SEAL of Honor: Troy
When a friend of Tesla's sends out an SOS on the lowdown on an oil rig in trouble, Troy has a good idea what he's getting into. As far as he is concerned, the maximum danger, the potential for betrayal, and the chances of not coming home sounded like the right kind of job for him.

After all, he lived alone. So going into these situations with no family to worry about him made him the ideal candidate-until he meets someone at the oil rig who suddenly makes him see his future in a different life.

Berkley knew something dangerous was going on. No way this oil rig hadn't been sabotaged. She'd requested to remain with the skeleton crew until her help arrived. And was surprised at the size of the team that showed up to assist her.

Who knew it would take all of them to get to the bottom of this mess and to keep them alive, as human nature and Mother Nature combined to take them all out.

Berkley is an IT contracter working on an oil rig. When there is an explosion on the oil rig, Berkley looks at the monitors for the drill readings and suspects sabotage. She sends an SOS to her friend Tesla, who just happens to be married to Mason a Navy SEAL. He quickly pulled his team together (including Troy the star of the book) and they head for the oil rig to figure out what is going on. Troy takes it upon himself to provide protection to Berkley from the men remaining on the oil rig that disrespect the women working on the oil rig. The mission was to find out what caused the explosion and get the crew off the oil rig. I liked this book a lot because it had a unique plot. When they started finding bodies, they realized there was a lot more going on than just the sabotage. As in all Seals of Honor books there is a romance. In most romance books there is an electric attraction and then by the end of the make a lifetime commitment. This book was different Troy and Berkley decided to go out for a dinner (or two) to get to know each, before jumping into bed. This is the 24th book in the SEALs of Honor series and Dale was able to write a novel with a new refreshing plot. This is a great read with an unexpected plot twist in the end. I'm sure you will find it as good as I did.

Berkley has been sent by the company she works for to an oil rig to address their technology concerns when an explosion occurs and chaos reigns. She believes that there is a lot more going on than she knows so when she needs to remain on the ship she is concerned about the danger that still exists but she manages to contact Troy and his team so help is on the way.

When Troy and his team arrive, they find out there is a lot more going on than they could have ever expected. As Troy and Berkley work together not only do the secrets of the ship escalate but the chemistry between them as well but will they be able to escape with their lives and each other?

This story takes you on a wild adventure filled with intrigue, surprises and a great cast of characters.

Phew.. What a riveting read!
Berkely works in I.T on oil rigs when things go wrong. On this rig sabotage isn't the only thing seriously wrong, and Berkely sends out an SOS to Tesla asking for help.
Troy, along with Mason and a few others are sent to the rig to find out what is going on.
So much more than is expected is uncovered, and Berkely will have to really watch her back to stay safe.
Murder, sabotage, betrayal, and so much more to keep you turning page after page.
Making supper was a fend for yourself deal, because I wasn't putting this book down until I finished it. Hubby made dinner thank goodness :)

Fantastic!

This is an intense story from an oil rig situated in the frigid waters off the coast of Alaska. A suspected sabotage has Mason’s team fast-tracking to the area to assess the situation and get things under control, if needed. Tesla’s friend, Berkley, sent out a may day to Tesla when she discovered, as she was doing her routine systems check, that things were not as they should be aboard the oil rig. Add to that, an explosion which forced an evacuation of most of the rig’s crew, leaving behind a skeleton crew to assess the damage and attempt to fix it.

I love this story! It gets intense right from the beginning and keeps that level of intenseness throughout the story. Mysterious deaths, then more bodies than reported suggest murder, but claimed accidental, add to the danger aboard the rig. Berkley is the only female left on board and constantly deals with the not so subtle harassment from the male members of the crew. I love her moxey! She doesn’t cave to the pressure and stands her ground whenever they start criticizing her and her purpose on the rig or act like she should willingly pass herself around for the pleasure of the crew.

