Spurred (Steele Ranch) (Volume 1)
Kady Parks is a second-grade schoolteacher in Philadelphia. She and her sister, Bethany, lost their parents a few years before in an automobile accident. If was after their death, finding her birth certificate that she will discover that the man who raised her had adopted her after her Mom married him. And that Aiden Steele was listed as her biological father, a man she had never heard of. The plot will have Kady coming to Montana after a private investigator and attorney for that late Aiden Steele track her down. She will also learn over the course of several phone conversations that she has four other half-sisters by Steele. Meeting her at the airport in Billings will be Cord Connolly, PI and Riley Townsend, attorney. Both men know immediately that they are going to claim her. There is an instant connection between the three, but Kady will be overwhelmed by their dominance and control and try and fight it. These men don’t back down from what they want, and that is Kady, and she will willingly acquiesce before the night is out. “I was wanton, wild and completely out of my norm. It was heaven.” The story will take on some life and death when the ranch house is broke in to, but Kady keeps her head on and calls for help and her men. The tale has the mystery of who, what, why, when and where of the break-in that will be revealed in due time. Cord and Riley won’t let her stay at the ranch and will take her into town to their place. The mystery will unfold, and during the threat, so will the relationship between these three, as it will escalate and feelings will be shared. “I wouldn’t have called it love at first sight. No, that was too cliché. It was a connection, a bond, that went soul deep with them. Only groans and gasps, sighs and cries of pleasure were left. I did come. I couldn’t do anything else, caught between my men. Protected—sheltered—loved—pleasured.” The story has several sizzling hot, intense and explicit sex scenes between Kady, Cord, and Riley that will include voyeurism, and ménage. I look forward to more stories in this series. As always, there is a great cast of characters, plenty of interaction, the element of danger, and the happily ever after ending we all love to see.
Wrangled (Steele Ranch Book 2)
Penny has just completed her masters, and already her mother is on her case to get her dissertation ready for her Ph.D. and also to push her to accept a job. All she wants to do is take the time to go to Montana, get away from her family, and maybe find her paternal roots, and meet her half-sisters. She feels like her life has been a lie that he mother knew and kept from her. Well, it is time she took the reigns and control for her future, even if it goes against the Vandervelk way. Jamison and Boone knew as soon as they met Penny that she was “the one” but Jamison has been fighting it hard. He is 38-years-old, and she is twenty-two. But after three days, he calls Boone and tells him to get to the Silky Spur; it’s time to claim their girl. Good thing they showed up when they did because a stranger was mauling her against her will. But the night will come with some more surprises too. “God, this is crazy, but yet, I want you both. For more than one night. For—everything.” “Would you believe me if I said it was love at first sight, with both of them?” The chemistry between the three sizzles on the pages and for the first time in her life, Penny knows what it feels like to be wanted, needed, loved, cared for, cherished, desired, and Jamison and Boone shower her with praises, caresses, and plenty of orgasms. “Marry us, Kitten. Be our wife. To have and to hold and everything else.” –Boone “But what Boone said was right. They hadn’t said the words, but they’d shown me their love. In everything they did, in every look, touch, breath.” For the first time in Penny’s life, someone asks her what she wanted, what her dreams, goals, and ambitions are. While trouble is on its way but she won’t be alone. Just because her mother and stepfather have clout and influence, that hasn’t given her happiness. “I might be a Vandervelk on paper, but my DNA screamed Steele.” The story has several sizzling hot, intense and explicit sex scenes between Penny, Jamison, and Boone. The men are very protective of Penny and are determined that she will have whatever she wants, and if her family disowns her, they will surround her with love and their families. Not only that, but she has already been embraced by one half-sister, Kady, and her two men, Cord and Riley. I look forward to more stories in this series. As always, there is a great cast of characters, plenty of interaction, the element of danger, and the happily ever after ending we all love to see.
Tangled (Steele Ranch Book 3)
Christina ‘Cricket’ Johnson was raised in the foster care system, abandoned by her mother and never knew her father. She works two jobs and has slowly been putting herself in nursing school, one class a semester. With car problems, she had to borrow money, and even though she paid it back, the loan shark is not calling the debt clear and comes after Cricket taking her to his seedy club and demanding she strip to pay the debt, and also side work of lap dances and sexual favors. Cricket escapes out of a bathroom window, but she can’t return to her apartment, she must get away to Steele Ranch. The plot will have Sheriff Archer Wade ready to call it a day when he is passed by a vehicle at 80 mph. When he pulls her over, she identifies herself as Cricket Johnson. Could this be the Cricket that Sutton, Lee, and Archer had a foursome with a year ago and she just vanished? Before he knows it, Cricket asks him to arrest her, holding out her hand for his cuffs. Learning she was on her way to Steele Ranch is a bonus because that is exactly where he was taking her, where Lee and Sutton are waiting. “The cuffs were the physical proof of this dominance, and he was right, I did want them on. I wanted him to be in control. The fact that he recognized that was heady. Surprising. Appealing. I gave in, gave over. Let go.” The story will come out about how she was kidnapped, and there was an attempt to force her into stripping before she escaped. Archer will use that with another sheriff’s office to make an arrest. The foursome will be back together, but things are still off. Sutton can be dominant during the day but always leaves at night, leaving her with Lee and Archer, and leaving her hurt and confused. “Fate? Coincidence? Serendipity?” “I didn’t want vanilla. I wanted Rocky Road. With fudge.” Cricket will meet two of her half-sisters and their partners, and not only that, both sisters, Penny and Kady, are pregnant by their men. For the first time in her life, she has a family, and not only that, she has three men who say they want her. Can she find happiness with these strong, dominant men and still have her future to be a nurse? “You’ve got yourself the trifecta of perfect men.” “They loved differently. They needed differently. Having three men wasn’t going to be easy, but I couldn’t imagine being without one of them.”
