This was my first time reading a book from this author, and I't won't be my last. It was such an amazing thriller and I wanted a little more to the story, especially the ending. Although I'm a romantic junkie, this was a pleasant change in genre. I can't wait to read another book by this author.

Excellent

Wow really enjoyed this book, a very well balanced romantic thriller. Loved the characters, I have to say you had me fooled, wondering how she can be so forgiving? Kept me guessing can't wait to read the next book.

I'm always a fan of Stacy's writing and this was no different. This book had it all love, tragedy and heartbreak but also finding what was meant to be yours in the ending.

There were a few errors/typos and I figured out the murderer almost from page 2 but I still enjoyed this weird, twisted romance anyway. It is a great beach or Friday night read.

Kind of torn on this one

I've read about 100 romance novels in a row so it was tough for me to remember that I was reading a thriller. It's a good thing too because both of the men in this book are absolute trash. That doesn't really matter though because it is a thriller. Unfortunately I knew right away who the killer was so if kind of fell flat when it was revealed. I wanted to like it more than I did but it just kind of felt choppy. The characters were completely one dimensional. The story itself had several flaws. Firstly, there was absolutely zero evidence against Jason. I mean none. Not even a reason to suspect him yet he was somehow the only suspect. It just didn't make any sense. Later in the story things are revealed that would make him a suspect but the police had no way of knowing that when they zeroed in on him. Secondly, we are left not knowing how things turned out for any oc these people in the long run. Kind of disappointed with that because I would of liked to have known how everything ended up for them. I was gonna give it 3 stars but I ended up going with 2 because the name of her best friend changed multiple times from Naomi to Nadine. Sometimes kn back to back sentences. There's just no excuse for that. You've got to be able to catch that. Major fail. I'll definitely check out some more thrillers but probably not from this author.

This author does not disappoint with her books storylines. I was trying to guess who was the person that had killed Paulette in the storyline and the other’s that were murdered also. When I got to the end I was so surprised and did not see it coming as to who did the killings and why.
Stacy-Deanne does not disappoint with her BWWM Romance, mystery and suspense storyline. The characters were well developed and you can feel their raw emotions of love, hate, sadness, anger, betrayal and craziness. I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster and didn’t know who to believe or even feel sorry for. Jason Woods, his wife Sharice Woods or Detective Wyatt Bauer.
I highly recommend this book to read and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Unexpected

Great characters. Excellent plot. This story was a page turner. Just when you think you figure things out, you realize you don't. Sharice, Wyatt and Jason. This triangle is intense. You have a storyline that has murder, intrigue, cheating, and mental health issues written in a way that holds your interest. I couldn't put the book down. Really enjoyed reading this book. Loved the little twist at the end.

Sharice and Jason's marriage was barely holding on by a thread after losing their only child in an accident. Now with the murder of a beautiful woman and Jason being named as the prime suspect, how can their marriage possibly survive? Matters are made worse when the detective who is meant to be investigating the case shows a keen interest in Sharice. This was a heck of a ride and kept me guessing right up till the killer was revealed. Simply brilliant.

This story of Sharice and Jason Woods was a wild emontional one.. Their story has a lot of pain, sadness, betrayal and heartbreak. There is a lot of even though some of it is misguided. There is alot of twists and turns you would not see coming until the last 3 or 4 chapters. Good read. Tried not.to spoil anything for everyone.

WOW... even though I figured out "who did it" rather early, it was fun finding out how they were going to get to the same conclusion.

Definitely a thriller

Couldn't stop reading. Great twists. Hot love scenes. A change from regular romance books. Thanks for the ride, it was worth it.
