Pet Whisperer P.I. #13

Grizzly Grievance

Charles is taking Angie away for a weekend camping trip. Unfortunately, Octo-Cat and Pringle stow away in the RV, too. And if that wasn't enough to ruin any chance of romance, the dead body that shows up in the picnic area is sure to take their getaway from relaxing to ruinous.

Molly Fitz is the quirky, cozy mystery pen name of USA Today bestselling author, Melissa Storm. And while she can't technically talk to animals, she and her doggie best friend, Sky Princess, have deep and very animated conversations as they navigate their days. Add to that, five more dogs, a snarky feline, comedian husband, and diva daughter, and you can pretty much imagine how life looks in the Casa de Fitz.

Molly lives in a house on a high hill in the Michigan woods and occasionally ventures out for good food, great coffee, or to meet new animal friends.

Been waiting for more Angie and Octo-Cat adventures and though this story is shorter as its part of a collection of Short Stories WHILE THE CAT’S AWAY it was highly enjoyable. After all the stress Angie's been under with work and her family, Charlies decides to take her away for the weekend. Octo-cat and Pringle sneak on board the camper van, so the quite weekend goes out the window. To make matters worse Angie finds a dead body. Can the find the killer and also help Gloria protect her family

In Grizzly Grievance, Charles takes Angie on what he hopes will be a romantic and relaxing camping trip. But Pringle and Octo-Cat stow away. Then Angie finds another body. Once again, Charles' plans are thwarted. Angie and her pets work to discover the murderer. As always, things are not quite as they appear. I can never put these books down until I get to then end. Then I am sorry I have finished it. I can't believe I missed this one. I thought I had read them all!

This book was amusing as all the others in this series. However, it was much shorter and the reveal of the murderer was very uneventful and lackluster. I love Octo cat and the gang, but each recent installment has been shorter and I feel like less involved. I am missing the character interaction and humor that brings the charm.

I first read this in the "When the Cat's Away" anthology, and at the time I wasn’t fully caught up with the series. Now that I have read the rest of the books leading up to this one, everything makes so much more sense. And that ending means I’m on the edge of my seat to discover what’s going to happen next.

Angie and Charles are hoping for a quiet weekend together at a national park. However, two of their animal companions decide to sneak aboard the RV they have rented.

As you can imagine things don’t go smoothly when a Grizzly mama bear asks for help and the human couple find themselves suspected of a crime.

Another delightful addition to the series.

Too much fun not to binge!

This is better than Dr. Dolittle, even though I Love, love, loved that book. Real animals doing real things! Well, sort of.😃

Good for mystery lovers. Good for animal lovers. Just plain good.

Angie and her boyfriend are off for a weekend alone in an RV. Of course, the cat and raccoon sneak their way into the RV. Off on a picnic, the raccoon meets a grizzly with a problem. Fun mystery.

Grizzly Grievance by Molly Fitzs is the 13th book in the Pet Whisperer P.I. series. Angie and Charles take off on a camping trip. They are surprised by the animals who have stowed away secretly. One they get to the campground they are thrown into a murder right away. With the help of the animals, who can talk to Angie, they investigate the murder. The interaction between Angie and her animals is precious. I love them all. This is such a cute series. I want to read them all.

Fun read

I love this series. The pandemic put a partial hold on the new books but they're back! I'm a huge animal lover and I "talk" to all kinds of creatures. Admittedly they don't understand me. Please pick up a copy of the Pet PI books. Molly has multiple others series also and all are fun and light reading.
