From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author R.G. Alexander, A Finn Factor/Finn’s Pub Holiday Romance! Tanisha Chahal is a successful businesswoman, a lip balm and reality show aficionado, and filthy rich. She doesn’t need a man. So why is she proposing to Emerson Wayne? Emerson is a family man and the father of two wonderful boys he’ll do anything to keep. But that isn’t why he’ll say yes. It’s more than an arrangement from the start, and the chemistry between them is hot enough to melt the ice. But with a meddling brother and a resentful ex tossed into the mix, it’ll take some special Wayne know-how and the magic of the season to get what they both want for Christmas. Like your favorite tropes with a holiday twist? This is the book for you. Except for the explicit dirty talk and sex, this romance is actually pretty sweet. Extra Tanisha's story begins in Third Time Lucky, Book 3 of the Finn's Pub Romance series. And Emerson Wayne's entire family is heavily featured in both the Finn Factor and Finn's Pub series. In case you wanted to catch up.
R.G. Alexander is a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author who has written over 50 erotic paranormal, contemporary, urban fantasy, sci-fi/fantasy and LGBTQ romance books for multiple e-publishers and Berkley Heat. She’s also self-published several best-selling series.
She has lived all over the United States and worked all sorts of jobs in her life, including nurse and lead vocalist, but for the last seventeen years, she’s been a writer of all things romance. Now she can’t imagine doing anything else.
RG feels lucky every day that she gets to share her stories with her readers, and that she is happily married to a man known affectionately as The Cookie—her best friend, research assistant, and the love of her life.
Emerson wasn't really featured all that much in previous Finn books so I wasn't sure what to think about him. On the other hand, my mind is more than made up about his ex-wife, Rowena. But it would be impolite to write down what I'm thinking.
Tanisha is strong, smart and a beautiful woman. She should never doubt that about herself. No one else does. It makes sense that Barry and Lang loved her immediately.
WEDDED TO A WAYNE is a stellar modern-day marriage-of-convenience story set in R.G. Alexander's Finn universe. While it can stand alone, this would work best after at least reading THIRD TIME LUCKY, where we get the introduction to the heroine, Tanisha Chahal.
Tanisha's a smart, accomplished business owner--a modern day woman except for her exceptionally traditional family and their antiquated notions of a woman's role and place. She never intended to marry, recognizing her own limitations and preferring to set her sights on what dreams and goals she could fulfill rather than pursuing things that were doomed to failure. But she's also very practical, and when she recognizes that formalizing a relationship with Emerson Wayne could benefit them both, she proposes.
Emerson's eye's already been caught by the lovely Tani, so while he's caught by surprise by her suggestion, there's no way his answer will be anything other than yes. All he needs now is to convince her that there is more than convenience to their arrangement.
R.G. Alexander's story is beautifully written and feels full and complete. While it's a novella, it feels like a much longer story because of how well she covers Tani and Emerson's growing relationship with each other and their families. This is a terrific addition to the Finn and Wayne family universe, and a warm and wonderful read for the holidays.
I stumbled upon this author by reading her Bone Daddy series. I'm a sucker for some supernatural/voodoo stories. Especially when set in New Orleans. The vibe and characters seem so authentic to me. This wasn't that kinda book, but when two people come together for a marriage with reasons that don't include love, watch out!!! A hidden desire for each other changes the game, and it's a joy to read. Those slow burning embers turn into a raging inferno before you know it.. And I mean that sincerely!!😁😁😁
It really surprised me, but R.G. Alexander is an extremely talented storyteller. She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you keep an open mind, I think she'll surprise you!
Two awesome stories in as many days! Although you COULD read this as a stand-alone, you really do need to read Third Time Lucky first if not all of the Finn Factor books to get all the references and know all the players. In any case, Princess Tani and the Santa whisperer Barry will have you crying and laughing in the same scene A LOT. As short as this novella was, it didn't feel rushed at all. *SIGH* So not fair that I can't hang out with the Waynes, Finns and all their significant others IRL. Bless you R.G. Alexander for all the feels you provide in this and all your outstanding books. Congrats on another job well done! MUAH
Sweetest holiday story EVER! I would totally could see this as a lifetime Christmas movie. Tanisha totally picked the right man not only is he a dedicated dad and great brother, he's a beautiful man all around. Emerson also couldn't ask for a better woman by his side, she's a fighter and a believer and loves his boys. I loved reading about them slowly getting to learn and love each other. Wayne Click!
Why does it have to be over???? 😭😭😭 Oh my goodness this quick book was so yummy! I loved the chemistry Emerson and Tani had, his kids, the storyline, the SEX (hot damn), the side characters and everything else that made this story what it was. Definitely recommend this book!!!
Such a great book. Thoroughly enjoyed getting to catch up with other characters but totally loved getting to know Emerson, Tani, Lang and Barry better. Definitely one to buy
I loved this book with a capital L. Tani and Emmerson make the best couple. The pace of this book was great. I loved the awkwardness in the begining that bloomed into love. I cant wait to read it again.
I started to read this story right before bed time and knew if I continued pass the first few pages I would not be able to put it down. So I did just that, put it down for the night, but low and behold, picked it up first thing in the morning, with my cup of coffee and continued forth. Yep, it was hard to put down until finished, my only disappointed was it was too short. I want to know more, and like always I want to know more about these families... I don't have a huge family, in fact it just two now, so when I get to read stories of huge families I love them. I am not sure what is next, but I am hoping Jae's story is next. And to get a glimpse into other things on in the families. Thank you for a great story again. If you are looking for a synopsis of this one, it's love, a loving dad and some great kids. That's it, but there is so much more you'll need to read it, no spoilers sorry.
I had to buy Tanisha’s romance, after falling in love with her in Third Time Lucky. Tani and Emerson’s romance is full of cliches, but the character rise above them and charmed me.