Axel, Mason and Nelson are her secondary support while Troy has stepped up to be her protector against anyone on board who tries to get at her. The male dominated field of oil rigs make it a dangerous arena for any female trying to do her job without facing the derogatory comments and actions from their male counterparts.

I love the mystery and suspense surrounding the danger on this platform where one really has no where to go, but yet there are many places a person with nefarious intentions can hide if they don’t want to be found. I did find the subject of the gang rape of the previous female workers to be a sad realization that in some job fields, the atmosphere is still very male dominated and there is no tolerance of change.

This story covers a multitude of touchy issues, but each one is written with respect and resolution for the characters. A fast-paced read and a very exciting adventure!

This is the 24th book in the Seals of Honour series, each book is a standalone but some of the fabulous characters from the previous books put in an appearance.
Navy SEAL Troy Landry had just returned from a mission and had barely had time to repack his bag when the call came from Mason, head of Troy's unit to enlist him on a new mission.
Mason's wife Tesla had received an SOS from her friend Berkley Milford, Berkley was a communications specialist working for a global company who check out the IT on oil rigs. Mason was worried enough by Berkley's information that he was to take a six man team undercover onto the rig to investigate. The team would consist of Mason and Nelson who were to be oil company reps, Troy and Axel who were to be deckhands and two more SEALs who were to be smuggled on board, unfortunately the oil company also insisted that they take a real company rep, Goran Stanovich with them.
Berkley's information was that there had been explosions on the rig that she suspected was sabotage, the rig had been evacuated apart from a skeleton crew. Men were missing and men were dead, she was the only female on the rig, a previous female on the rig, Berkley's friend had been blindfolded and raped by several men, she had reported it but nothing had been done.
This gripping story follows the unravelling of serious incidents on this evil rig. How many more bodies will they find ? How many rapes took place ? Who in this odd collection of personnel on the rig are involved ? Why did the explosions keep occurring ? Who were the bad guys.
This gripping story is full of suspense, intrigue and as it twists and turns the suspicions moves from person to person ,I didn't figure it out until the end. Of course it wouldn't be a Dale Mayer book without a bit of tender romance and Troy and Berkley didn't disappoint. Another great story.

This is another exciting book in Dale Mayer’s “SEALS of Honor” series. This book is a page-turner.

Berkley Milford is an Information Technology (IT) specialist for an Oil Rig that has just been sabotaged. Several people are missing, and everyone but a skeleton crew remains. Berkley suspects that something dangerous is happening. Therefore, she sends out an SOS to her best friend, Tesla, who is married to Mason, a former SEAL. Mason summons Troy Landry to investigate Berkley’s SOS. He goes undercover on the oil rig to explore what is going on.

What follows is a complex plot with lots of confusing twists and plots. As Troy investigates, he discovers that sabotage is just a part of the danger on the oil rig. The author has a created a plot that leads us into even uglier territory. Plus, she has confused the reader with many possible suspects who can easily be the culprit.

This book is filled with intrigue, adventure and suspense and includes many terrifying moments which will keep the reader’s eyes glued to the book. Ms. Mayer is very prolific writer, but she never stoops to formulaic stories. Skillfully, she manages to create unique plots and characters in every book.

I highly recommend this book.

A friend of Tesla has raised an SOS about an oil rig in trouble. Troy is despatched and has a good idea of what he is getting into and with no family back home he is fine with the maximum danger, the potential for betrayal, and the chances of not coming home sounding like the right kind of job. Then he meets Berkley at the oil rig who suddenly makes him see his future. Berkley knew something dangerous was going on on the oil rig - the damage to the oil rig could not have been an accident so must have been sabotage. So she asked to remain on board to until help arrives - she was just surprised at the size of the skeleton crew. It's going to take all of them to get to the bottom of this mess and to keep them alive, as human nature and Mother Nature combined to take them all out.

