A must read for those having to complete group projects

Very happy I found this book to prepare me for working in teams on projects in a master’s program I will be attending. Extremely well written and valuable to navigating the challenges of working in academic group settings.

What I liked about this book was the very real look at the complexities of group work - both the challenges and the growth it affords. However, I didn't always agree with its perspective. Sometimes it almost appeared to be bashing teachers for their inability to actually design, implement, and manage teamwork. Furthermore, very little researched-evidence was provided to defend the claims. That being said, I do think there are a few nuggets of wisdom that I might share with my students who participate in a semester-long group project.