This was a really cute addition to the Wayne's family stories. I really loved Tanisha and how strong her character is she didn't back down and went for what she wanted.
Absolutely brilliant. And the ending? Arrr Makes me wish and pray for more. I love the Finn's, Wayne's and everyone connected in this amazing world R.G has created.
This story is really good. We get to read how Tani the princess, Joey's best friend, finds the love of her life and the family she never thought she'd have. The story gives you all the best feels and the last page brought tears to my eyes. And that never happens to me.
What a lovely story of hope and love. I liked Princess Tani in the last book and was more than pleased to see she got her own story. What a sweet one it is. *sigh* I would like my own Emerson, please. Wonder if I ask Santa, if he will bring me one? Wonderful holiday story.
I have written my review and I accidentally pushed the wrong button, so everything disappeared.
I am a big fan of the whole series, but Tani is one amazing character empowering women of the world. Though the reality of it all, that in some countries or cultures, being a woman is still considered as a second class citizen. Tani was an embodiment of strength, courage, intellect, and beauty.
I also love the fact, that there were children as characters in this book. It's Lang and Barry (surprised that it was actually Barack). I'm always fascinated by them. They are funny as well.
No spoilers here, but that was one hell of a Thanksgiving celebration that brought tears to my already vulnerable spirit.
I don't ever want the series to end! Thank you R.G. Alexander for sharing your gift of writing! More books and fun for your readers in the future please.
As an avid fan of the shenanigans the Finn and Wayne families get up to I devoured this book in one sitting, watching a marriage of convenience turn into long lasting love
This is a Finn Factor universe book which has recently been added to the Finn's Pub Romance series, even though the couple in question never set foot in the pub during their book. This book pretty much explains what happens at the end of, Third Time Lucky (Finn's Pub Romance #3) and expounds upon it. Enjoy!

My head is still spinning. Princess Tani will get her prince. And provide to her family that women know what they want in life. Even if old traditions says woman can't make it in world without a man because they knows best. Emerson felt the Wayne's click for Tanisha. Tanisha must provide to her brothers and family that they wrong. She makes own decisions about her life. Cause women rules the world. With M'Baku by her side and propose of marriage by setting her own rules cause lost of a leg won't stop her. Only Emerson pride and ex-wife can destroy that. Princess Tani (not really a Princess, all the children believes she is with her collections of tiaras) have fight on her hand. But with a help of two wishes from two little boys to Santa who knows what the holidays will brings.
So love this story and all the other Family Finn's stories. That I read them from beginning the first book to the spinoff every time Ms. Alexander decided to hit her fans with a fix of our love for Irish pub family who take love, siblings rivalry to a whole new level and togetherness what's not to love. IT ALL OR NOTHING the Family Finn motto.
No cliffhanger Standalone though part of a much larger series Told from both POVs Marriage agreement turned real love
I loved both of these characters. Tanisha is the strong, independent woman who also has certain insecurities. Emerson is the strong, single dad fighting not to lose his kids.
They come together to help fix both of their situations and end up falling for each other in the process. His kids add a great dynamic to the story as well.
For a novella it was jam packed. Had me hooked from the first page to the last. I absolutely loved the surprise at the end as well.
Only thing I wish is that it was a full length novel because I wasn’t done with this family. Can’t wait for more books to come out around the Finn’s and the Wayne’s.
This was a sweet little holiday romance with a couple of returning characters that of course we're cheering for. I really liked Tanisha and Emerson together. Sure, their arrangement starts out a little unconventionally, but both of them admit that they are attracted to each other from the start. Tanisha is lovely with both of Emerson's boys. All of this story is just a case of everyone working out how to make this relationship happen when it's not what either expected. Arranged for a purpose, but ultimately attraction and love win out. And of course we get to drop in on a few of our favorites from the Finn world. :)
Even though ppl might want to read this book as a stand alone- its so much better if you read all the Finn Pub Romances even all the Finn series a lot of of the characters overlap & u really get the full feeling of happiness when you realize how everyone`s related...... love the Waynes in this book especially all the Wayne woman in full force plus OMG- Emerson is sexy as all hell- who knew the quiet father of 2 had such a dirty sinful mouth must read for all finn,Wayne,& JD fans 5 stars!!!!!@@@
I would highly suggest reading the Finn Pub #3 book first as this is a novella that takes place at the end of that book. Written in dual first person POV. A few good sexy scenes and a little humor. Likable characters and a little holiday family fun.
Addictive, well-written with some excellent dirty talk Addictive. Well-written. Engaging, funny and relatable characters with a story that will pull you in and not let go until the last word. And some very sexy dirty talk. But by then, if you hadn't already read the entire series you will need to rectify that as soon as possible.
Another great addition to the Finn/Wayne/JD family stories
Another successful addition to the Wayne family stories. This book delivers what I expect from Finn universe books: fun, likable characters, Finn/Wayne and JDs families, and lots of sexy times. The book might stand alone but would be a lot more fun after having read the Finn Factor and Finn Pub series.
Wedded to a Wayne: Fantastic writing! I loved Tanisha and Emerson. They were the perfect match for each other. I liked the whole concept of the story! I loved how the boys got a long so well with Tani right away. It was a great story and a hot romance. I love all the Wayne's and Finn's.
Oh my gosh love Tanisha Emerson. Yes you need to read this story because you will be smiling for days after. You will secretly be asking for more but you don’t want to be greedy. Will I re-read? Yes. Do I recommend? Most def. enjoy more of the Wayne family and friends
A little sex, no interference from Finns and minimal from the Waynes. Sounds like teasing for more foster brother romances and more Jae teasing. This time around the story was focused on the duo and princess Tani was strong, although the kids were adorable.
