This is a pretty quick and easy introduction to Epistemology, the philosophy of knowledge. It gives a short overview about the questions the field is concerned with and why it's relevant. It's mostly rather objective in tone, but some of the opinions of the author shine through.

Most of this short book focuses on explaining the difference between Skepticism (the denial of possibility of all knowledge) and Fallibilism (there is no certain knowledge), which I found very illuminating.

I'm not sure how readable the book is for someone with no background in analytical philosophy, but I felt the author tries his best to keep it accessible.
