Holy crap I love this book! It goes through every single Christmas horror from 1934 right up to 2019. I thoroughly enjoy his reviews. There was even a Kirk Cameron film in the mix. Why is a hardcore Christian movie like saving Christmas in here. Because apparently Saint Nicholas beating up Miss believers is okay. I absolutely love this justification! Some of these archives I didn't even know about and some were just classics! Some of the ones I love like Santa Jaws and the first Red Christmas Richard Mogg absolutely hated. It was really interesting to hear why. But then we agreed on a lot especially Cannibal Claus. I especially love how he highlights a lot of independent films that you just have a hard time finding and no one else talks about. It's also littered with interviews from some great independent actors like Mark Torgl and Sasha Graham. It also has some great underground industry leaders like Mark Polonia, Tim Ritter, and Gary Winston to name a few. Once again this guy absolutely killed it! I'm going to reference this book every year guaranteed!!!

This book is certainly stocked full of good recommendations and I enjoyed reading most of them.

I feel like I disconnect with the author when we reach the 2000s and there is a bit too much 'this was clearly written by a dude' passages.

A few editing errors as well.

Overall recommended to discover movies you've never seen before.
