My first winter at Crystal Wing Academy brings frigid weather, intense magical classes, and…a hunter. After defeating the nightlace vine eager to kill every outling on campus, I’m feeling cocky. But nothing ever goes smoothly for me, does it? The good news first. I’ve not only figured out how to ride an aldakor, I’ve convinced the naiad living in the moat I can be trusted. You might say I’ve got an in with magical creatures. And I’ve found a new best friend who’s awesome, even if she’s keeping secrets. The bad news? Donovan’s bespelled. If I don’t break his curse, we’re doomed. And, in my class, Magical Horticulture of the Adding the D to Deadly, I accidentally freed a beatleycarne, unleashing the deadliest prankster known to the fae world. Need to catch that baby and lock it up fast before the Academy collapses around me. Seems like I’m fighting one crisis after another. Then someone unexpected emerges from my past. And the person responsible for the nightlace murders? She wasn’t working alone, and the wizard isn’t finished with me yet. With the beatleycarne wreaking havoc on my life, Donovan bespelled, and someone determined to kill me, I need to harness every strand of power I can find. Because a battle’s coming and only one wizard will emerge the victor. Unraveler is the third book and final book in the young adult Crystal Wing Academy series.

You likes meeeeee!

So cute! The ending is totes adorable. The bad guy was a twist I only halfway expected. Alex broke my heart and surprised me. Such a confounding little creature with the heart the size of a dragon.

After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story.

This was an amazing conclusion to the series. While book 1 focuses on academy life and excellently builds the magic academy story, and book 2 focuses on mystery and suspense, trying to track who was killing the outlings, book 3 mashes it all up with even more intrigue and suspense. This time, things are trickier for Fleur – but that just makes things so exciting. I just loved this book, I loved the major twist and reveal, the writing style and the story itself. I may have said this before, but the magic academy trope is becoming more popular this day and age, but the author has really created a masterpiece in this genre. Not only that, but all the books are spectacularly well written and engaging in a way that makes you not want to put the book down. My expectations have all been met and exceeded with this conclusion, and this series as a whole.

4.4 stars.
The bespeller is at it again when they bespell the next creature they plan on using for class. She ends up getting hurt and everyone says the only options are cut off your hand or die. Her reaction to this is extreme, and it can be down right disrespectful to any amputee out there.
We have a great group of friends, a prankster out to kill, a deal made to save her hand, a boyfriend who introduces himself every time he sees her, a girl who wants said boyfriend, mean tricksy mermaids, a secret sister, 2 more student dead, some other awesome friends from doors to a dragonfly to an adorable three headed pup, a new mentor, lots of catching up to do to reach level five, two reveals, and a battle. I was a tiny bit disappointed in the end. I was hoping for something more epic in the romance department but in the end it was still just, "I really like you". The whole book was heartbreak and anguish and I can't get an I love you?

Twists & Turns, Surprises - Good & Bad!!😱😢🙈💥 3.5 Stars 🌟
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Crystal Wing Academy: Book Three, Unraveler

A lot happens in this conclusion!!😳 The twists & turns with the characters was really well done. Fleur was amazing & amazingly stubborn, as usual. But this time it became unbelievable to me, unfortunately.😔 I loved the entire world build, it's really dynamic. The magic & creatures are magnificent.😍

It was enjoyable but it all felt a bit too convoluted to me, almost like it was trying too hard!😔 One of the things we've been waiting for since the start was over almost before it began, I didn't understand why it was so under utilised if I'm honest.
Most of Book #3 was on point thankfully!!🙏💕 I'll be looking forward to Tria's spin off series.🎉

Didn’t get it

I stopped caring about the heroine when she was willing to die for her hand. I just didn’t get it. Normally, typos and missing words don’t bother me, but maybe because I didn’t care for the storyline they were bothersome.

Awesome Series

The whole series was amazing. Though I am past the young adult phase of my life, this is a series that can be read by readers of any age.
All three books were amazing. Books one and two had mini mysteries all their own, which kept me on the edge of my seat. There was, however, the biggest mystery which ran through all of the books and concluded beautifully in the third book. There were a a few things I figured out on my own, but not without a great deal of thought.
It is so hard to tell much about this story without giving things away, so I will just say it is so much more than just the blurb written about each book and well worth the cost to buy the whole series. Nothing was rushed, not even the ending, which often happens.
There were happy moments, sad moments, moments that made me angry, and moments that made me cry especially at the end. The villain in this final book was not anyone I would ever guessed would be the ultimate villain of the series, but looking back , there were clues sprinkled throughout the story.
I now love dragonflies and dragons even more than I did before. I want a pet Cerberus, and I find spiders more repulsive than I did before I read this book. I like stories with a lot of meat to them, and this book, as well as the whole series delivered.

UNRAVELER is the third book in the Crystal Wing Academy series. This is a continuing series and must be read in the order of release.

This series has been fantastic from the beginning, but still the best was in this last book. I loved every minute of the wonderful mysteries as they were presented and slowly resolved.

Plenty of mystery, a light romance, and a ton of heart! I couldn’t have imagined a better finish.

This may be the last book in the Crystal Wing Academy series, but there is going to be a spin-off that follows Tria to the Darkwater Reformatory. We’re not leaving this world of witches and deadly creatures anytime soon!

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Mildly Interesting But Predictable

This is a series where the heroine is a teenager with very little life and magical experience, yet only she can save the world because all the adults are either evil or incompetent. As a middpe aged woman, I find this unbelievable. The heroine also, too conveniently, happens to see everything suspicious that is happening around her. How many times can I be expected to believe the heroine just happens to look out the window and sees people going into the woods, a place they aren't supposed to go? She doesn't have a habit of staring out of windows, so it is not believable. She doesn't grow as a character, and the whole story is so predictable that it's laughable. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because the plot was mildly interesting.