This was a real mystery as to what was going on and who was responsible. As the reader, I was able to work through the problem on the oil rig at the same time as Berkley and Tray and try to solve it myself. Well written and very enjoyable, I was addicted tot he story of both the sabotage and the romance between Troy and Berkley. Contains some sexual content.

Mason's SEALs frequently get interesting assignments but this one truly grabbed me as unique. An oil rig off the Alaskan coast is in trouble, suspected sabotage, and the programmer who sent the SOS is a friend of Tesla. Did I mention rough seas and a storm heading their way?

A six man team, two covert, Dane and France, two as crew, Axel and Troy with Mason and Nelson as representatives of corporate head out joined but an actual corporate rep. What they find on arrival is not at all expected.

Berkley needs to let the team know there are cameras watching their every move so she plans a way to corner them.

So many things are going on, with the storm complicating things left and right. The discovery of bodies just adds to the suspense and intrigue surrounding the problems on the rig.

I couldn't put this book down, I was drawn into the story right from the beginning. So many horrible revelations about life on this particular rig, and the things that come out implicate many.

In spite of this or perhaps because of it, Troy and Berkley flirt and he becomes her protector as things get crazier. A simmer to sizzle romance in all the chaos and deceit.

I truly can't wait to see what sort of mission will grab hold of me in the next book.

Troy loves his job, no job is too dangerous. This is his life. Mason, needed his help on this assignment and he was the man for the job. His former life working on an oil rig makes this one right up his alley.
Berkely works these rigs as a computer specialist. She runs the programs checks the programs for errors or sabotage and makes sure things are running smoothly except for a friend and co-worker who was assaulted. Rumors others had been as well. With her friend off the rig, a deadly storm on the way, and then things start blowing up, workers were missing or dead. However, there were and are deeper darker secrets that people are wanting to go away. Berkely's, friend Tesla is worried about her, and when worries about a friend, goes to Mason, who takes action as head of a Seal team, and the backing of the Government, are on the way.
Troy is horrified to find out a lady is onboard the rig. Too much danger, to many questions and not enough answers. Working together to find out what is going on and to fix it if possible. I have to stop or it will spoil the book. It is a page turner, you do not know who to trust or what is happening as nothing is as it seems.

SEALs of Honor- Troy

This was an action packed addition to the SEALs of Honor series with Mason's men, and especiallyTroy helping to solve the mystery of who damaged an oil rig and who was killing men on the ship. Berkley an IT specialist was one of the remaining members on board and she had sent an SOS to Mason's wife, Tesla for help. There had also been three women that had been aboard that had been brutally raped. The last woman was Berkley's friend and she had gotten DNA from the rape before she had gotten her off the ship safely. Troy was assigned to investigate the bombing and the rape along with the rest of Mason's unit. He took on the protection of Berkley as soon as the bodies started to mount up. It got more dangerous as someone was setting off bombs on the oil rig and ship as they were trying to solve what was happening. This was an exciting story as Berkley and Troy grew closer together as they solved the mystery. Its conclusion was very dramatic and unexpected as the oil rig and ship sank. I highly recommend this suspenseful story and cannot wait to read Axel's story next.

Murder, mayhem, and sabotage on an oil rig in international waters near Alaska. This book was a page turner full of twists and turns, explosions, dead bodies, and well men that are manly men and don't thing that woman and homosexuals belong on an oil rig.

Troy and Berkley sort of know each other from Mason and Tesla's famous backyard BBQ's. He is there is Mason and 4 others as they sort out the sabotage happening on the rig she works on. I liked Berkely right away because she didn't take the men's crap and she wasn't afraid to put them in their place. She could take care of herself but this time she needed help. She and Troy clicked and he is an alpha male but he isn't a jerk about it. Things escalate as more explosions happen and more comes out about what has been going on on the rig. All of that and they can't leave due to a raging storm. It's a recipe for excitment and non-stop action, just what I have come to expect from Ms. Mayer.

