I just love these shorts. It’s an amazing way to see the internal thoughts of the sub-characters and how they are dealing with life and recent MC troubles. The club is still reeling from Travis’s betrayal. Jagger is taking the situation particularly hard. The author has given us a soul searching, touching story on Jagger and his fight to understand, while what Travis did was the worst and he paid the ultimate price but where is the forgiveness is the hearts of his club brothers? Why does no one understand the heartbreaking loss like he does?

Kudos to the author for this awesome storyline 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for another must read short for anyone who has read the Heaven Hills MC Series.

Love

I knew Jagger was going to make me cry alot. My heart was with him and Bianca. It hurt to see them struggle with their feelings. What Travis did was unforgivable and left everyone with mixed feelings and emotion.

God Girl I'm loving these novellas but they are killing me. Lord do I ugly cry alot while reading. This series is unbelievably amazing and I never want to say goodbye.

Your going to need to write them forever.

I loved reading how Jagger was dealing with what happened in Fury. He’s harboring so many different and conflicting emotions and can’t really process it all. Jaggers pain is profound and was much more then anyone realizes. I can’t wait to see where these novellas will go next

This is the fifth book in the Heaven Hill MC Short Series by Laramie Briscoe.

Jagger Stone (John Edward ) is a member of the Heaven Hill MC in Bowling Green Kentucky. He’s married to Bianca, the love of his life.

Jagger loved Travis Steele like a brother and he’s having a hard time dealing with his death and the fact that everyone is acting like he never existed. Regardless of the man Travis was at the end the fact he wasn’t even given a funeral is disrespectful.

Travis did a lot of good for the club and they only seem to remember the bad which is pissing Jagger off. His sister Christine who was Travis’ wife has even seemed to write him off.

Jagger feels all alone and it’s even causing friction between him and Bianca. He can feel the judgment and disapproval from everyone including his wife. He also blames Caelin a little and wonders if he had a choice when it came to killing Travis.

Tyler convinces Jagger to actually have a talk with Caelin because he might be surprised with what he finds out.

I loved this story! It shows the other side of betrayal and the repercussions of it on those that are left behind to deal with the deception. Jagger feels that he is the only one who has not come to terms with what Travis did to the family and he feels that the rest of the family and MC are not happy with him because he doesn’t see the betrayal or death of Travis as being a good thing. Little does he know that he’s not the only one struggling with what happened that day.

I loved that this story was written just like Christine’s story. All of these characters are dealing with their own demons after Travis betrayed the MC, but Jagger’s morals as well as his regret for not seeing problems before they got out of hand are causing problems with is marriage as well as his relationship with the MC family, and if he doesn’t figure things out soon he could lose the love of his life and his brothers. It’s a good thing that he finds his way and figures things out and is able to regain his family. I give this short story a 4.5-star review and suggest that you read this short story as well as the Heaven Hill series.

As the club continues to work through the thoughts and feelings left over from Travis' betrayal, kidnapping of young Justice and his subsequent death by the hand of a young Caelin; Jagger is fighting for the memory of his brother and friend and the forgiveness that should be given to the man he once was. These shorts, to me, seem to be about the healing of the club after what when down with Travis and the aftermath for those left behind. There is so much healing that must take place within the club, from the young victim, to the oldest members and each has to do so in their own way. But one thing is a consent; communication is always an important factor. Will they all truly ever completely heal, we will have to wait and see.

I love this series and I love these shorts and how the author lets us see how this incident has effected the members and their families.

Exceptional read and I cannot recommend this book, series and series of shorts highly enough.

The Heaven Hill shorts pick up where Heaven Hill Generations left off, giving us what happened next for those characters, and this fifth short is all about Jagger. This one isn't so much a romance as it is one man coming to terms with his grief and what it all means for him. That's not to say there isn't any romance, because Jagger and B certainly love each other even when they don't see eye to eye. Like its predecessors, what Jagger lacks in pages it makes up for in emotion, and he pulls at the heartstrings as he comes to grips with how he feels about all that's happened to this point. As this series of shorts is a follow-up to Heaven Hill Generations, I would suggest you read those books first to fully understand what's going on now with this terrific group of characters. I'll admit that I rarely read MC romance, but there's just something about the Heaven Hill MC, and I can't get enough of these characters.

Roller coaster of emotions, Jagger gave us all something to think about. He is in so much pain from the loss of Travis and no one took time to recognize it or once they did they never tried to understand it. I think we all kind of forgot about the Travis from before Justice…..the person who loved to work on computer and hack into stuff for the club. Jagger is drowning in a sea of grief and is reaching out for someone to pull him back up, thankfully B is there to help him back up. The ring run in with Caelin was hard to read, readers could feel the pain in the scene, and we want so badly to keep the club harmony together and moving forward not against each other. This novella is a must read, it contains so much in such a little amount. I still feel as if there is unfinished emotions with the whole club and hopefully we can watch them work through them and become a little more whole again.

