I love story
This is a first for miss candice having a gay character writen in as a strong male bond with the lead alpha male character. I love how Benji said he gay but also my brother so I except him as he is. I love that Brooklyn is getting help because black folks be taking their unhealthy hearts to newvrelationships. But I need her and Benji to be honest with each other soon. Cherise is getting on my nerves staying with dolla. I need more diamond and Momma. This is a love story so I can wait to see how Miss candice pen all these characters into falling all the way in love.

Great ending
The storyline continues to get better while character development will have you wondering about their motives. I really hope that Benji & Brooklyn make it. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Excited to see what happens next in book 4.

Good Good!
The writer definitely gives you something to really sink your teeth into. We get a story that pulls you in for a ride on a winding road. I like that we are not really getting a lead character that we can get behind. I love that Benji is a laid back up front man,that doesn't play games. Now Ms.Brooklyn is quite annoying,you can understand hurt and betrayal,but to be a whiny,bitter person not taking it out on who need to sucks. You are getting glimpses of what is shaping up to be a very entertaining story but we are going to have to wait. Looking forward to the next exciting story.

Great read
Brooklyn is a strong woman so I'm glad she did not make a scene when she saw Benji out with a woman. She knew that he was not hard but she couldn't help falling for him. e believe he it's catching feelings for Brooklyn too but he it's miss cautious because of who he is and because of his daughter. I think they would be good for each other because they can both experience true love with no games. Baby mama drama it's what she might get though. Her goofy fake old best friend needs to get dealt with too because she is grimy. I can't wait to see his this book ends.

This was a good one..
I liked this one a lot. Brooklyn was done so dirty by Dayton and his dirt was still coming out at the end. I feel for Brooklyn because she was really loyal but she was hurt and damaged. Benji seems like a good match for Brooklyn but I feel like his BM will not go away quietly. I think part 2 is going to have some drama and I cannot wait! Good read with just the right amount of drama and unexpected parts that left my mouth hanging lol.

Did not want this book to end, Benji is just what Brooklyn needs in her life he seem like a real one.storyline captured and held my attention until the end.Dolla needs to get his and Cheries stupid A?? Needs to get her mind right ain't no man worth all that she is going through.Can't wait for the next part.

I felt so bad for Brooklyn then as soon as she starts to get her mojo back it gets snatched again. I hope that everything works out for her. Benji is a good look for her but I don’t know how it’s going to go with Brazil’s mama being in the picture. I can’t stand Kahlani! I hope she gets exactly what’s coming for her! Can’t wait for part 2!

Ok 👌book 3
In have really enjoyed this story, however I feel like book.3 was to much of a filler. I wish she would have it longer a ended the story. Without giving too much away...I'm over the friend Cheise she is getting on my nerves and the BM too, I hope B&B get the HE. I will be reading 📚book 4.

captivating strategic romance
This book was not what I expected it was just the opposite. I loved how it started out with a bang ❗️ How dare Dayton and the best friend try my girl like that? However Mr Benji is a interesting piece of fine as can be bring a girl back to life nigga. Yes this book is very good I’m on to book 2

Good Read
I love how Brooklyn has her own stuff: business, fashion, home and car. She has the choice to be with Benjamin or not. Now Brooklyn’s ex and so-called friend kelani really hurt her deeply. I’m sure that I would have had to put states between us because I don’t think that I could take the high road. I’m all in this series. This is my second time reading this book.

Loved the story line.
The book pulled me in, even though I said I wouldn’t read it until the series was complete; temptation got the best of me!
There are some grammatical and spelling errors which why I put 4 stars but I genuinely loved the book.

Really good read
I loved the character development in this book. It wasn’t drawn out but it wasn’t rushed either. That allowed me to connect with the main characters in a way that has become almost nonexistent in urban romances today.

People were expecting Brooklyn to heal after only two months that I didn’t understand but I’m loving the build up and how descriptive it is. Brooklyn thoughts tend to be repetitive but I just think that shows how this betrayal affects her.
