This book needs serious editing.
How could the h be so surprised that her brother is a bad guy when she is a "hitman" for said brother??? Normal people don't need people killed off!
She is presented has a killing machine, turning out to be a kitty without claws, totally naive to the mafia world...

4.5 this is really good! The story kept me on edge. Love both the hero and heroine. Piper Stone knows how to make a connection between them. I like that there was a push and pull. It was really hot.

Willow is an assassin and meets Aleksei, part of the Petrov Crime family and sparks fly. When Willow goes to complete her job Aleksei is there and he wants her to submit to him. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and suspense. Great characters and intense chemistry. I liked it.

AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.

This was my favorite in this series so far. Willow and Aleksei had a great chemistry with plenty of hot and steamy scenes between them. The book was darkish with mafia storyline and some light BDSM play between main characters, but nothing too much.
However, the story and characters were confusing at times. Willow was supposed to be this super bad assassin, but she ended up being completely naive and clueless about mafia and her brother’s business. The explanation on why she was acting as her brother’s hitman also didn’t add up and was contradicting.
I’m being kind of generous with 3.5-4 stars because Willow and Aleksei ended up being my favorite couple in this series so far. But the storyline would definitely benefit from another round of editing.
However, the story and characters were confusing at times. An amazing read filled with twists and turns…
Willow is a trained assassin killing on the say of her brother but there is no love there is only the cruel control he holds over her by blackmail, a secret from her past that he waves over her head like a mantle, wielding it with the power as vile as any of the nemesis she’s been forced to face over the years.
Aleksei has been one step ahead of her from the very start she has been betrayed and she walks into the trap with her eyes open but the man that she faces is like no other, he knows that he is going to make her pay for the attempt on his life. Then he is going to own her, punish her and then make her his in every way possible and he knows she will fight him at every turn. However, he is ready for the beautiful killer that has a death sentence over her head, he will keep her safe and use her to find the information he needs.
As the lies and the killings increase and Willow realises that she has been used like a loaded gun by her brother, Peter she knows that this will only end when all of the perpetrators have paid the piper and the traitors have been culled. Aleksei is guarding a secret that is his reason for living, his reason for breathing and should anything happen to the precocious four-year-old the seas would turn red with the blood he’d shed.
Aleksei, with the mafia drama and is a great alpha character but also Willow is an alpha character in her own right and together they are invincible. There is also a fairy strong NDSM element between the two main characters and this is a cornerstone within their characters both individually and as a couple.
I loved that this was an electric stand-alone read that held me from the very first page, unable to put down until I had completed the very last page.
I cannot wait for Piper Stones next book, she never fails to impress,

Forced to Cooperate is the third book in Piper Stone’s Mafia Masters series. In this contemporary romance, readers meet Willow Church and Aleksei Petrov. She is an assassin, and he is the heir apparent to the Petrov Bratva. He is her target; however, her mission is thwarted. He expected her and now she is his captive. Willow’s brother, Peter Church, molded her into her current occupation. There is a huge age gap between Peter and Willow, as well as much animosity on his part. He uses her as a pawn in his chess game to overthrow the Petrov family. Peter secretly plots with Solntsevskaya Bratva Family in Russia. Will Peter be successful? What happens between Peter and Willow? Can she forgive her older brother?
I enjoyed this well-written romantic suspense. Ms. Stone cleverly uses a two-prong plot. One prong is their romantic journey. The second prong is one of suspense and mystery in the life of crime families. It follows Willow and Aleksei’s journey as they navigate their way through the corruption and betrayal. I appreciated the rich conversational and internal dialog revealing Willow and Aleksei’s backstories. I liked the use of a dual point of view to illuminate their hopes and vulnerabilities. Lastly, Ms. Stone’s use of descriptive language paints vivid and memorable scenes. One memorable scene is the revelation of Aleksei’s secret. These vivid scenes pull readers into the scene giving them an eye-witness view of family dynamics. I also liked the way Ms. Stone incorporates the theme of greed as the motivating force behind Peter’s nefarious actions. Readers should note that the sex scenes are a bit raw and some may be offended; but, nevertheless, this was a captivating read. Nicely done, Ms. Stone.

Magnificent story.
Which I listened to the audiobook of,and which was narrated by Jack Calihan whose accents were fantastic I enjoyed listening to him tell me this story by Piper Stone.
Enemies to lovers..
Willow has been moulded by her brother Peter to become a trained assassin,and her target is ruthless Russian Aleksei Petrov whose family are Russian Mafia.
But Aleksei is no fool and is expecting the attack and turns the tables on Willow by capturing her and she ends up being his prisoner.
They have undeniable chemistry that gets stronger and hotter everytime they are close to one another and its only a matter of time before their attraction explodes.
Like with all of Piper Stone's stories there are twists and turns to the whole story and how Willow's life was not what she thought it was...she had been lied to all her life by her brother,which puts a price on her head.
The brother she adored wants her gone...for reasons she could never have imagined.
Aleksei becomes her Captor,her protector,her lover and the man she can't live without.
Aleksei is full of suspicion thinking that Willow is lying to him about what her brother is planning and so he keeps her close because that is what you do to your enemies.
But it soon becomes apparent that he is falling for Willow,the woman who wanted him dead,his captive,his soul mate,the only woman he desires.
I really enjoyed this story it was enthralling to say the least,there is so much going on and so many plot twists..
The ending was so adorable and I had tears in my eyes because I am a big sap and I loved that they found eachother.
Piper Stones audiobooks are becoming my new addiction.
I can't wait to see what book 4 brings.

