Even with over 1.5 million copies of my books in print, I still feel like I haven’t written the perfect story. From my office in the woods of Northern Alberta, I’ll keep trying. Inspired by spectacular sunrises, breathtaking Northern Lights and long walks through wooded trails, the stories keep coming. I enjoyed this book which wasn't a safe, easy read. I enjoyed reading about handling a toddler with cerebral palsy, the adjustments a family has to make. The relationship between Rachel and Eli was fun to witness as the two began to trust each other. Carolyne Aarsen is one of my favorite Love Swept writers, and I usually enjoy her books.
This was a pretty good book. It was nice to see Rachel's story, after 'meeting' her when I read Meg's story. I liked the message of learning to let go of the control we think we have in our lives, and let God work His perfect plans for us. I wish more of the mystery aspect that was hinted at in the first book was brought out in this one. Maybe the next in the installment will shed some more light on that.