Jagger was so good. It was short, emotional but still full of the family vibes I love seeing in Heaven Hill. I feel like this book is perfect in how it shows the battle people feel to forgive those who hurt them, especially when that person is family too. Jagger has forgiven but now he’s mourning someone that everyone else isn’t ready to mourn or forgive. This short story also shows the importance of forgiving yourself for not seeing what you may think was right in front of you. This might be one of my favorite shorts (Caelin and Justice still have my top 2) and I love the closure we are getting along with our favorite characters. Can’t wait for the next short! And I hope in Caelin’s story we get to see more of this new friendship between Jagger and him.

WARNING: If you have not read Fury DO NOT read this book!

Jagger is book 5 in the Heaven Hill Shorts series, while most of the previous books have been based in the future Jagger’s story is close to the events that took away his patched Brother and Brother In Law.

Struggling to come to terms with what happened Jagger’s relationships with everyone are starting to crumble and finding his place in the club is hard. While life will never be the same for him, Jagger starts to find peace in the events of that day.

I really enjoyed reading Jagger’s story, it was a completely different perspective and one that I think we really needed.

Jagger was the BEST of the shorts so far IMHO and that's saying something considering each story has been AMAZING!!! In Jagger we really see the cost and effect of Travis's actions. We get to see how one person's actions ripple through everyone's lives and affecting people in profoundly different ways. Jagger is really struggling with how to make sense of what Travis did. There is a really powerful and profound message in this story about forgiveness that I could really learn from. Ms.Briscoe continues to prove that she's incredibly gifted at telling stories that grab your attention as well as your heartstrings. I CAN'T WAIT to read the next book by this super talented author!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book and I would definitely recommend this book!!

Wow, that was my first thought after finishing Jagger. After getting snippets of this short novel, I couldn’t wait to get the full story. Jagger will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. This story takes place two months after the aftermath of Fury. It deals with the emotions Jagger is feeling after what happened in Fury and his reactions to those around him. I won’t give anything away, especially if you haven’t read Fury. But I will say, I was so glad to see Jagger’s thoughts and how he was looking beyond what happened in Fury and questioning why it had happened. I love these little snippets into the lives of Heaven Hill. I received an authors copy and I have left an honest review.

This was a quick read that I had finished in one sitting. This brief look into where Jagger is with the events that took place at the end of Fury - IF YOU HAVE NOT READ FURY then go read that first before reading the short stories or else you will be lost. This brief look give fans of Heaven Hill a look at where Jagger is and how he is dealing with the events that took place. It is also a great short read about forgiveness and grief. This was an amazing quick read that is on the emotional side and not what I expected from the character Jagger but overall fit him well. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

I'm loving these shorts by Laramie Briscoe. This installment, we have a look inside Jagger's personal conflict 2 months after the event of FURY. If you have yet to read FURY, please skip all the short stories as they're not only spoilers, you wouldn't truly appreciate them.

Jagger is the brother of Christy and was Travis best friend. He's in a turmoil as he felt no one around him would rather forget about Travis rather than mourn for the man he once was. Another beautifully written short story as Laramie Briscoe somehow managed to convey Jagger's anger, conflict of emotions, guilt and frustration.

It was an emotional read and I couldn't wait for more.

Jagger is book #5 in the Heaven Hill Shorts written by the talented author Laramie Briscoe. I truly recommend that you read "Heaven Hill Generations" before starting this series. Jagger's is a fast pace and very emotional read. This plot takes place two months after the outcome in Fury's book. It deals with Jagger's journey through grief, pain, anger, doubt and sorrow. We get to see a bit how some of the Heaven Hill family endure the situation that they all went through. No spoilers! I love this Heaven Hill Shorts and can't wait for the next one. These tiny slices of life from Heaven Hill may be quick to read, but they pack the emotional punch of a speeding freight train. After the events in Fury, I’d only really seen one side of the man, the dark side. Jagger asked me to acknowledge that life is made up of lots of colors, not just black and white. To realize that even though so many were crying out for blood, there were still those who remembered the good man now gone. Jagger’s grief and conflicted emotions nearly brought me to tears of my own. I won’t even begin to guess what’s coming next. All I know for certain is that I can’t wait to see it.

Can’t get enough of these short novellas! This novella focuses on Jagger, also known as Travis’ brother-in-law, and how his death affected him, which was more different than the others in the MC because of his familial relation to him. I was interested to see how Jagger really struggled with Travis’ death and rationalizing what he did and the forgiveness he needed to provide him. I can’t wait for the next novella installment to see who the focus is on and how they handle the situation seeing as each book has a different reaction and handling of the overall situation within the MC.

Jagger was a great 5 star read.

