Carson Mackenzie enjoys writing romance with a real feel inside the stories. She writes with the belief not every man is a jerk and not every woman needs saving.

Carson lives in the South with her son, a Great Dane and two adopted shelter dogs that keep the household in line. Books have always been a part of her life. There is nothing better to her than curling up and relaxing with a good story and losing herself in someone else’s world for a few hours.

Writing stories and growing as an author with each book is her goal. She wants to reach the level where a reader knows when they see her name on a cover, they can trust in the fact there will be a good story as they flip through the pages.

Carson’s journey into writing has only been for a few years. As she’s finally starting to settle in, she can’t believe she waited so long to start.

Just like the other books in this series I absolutely loved reading this one. Humor, kickass characters and a great love story. I love Ghost and Luna they are just adorably amazing.

I fell in love with Braxton (Ghost) who always had feelings for his next door neighbor Luna who also did too but because he was a man married her friend that was pregnant and died with his son in a car accident. They both had a 2nd chance and she is pregnant and brings her back to his club. There's a lot of hot sexy scenes and he's alpha man, who a puts his woman first and treats her like a queen, I read all the other books in the series and loved them all. can't wait to read more from this series if she writes more for all the male characters are all hot bikers that need their stories told.

Great story line and characters, Awesome !! Loved this book. The storyline was so interesting that it had me turning pages in anticipation of where it would lead . I was very intrigued with the characters in the story. Simply awesome . Definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read. I would recommend to others. Worth the read and the money!

Luna was in love with Ghost. He had feelings for her but was worried about the friendship. She sees him screwing her bf. The fact that Brax was supposedly on his way to see her but screwed Stormy in parking lot made it worse for me. I almost feel like he cheated on her. Surprise surprise--Stormy ends up pregnant and gets the guy. Does anyone else think Stormy did that on purpose? Luna told her she was in love with Brax so that was a Bitch move.

Losing his wife and little boy in a drunk driving accident, Ghost has been going through the motions of life. When Luna lands back in his life, he feels his heart beating again. One night together is the beginning of their forever. Luna has loved Ghost her whole life. After their one night together, she misses him as much as he does her. When she realizes that she is pregnant, she hopes it will be a new start for them. Taking the opportunity when he travels to the MC Luna belongs to, he is determined to take her back with him. Now that they are together, nothing is going to stop them.

I gotta say, I enjoyed Ghost and Luna. It was cool seeing a female motorcycle club, however brief. I was a little lost in this one as the Ops MC story intersected with this one. I haven't read that series yet so I wasn't as invested in this brief part of the story. I loved Luna's personality, she doesn't hold back and is upfront on just about everything. It was awesome to see Ghost happy and building a life with her and opening up to his brothers more. While all the guys share some characteristics, you know alpha all the way, they are as unique as the women they call their own. Now I'm off to watch the fireworks between Jag and his lady. 4 stars for Ghost.

This is book four in the series and it was a really good read. This is Ghost's story who is not one of the six son's of Black Hawk but he was a seal along with Flirt. This was a heartbreaking read as Ghost returns from a mission, Flirt's last one, he finds out that his wife and son were killed just hours ago by a drunk driver. Ghost goes to Black Hawk with Flirt and slowly puts himself back together as he works towards becoming a patched member. On a run, Ghost crosses paths with a woman that he loved and broke her heart long ago, Luna. Life begins again for Ghost as he doesn't waste his second chance at happiness but life is not a smooth ride where you have complete control over everything.. Can Ghost balance out the control and deal with the things he can't or does he falter at the first sign of a repeat of the past?

Ghost had a hard time after he and Max (flirt) got home from their last mission. Flirt was retiring and ghost wasn't ready, until they were called to their captain's office where he found out his wife and son were hit by a drunk driver on their way there. So he took up Max's offer and went home with him to the Black Hawk MC. He meets Luna again, a friend of his wife's who was crazy about him until Summerstorm (his wife) took advantage when he was drunk and got pregnant. So when the Black Hawks were called to help the Ops prez they went to help. He had already seen Luna once when they rode to Black Hawks's for some help protecting a girl, so when he sees her again things get interesting. There's also a lot of trouble brewing down there they are helping with. A great story with a lot of back ground, not just about sex.

