I’ve never felt this way before. Seeing her but never having her is torture that even rivals my past... well, almost. I’m too dark, too broken. I never want to bring her into the nightmare that is my life. Just when I think I have found the one to chase away the darkness and heal my broken soul, someone tries to take what’s mine. I find I will stop at nothing to bring them down.
Freya
Having five brothers breathing down my back always made my love life nonexistent. But from the moment I met Hawk I knew he was my one; my soulmate. Yet he keeps pulling away even though the attraction is there. When an unseen predator comes calling, my savior may just be the one person that could destroy me. Strength, trust, and light are vital for us, but luckily I think I finally found the key to Healing What’s Mine!
These ladies did it again, I can honestly say book 3 is my top fave of the series. I fell in love with Hawk for being who is and the survivor that he is, well done ladies.
I did not think I could love a story in this series anymore than I did Irish and Luna's but wow Hawk and Freya well their story had it all , action, hot sweaty times and a storyline that made me read this is one sitting!!
Can we first discuss the fact the there are like 50 different spin-off series that can happen just from reading these first 3 books. We have the 5D brothers that were mentioned in the first two books but had a bigger part in this one because they were Freya's brothers. - Then we have this MC from Texas that we know is like Hawk's family but also because in book two Luna's best friend is dating one of the members. Now this CLIFFHANGER about how the Prez could be Blakely's father and how she was kidnapped/missing for like 10 -20yrs. -Also the fact that they hinted at something about Pixie and Mac in the previous two book about wanting kids but they don't almost hinting like they might have fertility issues and then they were brought back up in this book about being away with Pixie's family to deal with stuff. -Smaller side things I also noticed was Joey the lady that isn't deaf but doesn't talk and only used sign-language she was also mentioned in the previous books so I don't know if that was some type of foreshadowing for her in the future and then there is Bailey even though she is young at only 19 she works a Freya's shop and how Blakely and Freya saw her with a black eye "claiming she ran into a rack" so I don't know if she will also play some future role
Like I said this is just things that were running through my mind while I was reading. Now I'm going the read Tracker & Blakely's story.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Handling what’s mine is the third book in the ‘’hound search and rescue’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Hawk has had a far from easy life. Because of that, he doesn’t like being around women. When he meets Freya, he is instantly attracted to her but will he overcome his issues and give love a chance? Freya has a stalker that is getting more dangerous as time passes. She is attracted to Hawk but will love blossom between them? The chemistry between Hawk and Freya is clear to see and I liked them together. I absolutely loved how patient Freya was with Hawk because of his past. I loved Freya’s friendships with Doll, Luna, Pixie and Blakely. I also loved Freya’s overprotective brothers. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
She shines light through the cracks in his darkness
Wow, Autum Remington has done it again! The Hound Search and Rescue series continues to blow my mind and leave me in awe.
Hawk had such a horrid childhood, the trauma has left him with the inability to be touched or form a bound with a woman...but there is just something about Freya that calls to him. She is his One...he has to find away to move past the past.
Freya is dealing with a crazy nasty stalker and while that is a huge focus of the book what truly left an impression with me is her character. She is so compassionate and caring and it shows in how much her friends and family adore her and will do all they can to protect her from her stalker. But more so how she handles the challenges in her budding relationship with Hawk really speak to the kind of person she truly is, one in a million.
I'm looking forward to Tracker & Blakely's story next, it's going to be great. I see the potential for other books too, this series is going to continue to knock our socks off!
Read the first two books in the series, found this one interesting because of the blurb but didn’t want to dive into a third book in the series. I’m both happy and not that I did this. While the storylines are interesting and the books show great promise, they fall a bit flat. Things stay a bit superficial and it’s hard to connect to the characters. I have to say though, this being the third book, it’s showing improvement over the first two.
The storylines are very interesting, and will have me coming back for the fourth book in the series. I do hope that the “conflicts” get worked out a bit better though. I noticed in all books, multiple times: Drama happens, “A” gets mad, “B” is immediately sorry, understanding and/or apologetic, “A” is immediately forgiving, understanding and/or apologizes for getting mad takes the blame on themselves and “B” jumps in saying it’s their fault. And a whole bit of drama plays out in a paragraph or less.
This was yet another awesome book in the Hound Search and Rescue series by Autumn Remington. This story was about Hawk a severely broken yet kind hearted man and his woman Freya who is the only girl amungst five brothers all kinds of curvey and a beautiful soul who just so happens to have a stalker. I liked this book because it touched on a subject is deplorable and the Author brought light to it in a way that didn't make it seem shady . PTSD is a real debilitating , anxiety ridden effect of what childhood abuse can do to a person and the repercussions can last a lifetime. I love the characters in this book as I do the previous books and I look forward to reading Tracker's book next.
I love a wounded hero, it is guaranteed that I will read every single one I discover. I knew when we met Hawk in the first book that his story would be rough. It totally was and yet at the same time, I don't think it could have happened any other way. Freya is so sweet and wants to do whatever she can to make Hawk's life better. Once they get the initial misunderstanding cleared up an out of the way, things start to progress. Hawk doesn't fight his feelings too hard, thank goodness. The two of them together are just adorable and the way they deal with Hawk's issues was unique and sexy. I am loving this series and can't wait to see what happens next!
You are the brightness that shines through keeping the darkness away.
