It’s a never-ending cycle. We cut each other down. And then we have fierce, angry sex. I hate her. She hates me. That’s what I keep telling myself over and over. The more I say it, the bigger liar I become. The raven woman has become the biggest pain in my ass. And also… the only one who seems to get me. She understands what it feels like to love someone you can’t have. We’re toxic. She craves the fight. And me? I just crave the adrenaline rush. Argue. Fight. Fuck. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I’ll keep going until one of us breaks. I have a bad feeling in my gut it’s gonna be me. She’s going to be my undoing. Break through my walls and bring me to my knees. And I’ll gladly let her without putting up a fight.
Wow!!! Lance and Camilla have known eachother since high school. During their short lived relationship then, something happened that was unforgivable. That brings us to the current love/ hate relationship between the two. Plenty of smoldering hot scenes in this latest masterpiece from C. Davis.
Lance and Camille were once high school sweethearts, but Lance’s betrayal of Camille turned them into enemies. Present day, both think they are in love with their siblings girlfriend/boyfriend. To dull the pain and pent-up frustration they seek out each other as f-buddies. Eventually feelings start to surface and the truth of the betrayal comes to light. I was hooked from the first pages of the book. The chemistry and sparks flying between the two characters are intense and immediate. It’s a hot steamy well written read. I highly recommend it for those who love enemies to lovers romance books.
holy hotness, Lance freaking Spelling. Here I thought Murdock was my man but hoo wee there is appeal in Lance. I enjoyed this story for so many reasons. The constant back and forth between Lance and Camilla. Its straight up forplay how they fight and argue but it goes so much deeper. They get eachother. They connect. Now if only theyd stop fighting long enough to see it. I can tell you this. You won't be the same once you meet the Spelling brothers. I recommend this book and look forward to more from C. Davis.
A high school romance gone terribly wrong. Although they still crave for each other, they keep fighting it and each other. A lot of passion a lot of fights a lot of angry sex. Enjoy this great story of one my favorite authors.