The opening of this story breaks your heart. The anticipation of seeing your family after an absence and then learning of their demise is heartbreaking. It is true when they say time heals and learning to love again is precious. I loved it when Ghost says to Luna I can't be sorry of what happened because then I wouldn't have had my son and those memories. That was sweet and sad at the same time. All things happen for a reason and finding a stronger love and connection is due to the situations that happened before. Nice read.

ONE INCREDIBLE READ!!!
Oh man! Talk about twins wins. This is an amazing take on hard choices. Carson puts it out there and we're the judge. A plethora emotions that take you on a wide ride to sort through. All the drama, heartache, loss, uncertainty, danger and suspense bring this bad boy roaring to life flawlessly. Twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few bumps and bruises make for one incredible experience. The main characters are complex and believable with such depth it demands respect. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together perfectly. Fantastic job Carson, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

Boys and their toys but the life with those toys...

This is an explosive book that you can't seem to put down. You get lost in the characters and look forward to more. The trials and tribulations that people go through in life can either break us or make us stronger. We learn from what we do and can either grow from it or have it hold us back. Not everyone's lives are full of roses and sunshine and making the best of what we can do with the choices we make, seems to make all the difference. I look forward to reading more fo the series.

Ghost lost his first love when he got someone else pregnant and married her. Years later, his family is dead and he has a second chance with the girl he always loved.

Luna has loved Ghost since she was 5 years old. It broke her heart when she found out he got another girl pregnant. Leaving home, she drifts until she finds a home with the Ops Warriors. Their clubs bring them back together and Ghost isn't about to lose Luna again.

Little more action in this story. Ops Warriors make more of an appearance.

After suffering a tragedy, Ghost became a shell of the man he was. Luna once loved the boy next door, only to have her heart broken by him. They are given a second chance, but will the ghosts of the past hold them back?

I loved how these two had a previous friendship and so it wasn't rushed. I didn't blame Luna for being hesitant, but I loved her ballbusting personality! I loved how Ghost was determined to not let a second chance pass them by and he was determined to get what he wanted. Good read!

I loved the interaction between Ghost and Luna. Luna is a no nonsense woman who has known Ghost all his life. They are reunited years later and the sparks heat up. They pick up where they left off. The addition of Luna to the Black Hawks is a positive. It gives Carley someone else who isnt afraid to say whats on her mind and put the men in her place..oh yeah and she rides too. This is a must read. I love this author and am really enjoying this series.

I am not sure that I even know where to begin writing a review for this because it is truly an awesome experience.

The author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.

I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing, and the ability that the author had to tell me a story that had me wanting this book to go on and on.

It's just ok

I liked these two together. But not much going on. Barely any drama. I thought she forgave him way too easy. I would have busted the ex best friend's lip for what caused all this in the beginning. But she did nothing to either of them.
These stories need more drama. And still I don't understand how these ladies are ok with their men going to a strip joint all the time. They laugh at that. It's just not normal. No jealousy what so ever from any of them.

Amazing

Omg I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with Ghost. He lost so much including his best friend Luna who was the one he truly loved. When he saw Luna again there was no denying the love they had for each other. Then when tragedy almost struck him again my heart went out to him and I wanted to give him a great big hug. I'm so glad he got his happily ever after with Luna. I love this series and can't wait to see what happens next!

This is a well written story with strong likable characters who have a hot chemistry and are meant for each other. The author does a fantastic job bringing an entertaining story with a hot sexy romance. I loved their characters and it was fun seeing the characters from past books. I loved and highly recommend this book.

Wow! Ghost has been through a lot already in his life! Wonderful to see him get a second chance at happiness in this addition to the series. While it can be read standalone it is good to see how the characters develop throughout the series and support each other!

Old loves

Luna and Ghost story was tragic but the outcome was the best.
Ghost lost his wife and son in a horrific way and he blamed himself. After reconnecting with his childhood friend he has a second chance.
Now they are working on creating their new life together.
Carson Mackenzie has created a great series and each brother finally finding their true love

Boy right from the start this book has a lot of
action that had me turning the pages to see what
