For as long as people can remember, dogs have been leaping to their death over the walls of Overtoun Bridge.
Reporters from around the world covered the story for a while, and scientists have conducted tests but were unable to find an explanation. Locals believe the place is cursed.
On her way to the pub to seek a cure against loneliness, Emma sees her neighbor's border collie become the latest victim of the strange phenomenon. When she brings back two men from town to investigate, the mystery deepens and she might just discover the real reason the dogs are leaping to their deaths... but will she survive to tell the world?
Overtoun Bridge is a poignant story about tragedy and disappointment set in the bone-chilling Scottish countryside.

Originally I gave this 3 stars... then I researched the bridge on the internet and gave it a fourth. Read the story first, but I found the real bridge facts even more chilling! Thank you for an enjoyable read and introducing me to this strange place.
