Sweet Nightfall

Rate this book
"Kathryn Vegas brings the joyful magic of old school romance back to life with the sizzle today's readers love!" Teetering on the brink of forty, Sara Hartford feels that her dating options are slim to none. If a guy is keen for a night of romance they either bore her to tears or don't have a single common interest. This woman's looking for more than a fling, she's after an emotional connection. It's soul bond or bust. Being an honest vampire doesn't pay the bills. Adam's nonexistent resume makes finding gainful employment a challenge. Luckily, he lives in the modern world and late-night drivers are in demand. With dawn about to break, Adam decided to risk one more ride before the sun claimed the day, but he got more than he bargained for when he picked up vivacious, Sara Hartford. Sparks fly as their playful banter unfolds. A connection is formed, but there's a major problem. Despite Adam's forty-years of worldly experience, this vamp looks like a twenty-four-year-old hard-body movie star. Sara can't stop asking herself, "Why would this hottie want to date a woman my age?" Adam's sick of the vapid vampire lifestyle. He's after more. With Sara in his sights he's bound and determined to show her he's more than just a boy toy. This fantasy turns into a nightmare when a bloodsucker from Adam's past comes back to claim him. Will their love be enough? 259 pages on paperback "If you loved 90's romance you'll love the sweetness of these characters. With such loveable protagonists and hateable antagonists, you're all in rooting for Sara and Adam's love! You can feel Kathryn's love for Jude Deveraux and Julie Garwood and the like, from back in the day. This love story will fill your heart with joy!" *Mature content for adults. Sexy and sweet erotica that has an actual storyline

I wasn't sure what to expect when I downloaded this book but boy oh boy was it fantastic. It has all the juicy elements that I was hoping for but bonus it has a really good story. The main characters are likable and fun. It makes it even more lovely when they connect in the book. The romantic scenes are so hot. Believable enough to keep me totally in it. I mean, I've never met a guy like that but they are out there somewhere right?!?!? Many characters in the book are relatable and fun to read about. Fun and sexy read!

Bring on book two!

What a fun read! I loved the characters humor back and forth and the family dynamics. Steamy without being obnoxious. The story line was great and I am looking forward to the next!

Lighthearted and sexy with compelling characters and enjoyable dialogue. I am smitten with our main male protagonist already. Truly what it feels like trying to date as single middle aged mother.
