Poetry in English is not the same as English poetry. Because, English also has its own intrinsic creative and critical aspects. Above all, its culture. English poetry as the raw form and poetry as such from one’s mother tongue for ideas is a situation which is strikingly odd. Anglicised poetry is one which has no inwardness.
The poet himself – even for a random reading – shows through his verses the blend of both language and thought. Ravikiran Kasula makes us aware of this in Words.
