I ran out of unread books, so I decided to read this "cash cow, sell-out, exclusive story" of the making of the Tank Girl movie. It had been sitting on my shelf since 1995!
As a Fan of both the Graphic novels and the 1995 movie I saw this on the world of books site and had to have it. I feel that tankgirl shaped a lot of my style choices as a teen. Lori petty the goddess that they are, embodiment of tank girls spirit for sure!! Love love love!!!! However I managed to put it away safe from myself 😂 until yesterday when I was tidying a random box and bam! There it was. Full of insights into the making of the movie and the early history of tank girl along with illustrations I remember so well by the amazing Jamie hewlett. I have always loved behind the scenes stuff. As a teenager I was one of those guys that would watch a movie twice, the second time with the director 's commentary track on lol. A fun afternoon spent with this read.