Really loved the concept of the story but had trouble believing that Willow was an accomplished assassin. I went into this thinking she'd be this badass boss bitch that could hold her own but it seemed like we got a kid playing dress up.
Her character could have been so much more believable if she could have stuck to her....guns (😏). It was hard to get a sense of what was going on when she would say one thing and a sentence later it was the exact opposite. Like with the brother but most especially with Alesksi. One second she felt used and betrayed and the next it was like it never happened. One minute she was going to beat him at his own game of manipulation and the next that tactic was completely gone.
My only complaints with Alesksi was his cock 'twitched' way too often to take seriously and his use of 'cherie'. I can't claim to have any true knowledge of Russian culture (as I'm sure what I've read in books and seen on Tv probably isn't that accurate) but evertime that word came up it yanked me right out of the storyline. Maybe it's because I've been reading so many of Zoe Blake's books and her characterization of what I think of as Russian mafia is 🤌. Anyways, 3 stars for not so much a good book but for keeping the boredom at bay!

OMG SO HOT
This book just kept the twists and turns coming till the very end. I couldnt out this book down it was a fantastic read!!!!!
I do love watching the big bad Alphas falling hard for their women!!
Willow Church's night goes from amazing to really really bad in the space of a couple of hours. She had met Aleksei at a function and it quickly turned into passion. A passion either couldnt hide. But then hours later she was meant to kill him. she was an assassin and he was next on her brothers list. Willow worked for her brother Peter. He was not a nice man and he didnt hide his dislike for his sister.
But meeting Aleksei changed everything. He was waiting for her. And the Alpha was always once step ahead of her. He gave her two options 1 face death or 2 be his.
WOW I really enjoyed getting to know these two. The banter and the chemistry is offffffff the charts.
The twists and turns are just mind boggling at times that just kept me hooked to this story. My favourite in the series. Its a brilliant read!!!!

The well-developed characters have unique personalities that are quite complex & are inclined to be devious and/or cruel at times although I will admit that one of the characters (Willow) did not strike me as a merciless assassin.

Willow Church had been commissioned by her brother Peter, head of Church Exports to assassinate Aleksei Petrov, a kingpin in the Philadelphia Bratva. Willow knew her brother had a vendetta against Aleksei for years, she just didn't know the details as to why. When the night of the assassination was to take place, Willow finds herself in the position of being set up and Aleksei waiting for her. When the bullet goes astray and Aleksei has taken complete control of the situation, she's given two choices: 1) Hand over complete obedience in all things voluntarily or 2) She watches Peter die and then she will. Not only that, but now Aleksei is telling Willow her brother is dealing in illegal drugs and white slavery! That certainly couldn't be true, could it? What a maze of twists and turns this storyline takes with two strong characters, several mafia families, deep, dark secrets, and a passion-filled chemistry that lights up the pages. This was such a terrific read that I recommend to anyone to enjoys a good mafia genre.

Once I started reading it I just couldn't stop reading til I finished it, I thought it was that great a read! Dangerous delights ahead!
I just love this series and so far Aleksei Petrov is my favorite "bad boy".
The mafia has been his life, his devotion and loyalty has cost him greatly, ruthless, dominant, gorgeous, killer, lover, judge, jury and executioner. This is one man you don't want to cross, you probably won't live long enough to regret it!
Willow is a hitwoman, manipulated, forced and guilted into a life she hates by those she trusts but has blindspots for.
When these two meet the chemistry is electric and the heat scalding, but soon the hunter becomes the hunted and the heat will become erotic punishment.
There is danger, action, betrayal, lives lost, family found, murder, conspiracies, secrets, surprises and a child revealed that will bring out the best in them!
This is a massively damn good story for you to get lost in! This bratva story has kink and love galore and is an excellent addition to the series!

This book was full of surprises, erotic love scenes and revenge. I loved the storyline with it's hidden twists and its determined hero, intent on protecting Willow and the heritage his father had spent his life creating. Aleskei was not a good man but he was an honorable man, falling in love with his enemies sister was not something he had ever expected nor desired until it happened, then he would die to protect her.

This book is the third installment in Piper Stone’s Mafia Masters series which tells the story of Willow, who was sent by her brother (Peter) to assasinate Aleksie to protect her family, and Aleksei, heir to the Bratva who had been tipped off aboutWillowand was waiting for her with an ultimatum of submitting to him or watching her brother die and then dying herself. Aleksie also shares information about Peter which includes involvement in white slavery and illegal drugs. I recommend this dark mafia romance with its excellent writing, complex and flawed characters, and intriguing plot with suspense, drama, betrayal, violence, unexpected twists, intense emotions, and sizzling passion.