Oh damn. How could I give anything but 5 shining stars for this story. So good. I'm always looking for stories like the ones in this series. OTT, possessive, obsessed, non MW men who are brought to their knees by their girl and only have eyes for her. We don't see the H's being gross with OW in previous books. That makes me enjoy the stories even more with no hesitation to read the next in the series. Dual POV, dual virgin, talk of past smexual abuse towards H when he was a child, epilogue set for next book in series. Bravo!
I was really looking forward to Hawk’s story, because I wondered how the whole not touching would work. But I have to say it was intriguing and captivating, but also so emotional. Your heart just broke for him. And it brought to light the fact that abuse not only happens to girls but boys as well, so heartbreaking. I loved the characters though. Hawk, because he rose above his upbringing and became someone stronger. Freya, because she helped him get through it and because she was warm and so likable. Overall it was a charming read and a great addition to the series.
Healing What's Mine is so good... these authors have gotten better with each story in this series. This story gave me all the feels. Autumn Remington have sucked me into their little world they have created between the over the top personalities of their characters to the flowing storyline. I loved the male and female leads Hawk and Freya. Hawk has always been an interesting character to me and I needed to know his story. This is my favorite of the series so far. Happy Reading!!
Freya has a crazy stalker but Hawk is the first cop on arrival and it starts the roller coaster of emotions from there. He has watched her from afar and when trouble knocks he can't fight it no longer the pull is to strong, Freya is so sweet and patient while Hawk works thru his past and when they make it thru it's perfect! Loved this book and series can't wait for Trackers book!
This series is the bomb and each book is better and better. Freya sees Hawke and falls hard. Hawke doesn't understand his feelings because from childhood women have been a torture to him. This is a double virgin awesome book with a stalker and families that are there for eachother no matter what. You also get a sneak peek at the characters for the next book. Once you meet the characters of Hound Search and rescue you will be hooked.
Hot, sweet, heartbreaking, amazing!! These are just a few words to describe this book. Autum Remington has done a wonderful job with this series! Each book is safe, and an absolute must read!! Hawk comes from a heartbreaking past with demons to spare. Freya comes from a huge family and has the best heart. With a stalker on the lose these two overcome the odds. I would definitely recommend all of this authors book!!
Another really great book in this series. This is Hawk and Freyas story. These two are so good together. Hawk has been through a lot when he was a kid that left him not comfortable around people. Freya is just the person to help him with it because she is patient and is there for him. Now they have to figure out who is after her. Just love this series and really can not wait for the next book.
Wow!!! This series honestly keeps getting better and better. Poor Hawk I wanted to cry when we find out about his childhood. He really broke my heart . I loved Freya she was so sweet and understanding. This is one of those books that sucks you in from the very first page. I can't wait to read Blakely's book.
Absolutely love Hawk & Freya! Hawk’s childhood story almost broke me. Freya’s determination, compassion and love for him was so fabulous. The danger in this story was exciting and had me on the edge of my seat throughout. And the ending?! Oh my word!! Now I need Tracker & Blakely’s story ASAP.
This is Hawk and Freya's book and it picks up exactly where book two in this series picks up. These two are a very interesting couple together and being with Freya causes all his walls to crumble and his demons from the past to be released. This series gets better and better with each book. I can't wait to read more.
Oh my God.... just great. Couldn't put it away even for a second. I loved Hawks broken persona who was in need of Freyas healing. It was a sweet, sad and infuriating book . Loved the double virgin angle. And that cliffhanger.... come on I need the next one. If you liked the last two books you will love this one. And if you have not started the series you need to ASAP.
These authors with this series are nailing it. Hawk & Freya are so good for each other. Hawk having been thru so much horror as a child dealing with women and then Freya comes along & knocks him down. He has to work thru his demons. Someone is coming for Freya & he & the team have to be able to save her.
Hawke and Freya was such a pleasure to read. Hawke with such a tragic pass not truly knowing how a mother should treat their child. Freya always knowing a mothers love. Hawke over comes his inability to be touch when Freya the woman he loves is in danger. With love and patience Freya shows Hawke is is livable.
Love this series and can't wait to see what is up next from these authors! Hawk and Freya's story is so well written. I love who they overcome Hawks childhood problems and the love they both share for each other.
I devoured this book!! Same as the other 2 in the series! It is awesome...you can read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading the series! For hawk and freya -such a damaged soul and for her to just “get” him ..up won’t regret this purchase
Man this book was put perfection. I loved how even though yawn was feeling lost and dealing with his Demons he still let our girl in. It’s a double me Virgin book. BuT hawk has an ugly past. I can’t wait for what next.
Love this series!!! Hawk’s story is a great addition to this series, I wondered how Hawk would work through his demons to find his one, since we knew that his story was one of pain. I’m so happy that Freya knew that he would be worth the wait and had the patience to let Hawk come to her when he was ready. But when Hawk was ready man did the sparks fly. Loved it!! Can’t wait for the next one!
Third book in this series and this book is just as good as the first. One of the few series I actually watch for the next book to come out! I already can’t wait for the next one! X
No i don't want the story to end!!It was soo soo good!I absolutly loved it soo much!I love Hawk and Freya, such a wonderful love story ! Can't wait for Tracker and Blakely story it's going To ne good I'm sure!❤❤❤❤❤❤
They just keep getting better and better. Oh my goodness. What I thought was Hawk’s issues were close and yet so far! Freya is perfect for him and their love story melted my heart.
I was able to feel the pain that Hawk’s lived with day in day out however, he faced his pain and was able to get his woman. I also liked the humor; it balanced out the story.
