Favorite Fiction Author
A.G. Riddle certainly knows how to weave an intricate and intriguing story line that keeps the reader guessing from chapter to chapter how it's all going to play out! His lead characters are well developed, without going into endless or monotonous back stories that detract from the developing plot. Instead, their stories are skillfully woven into the plot itself! You feel like you're walking in their shoes, seeing through their eyes and feeling their emotions. I reluctantly had to put this trilogy down midway while we were packing to move in the midst of the Covid crisis! But I picked it up again as soon as possible and couldn't put it down. How Riddle manages to keep all of the twists and turns straight is pure genius. He masterfully connects all the dots to bring it to a thrilling conclusion that doesn't disappoint. He never fails to surprise and captivate the reader, whether through the actions of his characters or the detailed scientific portions that He has so thoroughly researched. I've now read everything he's written so far, have loved every single story, and am on pins and needles waiting for his next imaginative masterpiece. Read his books, all of them. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!! I'm just wondering how long before George Lucas turns one of his stories into a major blockbuster trilogy!!

First and 3rd books good, but I got lost in the 2nd and had to find my way through in 3rd. Overall a good read.

This was a great story. Nice pace, excellent characters and Mr. Riddle did a wonderful job moving the characters through the story building on each. I cannot wait to see what "Hollywood" does with these three books.

Right from the moment I picked up this book, the entire storyline blew me away. I was expecting something to do with deep-sea exploration and climate change but instead, it offered so much more than that! An entire rollercoaster ride with David and Kate throughout the series spanning societies, space and time and delving into the dangers of dabbling in science and technology. I never knew about the interpretation of Atlantis as a superior technological and scientific civilisation and the way the author fleshed out its civilisations rise and downfall were simply spectacular.
As superb as the plot was, I found myself losing motivation to actually complete the book and kept falling asleep especially while reading 'content dumps' on the history of humans (PIE, European History) and hard science. There were way too many characters with different aliases, confusing alternations between narrators in different countries and time zones but after a while, I got used to them. Honestly, even now I still don't get the role of the Immari in the series ^^

The story line is good, the premise is good. The problem, as see it, is the confusing presentation. One page chapters, people disappearing and appearing seemingly at random, individuals with one or two names or as many as three! People dying or being killed and then being resurrected! Really kind of tough to follow.
I plowed through all three books. I thought it only fair to the author. I was finally able to stick things together at the end but it was a chaotic ride to get there! Maybe a younger brain could keep things in order. I
I was intrigued by the story so I decided to try another of the trilogies and it's much better. I bbelieve it's the 'Frozen' volume!

Great book, I recommend it
Although I hope that this kind of scenario never happens on earth, with that in mind even with the crazy things that happened the author managed to keep my interest by mixing earthly emotions and scenes so that it didn’t turn out to be a sci-fi book where all there is is endless fighting. This book kept me wanting to read more and more kinda like Harry Potter books.

Great tale
I enjoy a story that grabs you by the lapels and drags you into the adventure. The characters you come to love and or hate and are frequently surprised by what they do. This is one of those stories that keeps me turning the pages. Bottom line is try this author, he is a great story teller.

Love this trilogy!
Completely grabbed my attention from the first paragraph! Characters to love and some to hate. History references that brought the long story line together. End tied up all the loose ends.

Easy to read, but also a hot mess. First there were Nazi's, because this started out as an action adventure cliché. Then, it jumped the shark in book 2 as a weak scifi adventure. Book 3 went full scifi, aliens did everything and not a damn thing made sense. Over the top, and unbelievable.
In the third book, an entire civilization has been simplified to kindergarten logic. A societal split occurs over the simplest of problems that any advanced society would have needed to address long before it became advanced. And the solution is insultingly stupid, unnecessarily extreme, and completely unbelievable.
For a culture so incredibly advanced, the Atlanteans can't think their way out of a cardboard box. And that's because they are not thoughtfully developed characters in a world well thought out by the writer. They simply exist to push along a plot that seemed to have no idea where it was really going to go from the start.
It's never really explained why Ares felt the need to make a mess of the planet. Why any of the people who interacted with him over thousands of years never caught on to his crazy psychopathic tendencies. Nor does it make sense that none of characters seem to value the individual lives or cultures of humanity when it's being destroyed en masse.
Sooo much deus ex machina here. Every solution just comes out of nowhere.

This was a good trilogy but soooo long. The scientific jargon was way too much for the common mind to grasp onto and made the stories drag endlessly. I found myself skimming the final chapters just to end it. I doubt I will read a trilogy straight through again anytime soon. While it was confusing as to who was human and who was different species of aliens (some seemed to interchange) the premise of the story was of course war among the worlds and the different ways it was executed. Not my regular genre so I’m not equipped to evaluate how good in a reality sense this was but I did like the stories and characters.

I read 1 1/2 into the three book series and was totally lost. I felt the author by making this a 3 book series seemed to have to become wordy and too abstract in order to create pages. I normally don’t like books in series where you have to read them all. It’s like reading an 1100 page novel and you have to be really good to do that. In my mind the Atlantis trio just didn’t cut the mustard for me. I rarely stop reading a book, but I read for pleasure and I was not getting a good feeling from this trio.

I couldn’t finish reading it
The storyline and premise just became too convoluted. The characters were going back and forward in time and space as were the storylines. It was too confusing for me to read. After awhile it was a jumbled up story in my head and not enjoyable to continue reading.

The premise was great. It was difficult to read. Too many characters/character names, too many plot twists and jumping around from character to character, scenario to scenario. I couldn't connect with the characters or really follow the plot.
I found myself getting frustrated and wishing it would stop. I managed to finish but, more than once, I was seriously thinking about giving it up.

Interesting series
This 3 book series has many twists and turns to it that keep it interesting. The last book seemed like it was wavering a touch for a bit, but ended strong. This is the second well written series by AG Riddle I have read and I really enjoyed this one. It was hard to put down many times in the series . Great book.

Quite a chore
I was tempted to quit this book several times but managed to keep going. It was confusing all the way around. Even after I finished it I still am not sure what happened.

War Between Two Worlds
Space ships and war between two worlds are the basis for this trilogy. Scientists left their home planet to search for and study other worlds where humans resided. At times the science was difficult to follow but enjoyed the books anyway.

Such a refreshing sci fi series that I had the chance to read in a while. I literally could put it down. A.G. Riddle really knew how to weave in suspense at the end of each chapter and book. I’m a sucker for ancient history, science, apocolyptic and thriller hunts!
