I read this a couple months ago and never updated :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love reading about and attempting to practice proper etiquette. In many ways, I think it shows people proper respect. There were definitely things I didn't even realize had a proper way of being done. It was a lot of fun.

I loved this book since I was child. Yes, it's outdated, but it's still a fun read.

some of these traditions are a little out of date, but I felt I learned very much from this small book. little tidbits, only visit someone in the hospital for 15-20 minutes, always tip 20% for a massage, gifts sent before a wedding are sent/addressed to the bride alone- after wedding it is sent to the couple, thank you notes for wedding/engagement/etc gifts must be responded to with a thank you note within 3 months of receiving the gift.

This was an interesting read. Even though the author tried to update Emily Post's etiquette for the modern times by adding sections about emailing, a lot of the information is out dated. Still, even after I scoffed about some of the practices, I ended up searching through the book a week later for the section, "At Time of Loss and Grieving." So, all in all, I think this book does have a use.

Currently serving as a bookend this book helped me so much through middle school and highschool and even when planning my wedding. I read it cover to cover and enjoyed it!
