A secret guild. Four men vying for her heart. A decision that will change everything.
Once a snake, always a snake, huh? No matter how much Luna tries to prove herself, everyone will always blame her for the invasion of the Guild and theft of a dangerous spell book. Well, to hell with them. Luna hasn't got time to convince them otherwise, juggling her studies, magic practice, three handsome guardians and a mysterious stranger that she can't stay away from.
When a dark spell unlocks her memories, she opens a door she'll never close. Monsters court monsters, and turns out, she's one of them. But she's not the only one hiding dark secrets. She's going to have to tap into that darkness if she wants to save her home, her school and her men from the looming threat of the serpents.
Crossfire is book 3 in the Guild of Shadows Academy series, a reverse harem paranormal romance.
Mila Young tackles everything with the zeal and bravado of the fairytale heroes she grew up reading about. She slays monsters, real and imaginary, like there's no tomorrow. By day she rocks a keyboard as a marketing extraordinaire. At night she battles with her mighty pen-sword, creating fairytale retellings, and sexy ever after tales.
This is the third book in the series and I would say the most action-packed! We pick up right where book two leaves off and it is a rollercoaster of a read!
We find out definitive answers on who the spy is, what Camus is after and why; we also see what this unlikely group has to offer not only as individuals but as a working unit.
The details and world building are amazing. You can see the world unfolding around you and you are totally immersed in the world. The characters continue to shock you as they continue to grow and make decisions that could impact the world as they know.
Very good story and exciting ending-there were a few tears threatened. I can not wait for the next one!!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Luna is back and stronger then ever! There are all sorts of things happening in this new installment to this awesome series. Things are progressing between her and the guys though there are quite a few bumps in the road to say the least. On top of that they are still trying to defeat her grandfather before he attacks again. With that in mind Luna does what she thinks is right only for things to go horribly wrong with some awful circumstances. A fantastic addition. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
What an amazing story. The ups and downs in this book, the twists and turns will leave you gasping. Just when you think you know what is going to happen next, nope you get thrown for a loop. And that ending? Really? I just can't. I really need the next one like now please.
This is an amazing series that just keeps getting better and better with each book! An exciting rollercoaster ride full of action, adventure, emotions, drama and twists and turns making this Rh paranormal read an absolute must! I warn you this series is highly addictive and must be read from the very beginning , along with some intriguing characters you will not be able to put this down!
A story of fight, hope, and loss. Luna is on a hunt for answers, not stopping to think twice about breaking some rules when it means getting to the point. That includes going to Gable despite having it explicitly forbidden by Blaze and Venellan. Yet the Guild rules feel constricting, and she needs to act before it's too late.. even though the cost might be high and eventually unacceptable. The story quality improves with every book, and now with the darkness spread across the pages, I can definitely feel it more realistic, more complex, and digging deeper into the characters' lives. I love the progress in the guardians' development, although I feel Cole is totally pushed into background. I even acknowledge some progress in Luna, although my inability to connect with her remains (can't help the feeling I would slap the girl every third chapter to grow up and start thinking before acting, I could even expect most of the outcomes of her actions.. and sometimes I do not understand her changing moods. Getting offended and angry when her boys want to unlock her memories, then turning around one eighty and going through corpses to unlock the same behind their backs. Eh.) Yet the drama in the book is intense, and I liked majority of it, so I am still willing to continue despite the heroine not being my cup of tea.. it's more than balanced with the male characters though, I absolutely love most of them :))

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Book three Crossfire of the Guild of Shadows series, gets even better!! I knew that this series was going to be a an entertaining cant put down read.
Luna and her guys are really starting to get in the groove of their relationship and their feelings toward one another. Things are not easy but with each other they can do anything. That does not mean things are not trying to test Luna and her men. If you have read books one and two then you know what her grandfather is and what he is trying to do. They are trying to stop him and save each other as well as the world. Luna tries to do what is right, and I root for her each and every time. Hence the title Crossfire, there is alot of it.
Very enjoyable read, one that just keeps getting better and better. I highly recommend this series!!
Crossfire started right where wildfire ended. I was excited to see more to the story and characters in this book and oh it did not disappoint. The plot grew in epic proportions and the wild ride of action, emotions and adventure began. I definitely felt my heart stop several times throughout this book. And wow, I didn't expect that ending!! Like what happened? Crossfire is definitely my favourite book in the series so far and I have high hopes the book 4 will blow this out of the water! What an amazing book by these two fantastic authors. Beautifully written and just so full of wonderful and suspenseful moments that make this book an exciting read. Bring on book 4!
Wow! This story really took a turn with its twists turns. It is jammed packed with drama, suspense, mystery, and action. There is so much going on in this book that it is gripping and intriguing. It is a stunning story that must be read. It draws you in and doesn’t let go. Luna is strong and protective as well as very caring. The guys tend to be protective but at the same time they act a little selfishly for themselves. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
The third book in this absolutely amazing and freaking addicting series. They are still dealing with trying to figure out what the brotherhood wants from Luna, among other things. Shes trying to deal with her feelings for the guys. The ending of this one though left me reeling and now I absolutely and desperately need the next book to find out what's going to happen to them all. So dang good.
Bloody hell how can you end this book like that Ms Andra & Ms Young?? Im annoyed on so many levels now, lol. Wheres the loyalty to Luna (FMC)? I just wanted to punch Blaze, Talon and Cole the hell out but maybe hug Gable the bad boy done good in this book. Damn now i have to wait for the next book to find out whats gonna happen next. Great book though but its left me pleasantly peeved ((if there is such a thing??))