(4.5)Plot, sub plot weaved separately and together to create a great who done it and why, softened with friendship and romance. Oil rigs, sabotage, murder and oh so much more! Intrigue, mystery, romance. This is really well done that subtly brings so many issues to light. Berkley reaches out to her friend Tesla when there is an explosion, one she knows is sabotage and we are off. Troy, Mason and others come on board undercover, ie, oil rig worker, board member etc. This book brings so many issues to light that happen in the real world, but instead of beating you over the head, you learn as you are taken away into the sea of mother nature. Thank you for an intriguing read, I love it when there is a twist, one I didn't see coming. Thank you for the arc! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

Troy by Dale Mayer
SEALs of Honor Series
Troy Landry is headed for a mission on an oil rig with a team of SEALs. Mason was with as the SOS had come from a friend of Tesla's. There had been an explosion, and sabotage was suspected. It ended up a lot worse things were happening on that rig.

Berkley Milford worked at different places with her job. She'd been on this oil rig before, but this time was different. Berkley had promised her friend that she'd find out answers to things that were happening there. So she stayed on when most everyone else left...hoping her SOS would be heard.

An excellent story, but some very dark, evil things were happening on this oil rig, and it couldn't be blamed on anything but humans. Page-turning suspense...and as always, a touch of romance.

Berkely puts a distress message out to her friend Tesla from the oil rig she has been working on. There was an explosion and the rig was damaged. She thinks it was sabotaged. Tesla asks her husband Mason to go help out so he puts together a team of Seals and they helicopter to the rig. Troy is one of the Seals selected as he used to work on rigs. While they are there Berkely tells them that three women have been raped while working on the rig. Also, she was told that there were only two men missing but when Troy and the team start searching they find 6 dead men in body bags.
This book was full of action and was very interesting. For me it was one of Ms. Mayer's best.

Troy heads to an oil rig with Mason and 4 others to find out who is sabotaging the rig. Berkley is a friend of Tesla and sent out a SOS to her as soon as she realized something was going on that shouldn't be on an rig. Soon discovering the sabotage is more involved than originally thought and there is another travesty against some crew members being carried out, Troy and Berkley race to find answers before Mother Nature decides to move in and destroy the rig and anyone left aboard. With non-stop action, sweet romance and wonderful characters, this book is another great one to add to Mayer's credit. Well-done!

Troy has been on an Oil Rig before and knows the danger involved when he is asked to check on a possible sabotage, skeleton crew on the rig and really bad weather. Berkley, a friend of Tessa, sent out a call for help when she suspected the what was happening was far from the norm. Apparently she was believed as the team sent was larger than normal and this proved to be exactly what was needed. Mystery, adventure, explosions and an angry sea with questionable men running the show makes for a perfect read. Always love the men showing strength, knowledge and honor. The romance is an added plus to an already good book.
The epilogue talks about Alex going on a mission involving a small sub in danger. Count me in, I'm ready for another adventure!

Solid 4.5 star
I loved how even though Berkley didn't have solid evidence of things not being right on the rig after the explosion the guys jump to it as they trust her and Tesla but then they learn of other goings on that led to 3 women leaving and things heat up another level. You really don't know who to trust as things unravel and are uncovered or whether Berkley or any of the others are safe, fortunately we have Troy getting a bit alpha over Berkley to keep the other guys away but it also gives them the chance to spend time together and for Troy to see she is a bit of a kick butt women! Be ready for some good twists, unexpected surprises, tension and a spark of explosions and love!!

Troy

WOW! Another FANTASTIC story by Dale! This was a little different. Troy was the newest member to Mason's team. The team was called to an oil rig because of an explosion. Little did they know about the evil going on that rig. Berkley is the female who called the SOS. Besides the explosion, there were rapes and dead bodies. Mason and his team finally got to the bottom of everything but it was unfortunate that the rig was blown to bits and the person who did the sabotage and killings finally got his revenge for his little brother. Meanwhile, Troy and Berkley got really well acquainted and found their happily ever after when this chaos was over. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

I really miss this series, miss the troop, miss the camaraderie in Mason's group, so I was super excited with this one. It's Troy's turns now and it took place in an oil rig in the middle of the ocean with mother nature raging around them, with nowhere to go, it's certainly upped the suspense. There's danger and mystery and crazy twisted people in every corner, then add sparks between Berkley and Troy, although it was pretty mild at the beginning, but it keeps growing till the end, and there's touching moments too, that got me almost teary, so yeah....I love it.
It's definitely a perfect book for suspense romance lovers.

