weak or puny up against the immortal vampires, he actually holds his own and proves his worth.
I think that's all you'll get from me, I don't want to spoil the plot...grab this book, you won't regret it!

I absolutely devoured this delicious new book! While the vampire storyline was new for this author you would never guess she hasn’t been writing them forever! Supremely well done with just the right spin put on it so that it was original and engaging. As you would expect from the author the H is over the top possessive. I felt the story was a beautiful love story in the pnr genre with tons of heat ! Run don’t walk to 1 - click your copy! Then prepare for the smoke coming from your kindle as you read it 🔥❤️🔥

Vampires aren't just for Halloween
I don't know how it took this long for Dani Wyatt to write a vampire book but she knocked it out of the park. Seleme is about to reach her maturity as a vampire and come into her powers. Maxim is starting his new life renovating his home. Fated mates told in a way only Dani Wyatt can write them. Instant attraction and love. Sweet and definitely a little (ok a lot) sexy. Loved every page.

Saleme & Maxium aren't even the same species.... well kinda... saleme has been raised her entire life a half vampire, half human promised to another from birth... fate, however, has other ideas. He neighbour across the street smell soooo good....
Not wanting to give any spoilers but fans of Dani Wyatt will be impressed with how well she tackles what is a new genre for her whilst keeping faithful to her style we know and love. An amazing read.

Oooh
This story was soooo on point.... he moves across the street of her house and literally falls in love with her and stalks her! She can’t get his scent out of her head and it’s messing with her!! She’s supposed to be marrying another man!! But... her heart is not into the idea!! This book has so many twists and turns and I loves every moment of it!! Great job On another amazing book!!!

Vamptastic
I loved Seleme and Max. The love was fast and dirty mixed with a paranormal element. Absolutely can’t wait to read about Demetri and Anna. This should become a series to include Seleme’s father and mother’s love story and maybe even the kids. Definitely a winner. Congratulations Dani Wyatt on a terrific book.

I really liked Dani's take on a vampire and human relationship. In most books, the male is the vampire but in this case, it is the female, Seleme. It's refreshing but still contains the alpha male aspect that is so enjoyable in Dani's books.
I highly recommend this for a sexy twist on a vampire love story.

Seleme is a vampire who has to marry another vampire so they can have super vampire babies. She doesn’t really want to and is instead more interested in Maxim, her human neighbor. Maxim has been waiting to make a move on Seleme and finally the prime opportunity arises at a party.
Kinda boring for me. Had a breeding kink in it which was fun though. Wouldn’t keep on my shelf.

As always this author does not disappoint with the chemistry between characters, but it lacked some substance and depth I have come to expect. This book does contain mild violence and sex, but can be read by any romance lover as in the end it is truly a love story.