After Travis’s betrayal of the club and his death at the hands of a younger MC brother, Jagger is struggling with how everyone seems to be dismissing his death and not treating him like someone who was family. Everyone has been affected differently and are dealing in their own ways. Will Jagger be able to move forward and get some peace?

Overall this was a great read showing the emotional side of what can happen when a brother is lost and how to forgive after betrayal. Laramie has once again pulled me in with her writing and I LOVED it. I can’t wait to read more.

Loved Jagger!
We get a different side to the main story with jagger. Everyone else sees a villain and Jagger just sees a friend who nobody wants to remember. I really loved the perspective of this short on the whole story. Jagger and Bri are great and her struggle to see what Jagger was feeling is kind of all of our struggle but in the end you get where he is comings from. I know this review is kind of vague but unless you have read previous books and shorts being more specific spoils the whole thing. Do yourself a favor and start at the beginning Of the series. You won’t be disappointed. If you caught up then you NEED this short!

Amazing Book

Omg this book was so emotional that I cried so many times. Jagged was going through so much pain over the death of his friend Travis but no one seemed to understand and that made him so angry. Bianca couldn't understand what Jagged was going through so they constantly argued about it. Will Jagged ever be able to get over what happened and will it continue to affect everyone around him. Another amazing book by Laramie who is an incredible author and amazing writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Emotional roller coaster from start to finish and I loved the ride!! Jagger just doesn’t understand why everyone is so ready to hate Travis when he has forgiven him. He just wants to mourn him without everyone coming down on him. Jagger doesn’t feel comfortable anywhere even at home with the one person that should see his POV and support him but doesn’t. These shorts take the main event from Fury and shows how it impacts everyone in the club in multiple shorts. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

I'm been trying to play catch up with the Haven Hill series but I've now read enough that this was a very emotional story of family, loss, and grief despite it being short. Laramie can really pack a punch in minimal pages and this is no different. I really felt for Jagger, he is trying to grieve when everyone else is still angry. Over the course of the story he is able to open up and talk it over B. Leading to understand each other feelings instead of keeping everything bottled up. I received an advanced copy to read for an honest review.

I loved this story. We get Jagger's point of view and how he is dealing with the aftermath and it breaks my heart to see how he is struggling. He remembers the man that Travis was before and its hard for him when no one seems to understand where he is coming from. Can he make peace with what had happened and how it happened. I myself felt like Jagger did with this and I emphasized with him. You can feel Jagger's pain when you read this story...I felt it right along with him. A phenomenal story one that I recommend hands down. I am loving all of these short stories...well done!

I really enjoy these short stories from the Heaven Hill Series. In this short we see what a hard time Jagger is having dealing with the aftermath of Travis’s betrayal and the impact it’s having on his life and his marriage. Jagger is struggling to deal with his emotions and thinks he is the only one still missing his friend. These short stories are showing how hard dealing with betrayal is for everyone involved. One person’s actions can affect so many different people for a very long time. I enjoyed reading Jagger’s story and seeing how he had dealt with everything that has happened.

Jagger is a wreck after everything is said and done. With a strong writing skill, Laramie does it again. She writes so well that all the emotions are clear and you feel everything Jagger is going through. What do you do when one of your best friend betrays everything you thought he was? What do you do when he dies at the hand of one of your brother's son?

Jagger is struggling with all the fallout from Travis' actions. He knows what is believes. He knows the He knows what he has to do, but doesn't know how. He has to figure out how to find that balance.

Can you be a good person who does a bad thing? Jagger is mourning his friend and struggling with defining years of being in a family to a single bad act. The situation is made more painful since Jagger feels alone in his grief. Can he find acceptance in his actions and those of the others that were involved? Jagger is the 5th novella in the Heaven Hill Shorts. It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series.

Well...
I guess I didn’t think about Jagger (Travis’ best friend) having issues with his death. I should have remembered they were close. But then again, Travis was married to Jagger’s sister so you would think he would Belk her side. At least, that’s what I thought.
This is a great bridge novella!
Sure let’s us know another aspect of the whole situation.
I can hardly wait to get into the nitty gritty on the next actual full length story!

While most understand why Travis had to die, Jagger is conflicted and still angry with the young man who ended his life. There are always good reasons why someone can't let go and yet sometimes it takes letting your guard down (and slugging it out) to move on and get past the bitter feelings.
As with the previous shorts in this series, Jagger was fast, over too soon and leaves you wanting more of the story.

These Heaven Hill shorts are quite simply a journey, one of grief that we travel along with each member of this special family. We get to experience firsthand the stages and emotions of loss, confusion, anger, and pain. Jagger's journey was amazingly heartfelt, a different view of the situation that they all experienced and how he deals with it. I am loving this deep dive into the aftermath that could tear them all apart as they choose to hold onto the love they all share. Simply amazing!
