The original plus two back stories are up to one colossal winner!!!!!

Several years ago I had the absolute pleasure to read the novel "Just Desserts" by Brenda Jackson that chronicled how three women found they had something in common that changed their lives both individually and collectively! Fast forward to 2020 and Mrs Jackson is joined by two other authors Ms Carmen Green and Ms Carla Fredd who broke down the background and upbringing of the other two women. "Just Desserts" focused more on Danielle's story and gave us enough on Alexandria (Alex for short) and Renee's stories to show how each handled their collective trauma. The back stories "This Time for Good" and "The Perfect Man" allowed us to get to know Alex and Renee and how they were able to be drawn into this trauma. The additional stories also gave insight on the men who supported each woman during this time and how that support and respect for each woman by each man morphed into real love. Ladies take individual and collective bows because you three hit these stories out the proverbial park. It is just amazing how each story fit so seamlessly together. If you did not know better you would think one author wrote all three stories. That is a great testimony to how well you ladies collaborated on this project. I enjoyed these stories and could not put it down until I was finished. Great job ladies a really great job to be sure!!!!!

Sisterhood

I really enjoyed these 3 stories even though were a few discrepancies in the series. Alex,Renee and Danielle stories were very entertaining although I wanted to beat Alex's father and brother. Tristan, Hunter and Chris were just right for them.

Excellent

What an interesting story. The lives of three people and how they each dealt with the insensitivity of one man who entangled their lives forever. Well done!