Hitched (Steele Ranch book 4)
The fourth daughter of Aiden Steele, Sarah Gandry, knew that he was her father, but it wasn’t spoken about publically, and he only would give her a nod when he saw her. Sarah hasn’t told anyone, and she even grew up in Barlow, Montana. Sarah has known Wilder and King since she was a young girl, but they were years older than her. That didn’t stop her having feelings for them. “I just wanted—them. I loved them, always had and now that they were sitting before me, knew I always would.” While Sarah will date both King and Wilder, after returning home from college, they are too vanilla for what she wants, and that is such a disappointment. She wants kink, interested in BDSM, and knew she needed more, wanted it wild and rough, even though she was a virgin, deep down, she had known for years. She will attend a BDSM event and what a shock for King and Wilder to see the woman they want, and the way she is dressed. That is all it takes for King and Wilder to take control, and take her to their room, where she will never use her safe word. One night of teasing without actual sex, honest talks, true confessions, and a marriage proposal is only the beginning. There are more secrets to come out, like her parentage, a change in her will, and marriage on Monday. Sarah is ready to acknowledge she is Aiden Steele’s daughter and will get to meet three of her half-sisters and their husbands who will all show up for the courthouse for the marriage. The marriage is off to a good start, but trouble is on the way. Sarah will not tell her money-grubbing mother that her father helped her out and definitely not that she married. Sarah doesn’t want anything to do with her mother and half-brother and detest the way they live and use people. Some people are nothing but trouble, like Sarah’s mother, secrets will come out, and it could cause problems for this new marriage. Sarah will prove that she is much stronger than most people give her credit for and her integrity and that of her men will make all the difference. “She loves us. Married us. She didn’t run. Now let’s go fix this.” –Wilder “I love you. I love both of you. I’ve loved you forever. I wanted you to know I give myself to you. Wholly. Completely. I don’t want to think about anything but your touch. I’m like a toy, being shared back and forth. I’d wanted kink. I wanted wild. I wanted dirty and naughty. I got it with these two. ” – Sarah
Lassoed (Steele Ranch book 5)
Sam and Ashe are contracted by Riley Townsend to help locate the final Steele Heiress. While these men have seen the other Steele sisters and their men, yes men like more than one, have an instant attraction and quick relationship, they sure don’t think it could happen to them. But then, when they find her in Boston, it isn’t just an instant attraction that draws them to Natalie, there is also a sense of protectiveness. “It has been love—and lust—at first sight for them.” Natalie loves her work, she not only enjoys the lingerie company, but she also has ideas for taking it into a sexier line. The only problem she has, is her boss, a married womanizer that gets handsy with her. What a shock to meet the two handsome men at the bar and they come to her rescue. The plot will bring Sam, Ashe, and Natalie together that turns into a night of first and unbridled passion. But the next morning, when their mission is revealed, she is upset, shocked, hurt, and angry. “I felt—embarrassed. Used. Tricked.” It will lead to a trip to Montana to learn more and meet her four half-sisters. The five girls all look different, favoring their individual mothers, but they all five had a backbone and a strong, feisty stubbornness that they must have inherited from Aiden Steele. When Natalie sees how possession and caring each of her sister’s men are, she understands Sam and Ashe better. While they may not have handled things properly, they truly cared about her and her happiness. “They had similar caveman traits as Sam and Ashe. Possessive, protective, and ridiculously in love.” The story will take on danger and a life and death situation that not only scares the five ladies but their men too. Weather, road conditions, and a highway known for accidents takes this tale down a slippery slope of fear. Will Natalie decide that she can make a life in Montana to be near her new found family, or will she go back to her job in Boston? Will more secrets be revealed that come as a shock to everyone involved? “I have no idea what I’m going to do for a job, but right about now, I don’t care. I have money saved, and well, Aiden Steele gave me the opportunity to figure it out. And, he brought me both of you. Without him, I’d never be here with you. I’d never found love. It’s time. I’m ready. I choose both of you.” “I meant what I said, Natalie. This is love. This is everything. That’s it. Take us both. You can’t do anything but feel. Let your men take care of you. Love you. Make you feel good.” “This was it, the most amazing thing. Sex made the bonds of love strong, but this, with both of them, was the most intense thing I’d ever felt.” Having read all five books, it is with mixed emotions to know this is the end. It was fun seeing how each of the five half-sisters will be found and brought together. How they each find not a man, but men to make their lives fulfilled. I look forward to the next series by Ms. Vale.
A short novel but cute story about a teacher going to Montana and finding two cowboys. A delight of a quick read.
Wrangled 4.75 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
This was a delight of a cowboy romance and such a good story. I loved this grouping and the love that I felt coming off the page, it was a bit instalove but well done regardless.
Tangled 2 stars ⭐️⭐️
I don’t need romance to be believable but this was preposterous and for such a quick read would have needed to be a lot longer to justify the leaps the reader needs to take to get behind this grouping.
Hitched 1 star ⭐️
This is book four in the series and honestly it doesn’t feel that different to the others I read before it. Cowboy romances are great but there needs to be something outdoors to make it.
Lassoed 1 star ⭐️
This felt very similar to book four and a sad end to the series that there wasn’t a grouping to be excited about.
