The photos in the book are a level that anyone could take, they are very hit and miss. Some are fantastic but there are a few that are completely out of focus and not artistically and many where more thought should've gone into composition etc.

Interesting read. Loved the inventive title. There were some beautiful photos between some very ordinary ones. Always beneficial to read and learn more from others.

A quick read and a nice guide for beginners or amateur hobby photographers alike. Most advice is intuitive but I did take note of a few things the author mentioned. If you only own a point and shoot camera some things might be over your head, but the author does a nice job or making everything very clear no matter what type of camera you are using.

Good tips for those who have trouble getting great pictures of their dogs (pets). Some tips seem like common sense but others are quite helpful.

I snapped up this book since it is hard to get good photos of my dogs and it gave me a lot of good ideas. It has a fun modern take on pup portraiture. :-)

Interesting pictures and ideas. But nothing too deep or technical.

Yeah, I know I don't have a dog, but all my neighbors do, and maybe I'll photograph them someday (I already do).