An oil rig, possible sabotage and the sea itself are just part of the suspense in Book 24 from the SEALs of Honor series.

Navy SEAL Troy is part of Mason's group who is sent to assist Berkley with her suspicion of wrongdoing on the off-shore oil platform. Who knew their futures could look bright together if they get off the rig alive. In typical Dale Mayer fashion, the action does not stop until The End

Another favorite to be put on the Read Again shelf alongside the other 23 books from this collection.

Wow - What a thrilling read that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end with intense drama centered around the sabotage of an oil rig off the shores of Alaska and Mason's SEAL team is called in when one of Tesla's friends sends out an SOS. I loved Berkley Milford, communications specialist and the only female left on the skeleton crew and enjoyed her strength and dynamic with the other characters especially Navy SEAL Troy Landry. If you enjoy riveting romantic suspense with lots of twists and turns, don't miss "SEALS of Honor: Troy". Another great addition to this series. Dale is a great story teller. I love the Seals of Honor, so this is Troy's story. He and Axel come on board as crew while Mason and Nelson are undercover company men. There's been a lot going on on the oil rig. Berkley is the IT person onboard for the company to figure out what's going on. She finds out more than she bargins for. There are some really sick people in the world and a lot of them are on this rig. Hang on tight the seas are going to get rough and there may be a surprise. HEA.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is a well-written fast-paced story, it's part of the SEALs of Honor series, can be read as a standalone story, no cliffhangers. This book covers a topic which may cause some triggers.

Troy and the gang go partly undercover to an oil rig that might have been sabotaged and to help a friend of the group. There is plenty of drama, action and intrigue in this book, the chemistry between Troy and Berkley is intense and grows from their first meeting.
Wonderfully entertaining and thoughtful, pulls you in from the beginning until the end.

Berkley is an IT person who is contracted to work on various offshore oil this as needed. I am amazed by this author;s knowledge of employment opportunities for women. Who knew jobs like Berkeley;s existed. Unfortunately, this particular rig is corrupt at middle management level so when complaints are filed they go no where. Berkley sends an SOS to Tesla when part of the rig blows up.

Lots of action and intrigue with this one.

I don't think I'll ever get enough of those gorgeous SEALs. Troy and his team are sent to an offshore oil rig to investigate the possibility of sabotage. Berkley, a computer analyst and the only woman on board with a skeleton crew, has requested assistance. There has been a number of rapes which confuses the issue. Good mystery. Who has been doing the sabotaging and why, who is responsible for the rapes, and is it all connected. Lovely characters and a gripping story make for another fantastic episode in the SEALs of Honor series. Loved it.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Gregory Salinas (who has done such a nice job with the books he has narrated in this series). This was another good story in the series—glad Axel found his love. The response ‘interesting’ (used by more than one character) has been maddeningly overused in this, as well as the past 2 to 3 books. And the misuse of ‘here’ and ‘there’ continues at a distracting rate. (It’s as if Ms. Mayer became unsure of It’s usage at some point and now just takes turns using one or the other.) I do enjoy her books overall.

Fast moving plot with loads of twists and turns, exciting intrigue and a fierce and scary undercurrent. This is non stop from start to finish with great characters, sussing the real bad guys wasn't easy or straight forward because there was so much to factor in and figure out. I loved that Berkley was included in investigating and solving what was happening. A fabulous read that kept going right to the end, kept my focus and had me gripped throughout. Another great story in this series.