The last installment of the story.
After losing Donovan to a bespellemnt
Fleur has now a spell who his forbidden her to flit, attacked by a prankster and on top of that could die because of Serum on her hand.
She made a deal with Katya ( even though everyone has told her it wasn't a good idea)

I would have love to see the king and fleur at the end.
And see how Tria discovered her lineage with Fleur.

One question stay unanswered : is Blaine still alive and if Cloven sons died 20 year ago how is it possible that Bastian had two daughter after that ( I would have like to have an explanation)

I enjoyed reading this story till the end

Wonderful end to an Amazing Series!

I absolutely loved every moment of this story. Apart of me is so sad to see it come to an end. But also I am so happy to hear that there will be a spin-off to this series! So looking forward to reading that once it comes out! I can’t recommend this series enough. It is by far my favorite supernatural paranormal Academy series. It has everything that makes for a wonderful addicting read! I have to admit I really hope that I’ll see some of the characters from here in the next new stories to come.

Awesome last book

I was really happy with this series. Again it had me on my toes until the end. I thought I knew who was causing so much trouble but I didn’t get it completely right. That’s a amazing book to me; when it’s not predictable.
I really liked the character development throughout this book and even more of the interesting creatures.
I would’ve liked a bit more with Donavon even in the end but at the same time it was really nice having such a friendship focus over all.
Highly recommend this series!

Oh wow, what a finish. I had no idea where the story would take me next and was put through the ringer a bit. Several mysteries solved and what an amazing heroine Fleur is.

The author creates some amazing creatures and plants in her stories that make me sad I don’t love in this world.

Great academy series, very light on the romance if that bothers you but still very enjoyable.

Disclosure: I had the opportunity to read an advance copy of UNRAVELER in exchange for an honest review

UNRAVELER concludes the CRYSTAL WING ACADEMY series, for fans of Harry Potter and other great Academy novels. After the cliffhanger in book 2, I was excited to get my hands on the finale to see the conclusion to Fleur's adventure. I wasn't disappointed. Great friendship, a cute love interest, and magical mystery all combine in this book. I absolutely loved it!

Bravo!

I've read so many iffy books lately, this one caught me by surprise. Very well done, although I'm still wiping tears out of my eyes and mildly cursing the author for making me cry. I'm stoked for Darkwater Reformatory too. This universe is well written with great character development that kept me guessing right until the big reveal. I'd give it more stars if I could, Thank you!

Such a sweet ending

I had a lot of fun with this trilogy. The characters were fun and feisty, annoying and elitist, or downright creepy. Yet they developed and grew over the trilogy and by the end I was happy with what happened.

Love Capria so much - for a Cerberus puppy as big as a small house - and Alex... oh, that broke my heart. Still, the ending made up for that with what had to be one of the sweetest endings I’ve read in a while.

“It’s said that, in a time of great need, the crystal dragon will come to life, take wing, and defend the one it cherishes most.”

An inspiring ending to a marvelous trilogy! I so enjoyed Fleur's adventures. She seemed to have all kinds of bad luck. However, she develops some good friends. The author wrapped up the story in a manner that leaves you wanting to read more of her writing.

Oh my gosh. Of all three books this one was my favorite there were twists and turns I was not expecting at all and some that had me yelling out “what the Fae?!” There we’re reveals that made me so happy and excited! I loved this so much and I shared some tears too. I still want a Capria of my own. I look forward to the next series from This author following Tria!!

Wow what an ending

This book was emotional and endearing. Emotional because Fleur had to go through so many moments that broke my heart. Endearing because she became closer with her friends and gained more. This book was one of the best endings that I have read. It caused so many emotions. Overall, this was an excellent series.

Excellent ending

I received an ARC copy of this book. I loved this whole series. This was a great ending to a wonderful series. I loved that a part of him remembered her. What annoyed me is everyone gave her half information throughout the whole series. Even with that this is one of my favorite Academy series and I will definitely be reading it again.

I'm sad....
This was the last book in this series.
I need time to deal with this book.
I loved all the little and big creatures in these books.
I loved Harry Potter, but I LOVE these more.
I also cried, Alex ...
This was one of the best books series I ever read in my life.
I'm gonna miss them all so much, that's what's making me a little sad.
This was sooooo good.

This has been an amazing series, one that I would happily reread! With a gripping plot full of mystery, suspense, intrigue, romance and some twists and turns I did not see coming, I read this in one sitting! I love the storyline, love the characters and I am sad to see it come to an end! Would definitely recommend!

Nope...
This was such a ridiculous book. The whole plot progression was based on miscommunication and secret keeping. So frustrating! I read to 40% then skipped and picked it up again at 80% and I think I did myself a huge favor! This book was made up purely from miscommunication and TSTL moments. Arghhh ... These are hours of my life I can never get back!

Good. This book and the ones before it are just full of Good. I. All the best ways.
This book has much magic I it, I felt I was transported to the parallel world. So much happens in this book. Yet, we get the ending it deserves.
If you want a series full of magic, friendship, and mystery, this is it. It’s not too heavy and not too light. A great fantasy world.

unexpected

I enjoyed this series. I was surprised and pleased by several of the plot twists. Loved the ending.
Only part I was confused by was her parents. Not clear who they were , how they met since the humans are in a “parallel world.
Hope her Sister has her own series that explains this.

There were literally so many amazing things about this series and I'm sad to see it end. I can't wait for the next series with Tria. This world and the characters were so well developed. I didn't know what to expect as the book went on. What great story telling!!!
