Facility 468: A Demon Apocalypse Short Story

Rate this book
Facility 468, a secret Russian research base deep in the Ural mountains.
It's purpose? To discover how to combat the effects of long term sleep deprivation.
An insignificant facility, barely even worth mentioning.

Then one day, contact is unexpectedly lost, the last broadcast from the facility showing it has been the scene of unprecedented slaughter.
In situations like this, there's only one man the Russian state turns to. That's why Major Dmitri Petrov gets the call.
Leader of the most elite SPETSNAZ team the Russians have, he is ordered to go to the now quarantined facility and uncover its harrowing secrets.

Because whatever the scientists were doing there, it seems they might have just opened up a portal to hell.

Facility 468 is the fifth story in Sean Deville's Apocalyptic Short Story collection.

Horrifying!

In a secret Russian facility hidden deep in the mountains, an experiment on sleep deprivation has gone terribly wrong.

The scientists have unknowingly released a horrific demon, and everyone within the facility has been killed.

The Russian government calls in a secret crew of five men. Their job is to hunt and kill anything that is alive.

The men are loaded down with a multitude of weapons, but do they have what it takes to kill a demon?

It's okay

Interesting short read that is good for a momentary distraction though lacking in details or actual plot. I feel there were more to this but the author decided to simply end it.

Good short read

I enjoyed this. Good concepts that pin the book down. Murky Russian research in a murky location cleaned up by murky Russian soldiers. Not bad to be honest.
