I didn't like it. It was published in 1975 and therefore there's a lot more history to Cher than the author could cover. This is the first time I've ever 'researched' anything about Cher so I went into this biography completely unaware of her history. The author had a very negative view of Cher (possibly justifiably, I don't know).
Aside from all that I stated above, I just didn't like the author's style of writing. Also, I found numerous typos, and in some instances complete words missing, throughout the book. Doesn't exactly make for pleasant reading.
I give it a D-.
