A family secret brought her to Candle Beach. The same secret might drive her away.
It had always been just the two of them, mother and daughter. After her mother died, Angel Bennett found out it was all a lie. Discovering her mother’s secrets, she moves to Candle Beach to find out the truth. What she finds is so much more.
Adam Rigg is unlucky in love. He’s the constant friend, never the boyfriend. He’s resigned himself to be the best journalist possible, keeping the local newspaper, the Candle Beach Weekly, afloat in an era where digital media reigns supreme. When Adam volunteers to help Angel discover the truth about her mother’s past, an unexpected romance blossoms between them. However, Adam is soon confronted with a dilemma—does he help Angel get the family she’s always wanted or save his relationship and never be alone again?
If Adam helps Angel realize her dreams, will he ever get what he wants most—her?
Another great read in this series. This time we have Angel and Adam. They were a cute couple. I was glad that Adam was finally able to have some good luck with the ladies. I was also happy that Angel got what she was looking for. Too bad it took too long for everything to work out for her. Of course it was nice to see how the other women in the past stories are doing. I see she might write more and I hope that she will.
She writes in a way that keeps all the characters/friends connected even as she focuses on a main character. It is time to write Sarah's story, she needs to meet a mystery man!
I really enjoyed all the books in this series. The characters are likable and seem like real people. I hope this is not the last book in the series, Charlotte needs someone in her life!
I think this was my favorite in the series. I think Adam is a wonderful guy and him and Angel will have a great life. Angel understand Adams life as a newspaper owner and really wants to see him succeed.
This was a great book to read it's the fourth one in this series.I like romance with the couple. And her finding her long list family. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Sweet Memories a terrific addition to the Candle Beach series. Well written with a great cast of characters. Looks forward to future books in the series.
Great series, read them in order to get to know the characters. Sweet romance with trials and tribulations. Am looking forward to more to come in this series.
I Loved all 4 of Nicole Ellis's books. I smiled, laughed & cried tears of joy in these books. A Must read for everyone. I can't wait to read more of her books.
I have enjoyed the whole series but this was the best. I wanted poor Adam to have someone and be happy, now he has! I also enjoy how they keep adding new people to their friendship circle. Lots of time in real life that does not happen.
Just like the previous books in this series it has you hooked I must admit just like with the Willa Bay series I'm reading these back to back I can't put them down excellently written and so pleased Adam and Angel found love at last and Angel has answers after finding her family
OOPS, my bad.....I didn't realize this was a series and it seems I read this book first ~ and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and now am in the midst of reading the others.
This is the fourth book in the Candle Beach line , you get to see friends grow add more friends to their lives. Not everything is perfect the story lines show you doubts, insecurities, and how they over come them. All four books are great when is Charlotte 's story coming out.
