It's official. Farscape is simply the most highly acclaimed sci-fi show on TV. Following the massive success of volumes one and two, Farscape: The Illustrated Season 3 Companion continues Titan's bestselling series with in-depth coverage of the show's most exciting year so far. With unprecedented access to the show's stars and production team (including Farscape creator Rockne S. O'Bannon), the book takes an exclusive, detailed look behind the scenes, and also includes an episode guide to the whole of season three, with a look ahead to season four... It's a must for all Scapers Also includes an 8-page colour section
Another guide but to the third season. Descriptions of the episodes along with little details from everyone involved. Also descriptions of the characters involved with the season and how they are from the previous seasons. All in all, a informative read for fans of the Series.
This is the third in this set of books that discuss Farscape. This one deals with season 3, and covers each episode and has extra sections on script to screen, the characters the effects, the lexicon, and into season four. Each episode has a cast listing, who the episode was written and directed by, guest characters, a quote from the show, a synopsis of the show, and one or more photos. Each episode will also contain other information.
This is not a critique of the show as in the other series of episode guides. It's a well done companion and for anyone who really likes Farscape they should get the entire series.
Season 3, or Farscape Apocalypse was filled with death, explosions, twinning, love, laughter, and tears (p. 6). This book does its best to capture snippets of all features in each episode. It also describes character development and the magics behind the scenes.
This also included some colour photos which brought a little extra to this companion piece the others didn't.
I really enjoyed reading this book, and getting all the ‘behind the scenes’ info from the cast and crew about how they put the third season together and what went into it.
