I received this book through another author's promotion in exchange of an honest review. This is the story of a girl growing up in dysfunctional family, as good by herself, from her view point. Through the hard times, the family fights, being homeless, and struggling to fit in at school. I understand this was a prequel, I'll be looking for. Author did a fine job, crisp writing, well rounded characters. A satisfy quick read.