Fantastic Read. Love this series. Luna is doing everything she can to prevent Camus getting his way, but will it be enough. Can she earn the trust of those around her or, do they feel that she is just a snake in the grass? This series has a bit of everything you need and keeps you on the edge of your seat. This is a brilliant read. well worth it.
The surprises keep exploding left and right, even in the middle. Crossfire is a very appropriate title. Everyone seems to be caught in one. There were some I wanted to cheer, some I wanted to hug, and certainly a few I wanted to smack. And that ending.....book 4 needs to come soon! I received this arc for an honest review
This book was on fire with how good it was. All those twists and turns make the name a perfectly chosen one. I wasn't 100% with Gable but after this book he might be my new number one. Move on over Cole because I relinquish my dibs on you.
Cannot wait for book four! Well done Mila and Skyler!
Book three continues Luna journey and has a nice amount of drama, action, and romance. It leaves you with a cliffhanger that makes you wish you could continue reading. Enjoyable read.
I love the ups and downs that this book throws my emotions in with all the twist and turns. This book picked up where book two left off at and lets just say you do not want to miss reading this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
Such a good read. Action packed, edge of your seat, what’s going to happen. Add in some laughs and some tough cries and you have an amazing story. I can’t wait to see where the characters go from here.
Crossfire is the third book in This fantastic series , luna and the gang face many twists and turns and dangers that leave you thirsty for more. I Cannot wait for Hellfire to continue the story
Goddess this book made me cry like a baby . The headmaster is an old turd that either realize things need to change or he needs to leave. I’m so irritated with Blaze I could strangle him. I love Talon and Gable and Cole . I hope the serpent king and queen die soon . I hope they beg Luna , Cole and Gable for help 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬good book can’t wait for the next one.

Mila Young and Skylar Andra what have you done to me?? How could you end it like that? I loved this book even more than the first two books! This book is full of twists and turns, drama and intense emotions. There were times in the book where Luna frustrated me with her decisions. There is a lot going on in this book and I will not spoil it but I cannot wait for what will happen next! Bring on book four!
Talk about decisions coming back to bite you. Without spoiling the story, I will say that this book was great in being the rising climax of the whole series. Left it on a nail biting cliffhanger that ensures I can't wait to get ahold of the next book, when it is released. Keep the awesomeness coming ladies.
This was a good read and addition to the series. Good plot and fantastic characters. Hopefully it won't take as long for the next book to come out as this one did.
welcome to the third book in the Guild of Shadows series. this book takes off right where book 2 left us. Luna is still trying to keep her grades up whilst juggling all of her men (who are finally starting to get along) and she's finally stopped giving a rats bum what all the other students think of her. The plight to uncover the hidden secrets that are trapped in her mind have hit an all-time high. I did feel a bit of whiplash from the constant back and forth Luna has with 'do not touch my memories' to 'unlock everything' in a matter of sentences. And I also still wanted to slap her every now and then to remind her she needs to grow up. especially dating multiple men. However, I still needed to know what happened. This story is definitely spicier then the first two books now that the guys are starting to get along better and have semi accepted gable (which is my favorite mmc btw). Towards the end, the men all have to band together for one extremely important turn of events... will they all come out of it the same way they went in?
I was lucky enough to get the audio version of this series, liking a narrator for an audiobook is very much a personal choice, and unfortunately, I did not find myself connecting with these voice actors.
Omg, this storey is soooo good, Gets better and better with each book!!! This series is becoming seriously addictive. The interatcions between her love interest is more real than most Rh and the character dynamics is totally believable. There is a traitor at the Guild Academy who is causing a lot of trouble for Luna and her men. A 4th love interest from outside the academy alters the dynamic. The action ramps up as does the suspense and the storey still has many twists and turns. The ending though - ahhhhhhhgggggg Noooo what are the authors doing to us. Really cant wait until book 4 arrives as this is one of those storey where you really need to know what is going on and how the storey ends.
This author was probably one of my favourites a while ago, I stopped reading just because I moved away from this type of book for a while.
I think this was pretty good again. Its been a while since I read the previous books but it didn't take long for me to fall back into the storyline and pick up what was going on. It didn't all come flooding back but it did come in drips.
This book it started to kick off again. What does her grandfather want inside her and how is she going to protect herself now that shes been cast out of the Guild. I'm super curious how the author or authors(I'm confused) are going to progress this.
I really hoped we would see more of the plot unfold in this book but it still moved really slowly. Still loads of spice between Luna and her men. This was an enjoyable fantasy read. I listened to the audiobook and love the way the narrators bring these characters to life. If you are looking for heavy spice with minimal/slow plot then this book is absolutely for you. If you like more plot with your spicy reads then you may be disappointed with this. I still rate it 3 stars but I do enjoy a good plot with my books.
Luna, new Shadow Guild recruit, is waiting with Cole, Blaze and Talon, her defenders, to see what is going to happen now that everything has been changed. As the story progresses a deeper hole is dug, an unconventional solution is sought, and the true colors of people appear. Mila Young and Skyler Andra have really stepped up the OMG factor in their latest addition to the Guild of Shadows. Crossfire will definitely leave you cursing that you have to wait for Hellfire (unless you are late to the series) to come out. Expect a twisted mountain road in this one folks.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I feel so bad for Luna. No matter how hard she tries to help, things just don't seem to go her way, She wants nothing more then to be a light for the Guild. She will soon realize not everything is dark and light. I really enjoyed this installment in the Guild of Shadows. There is tons of action in this book. So many things are happening. I can't wait for more.