Esse ia bem. Começou melhor que o segundo, criando uma intimidade sexual anterior que justificasse a conexão mesmo com o espancamento. Essa era uma h com mais espinha dorsal e capaz até de resistir aos encantos do H. Mas aí, lá pela metade começam as malditas teorias de disciplina. Willow was out to kill Aleksei to avenge her brother Peter. Willow is the first person who's tried to kill him that he let live. They have this very intense hate/love relationship. Aleksi is a moninate and very controlling. Willow is strong willed and very independent. It's a fast paced story with plenty of action, suspense, BDSM, steamy rough sex, spankings and anal. I love how Piper Stone writes a book. Highly recommend. (If you don't like the rough sex then please don't read this story.) I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I always start off reading this authors stories wondering why I got them, then I can't put them down or forget about them until I finish thm. This one was no expection. It's brillant, full of twists and turns with a wonderful unexpected ending. Poor Willow and Aleksei, both so hurt. Great characters, real and so rounded. There are plenty of different elements in this story, lots of hot spicy sexy scenes and some violence. It's a very full and interesting story. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. An enjoyable and interesting page-turner.

She cannot complete the contract
Forced to Cooperate is a great book by Piper Stone. It is well written with an completely engaging story-line that is suspenseful, intriguing, twisted and there is fantastic hot and sweaty chemistry between the main characters, Willow and Aleksei. There were some things that I thought could have been better and some things that did not make sense or fit into the story. But on the whole I really enjoyed reading this semi-dark Mafia story.

It is well written with an completely engaging story-line that is suspenseful, intriguing, twisted and there is fantastic hot and sweaty chemistry between the main characters, Willow and Aleksei. There were some things that I thought could have been better and some things that did not make sense or fit into the story. But on the whole I really enjoyed reading this semi-dark Mafia story.

At first, it was hard for me to get into this story, so it took me a while to figure out if I would enjoy it or not. I'm a fan of Piper Stone, so I decided to give this story a chance and finished it. This certainly isn't one of my favorites, but it was a nice escape from life for me. While this story might not have been a good fit for what I wanted to read, I'm sure that others will enjoy it.

This is the third book in a stand-alone, mafia series by Piper Stone. Following His as Payment and Taken as Collateral, Forced to Cooperate tells another steamy spanking mafia romance about Willow and Aleksei, an assassin and a Bratva heir. This couple begin their story as enemies, but throughout their adventure together become friends then lovers. This dark mafia romance can be summed up by the following: BDSM, alpha male, power exchange, captivity.

I wouldn’t call this dark
I don’t know. Just something missing. There didn’t seem to be any feeling in the writing. Not sure but this is probably one of those authors that rush through writing too many books and so they lack quality. I’ve read only two so far from this author but don’t think it’s written in the style I like. It’s definitely not dark, unless it’s the mob killings counted as the dark content? He’s barely dominant and she’s not submissive either, just a couple lightly playing the roles during love making (yes it’s love making).

Forces trying to eliminate my family

A plan is afoot to kill me, (the Bratva heir) I am informed an assassin has my name, not only me is to be killed but my entire family is also in danger, so the ones responsible can take over our territories and wealth, what they don’t know is I have been warned and I am a mean monster who needs to be feared and always wins. This current threat how ever is more challengingGreat book loved every page, only 17 chapters but it covered the story.

This book is all over the place. The FMC is supposed to be a highly skilled hit-woman. She acted all tough in the beginning. However, after she met the MMC, she very soon turned into this submissive doormat who was not only weaker in strength but also knew nothing about the mafia, the MMC's business, or even about her own family. Everything contradicted each other, and the whole plot of the MMC trying to find her brother didn't make sense. Also, the MMC suddenly disclosed that he had a lover who died and claimed that he had a son, and the FMC turned into this maternal guardian without missing a beat. I felt angry instead of horny after reading this.

How does she do it?! Piper has another hit story. This book is HOT, HOT, HOT! This book has something for everyone, two families at war, a couple of traitors, lots of shooting and really, really hot sex. You want to knock a couple of heads together for secrets that they keep from each other and kill others for the same thing. Spanking warning!! I would recommend this book!

Piper Stone’s Sons of Darkness series is getting hotter, darker and more dangerous as each story happens with brutal effect..
Aleksei and Willow’s story has all the intrigue and drama you expect for a dark mafia story but with twists that are least expected and with a dark and dominating Russian and a beautiful assassin this story will get you hooked in and not let go until the last page is turned so for me it is a definite 5 star read..

An on the edge of your seat gripping read that is superbly written, well developed, and consistent with twists and turns, manipulation, suspense, surprises, danger, action, and so much more! The characters are strong and likeable; the chemistry between them burns the pages; the sex scenes are well described and very erotic. This is a book not to miss! A must read!
