I saw this series and thought oh this looks like a yummy read with some intrigue and some hotness okay I'm good. A feisty little lady that will stand up and fight and oh yeah second chance romance I'm all in. And I was. The book starts off great gives you some stuff to look forward to. A nice hunt, hotty police officer (love a man in uniform). And oh yeah break my heart as the background of these two come to light. But before things can go either way they gotta get jiggy with it. Why oh why does it have to start so soon that everything now becomes about how hot they are and turned on and what they want to do to each other and details upon details of what they do and want to do to each other. Unfortunately the story gets buried by all the sex and dang it the story is good. I'm going to try the next one and hope the author lets the story build more. For those of you that want and enjoy the sex this will be right up your ally. Me personally I like a little more story and less sex especially in short reads.

This one starts with a decent story line and add some interesting character secrets. In all fairness, it does clearly announce that this is part one of a serial. I usually wait for all of the stories to release before I purchase them, but I did not want to miss this deeply discounted first release. It does end in a cliffhanger, as it promised, but not enough of one to keep me pulled into the tale. There were just too many distractions, it did not allow for the tension to build.
*I dropped a star for editing as it distracted from the story line.

Cliffhanger
It's a five part series, wish I would have realized that before reading this book.
Not My style of book - lots of thoughts and memories but the story doesn't progress.
Even with all the internal conversations, I didn't care about the characters.
The story bugged me from the start, things just don't make sense.

Interesting .
This is a fantastic story with so many twists and turns.Carrie and April are vacationing New York when April is taken.Carrie informs the Police of April disappearance when she sees Blake a friend from high school who is now a cop and promised to help find April.There are lots of distraction but overall a good read.

Cut soooooo deep is just wow
What can I say, I heard of this book from the author from others authors and let me say that I really did like it. So far this book author is new to me and I hope he is not the last time indeed heard from him. Can't wait for book 2

Wow really edge of your seat good
FANTASTIC so many twists turns and such fast paced action on top of a little bit of hot love in the middle too. This book is fantastic. The ending leaves you begging for more.

The premises were right but there was a whole mix going on. At first it was downplayed how they knew each other then things didn't add up. I was confused about their relationship and then I understood at the end that there more and cliffhangers, so it's a no from me!
