What a great looking cover. I thought of many things when I came across this book but it was rather mild horror. It's about Oberstleutnant Raus, a wounded German soldier. He is thinking of the past, his long lost girlfriend Lucie, the endsieg, the battle against the Russians, how the German cause got lost... what about Nosferatu? What about the strange doctors? Well, Raus received some blood reserves and the scenes with the doctors getting the blood are a bit gruesome. Overall an interesting story about WW2 but not too much horror. It was okay but I had expected something different.
An insightful and haunting rendition of the horrors of war on the Eastern Front during World War II. Atrocities occurred in both sides and this is n example of just one perpetrated by an officer in the medical corps.
